All of our dogs are in foster homes across two states, and it is not fair to ask our volunteers to set up appointments you don't intend to keep. Beginning Jan. 15th 2025, no call, no shows or applicants who cancel without a 24 hours notice will be preemptively denied from adopting from our organization.

We do not arrange meet and greets without an approved adoption application. If we contact you to inform you that your application has been approved, we will send you a link to schedule the meet and greet. At the time of scheduling, a $20 deposit is required. This is to ensure that you actually show up - unfortunately this is a new policy after the large number of no call, no show applicants we have dealt with recently, causing our dogs to miss out on homes with other applicants. The deposit will be applied towards the adoption fee if the meet and greet is successful and adoption is finalized, and refunded to you if you do not adopt. Failure to show or cancel prior to 48 hours before the agreed-upon meet will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
