- Application Fee: A nonrefundable $100.00 application fee is required to process your enrollment application.
- Licensing Fee: A $25.00 licensing fee is required by Missouri State Board of Cosmetology & Barber Examiners to ensure compliance with state regulations.

IMPORTANT:

Before we can finalize your enrollment, there’s an important step you must complete due to a new state licensing policy. The Missouri Division of Professional Registration now requires all cosmetology students to apply for a student license online before starting school.

Follow These Steps to Complete Your License Application:

Step 1: Create Your Online Portal
1. Click this link: Missouri Division of Professional Registration
2. Select "Individual License"
3. Select "No, I want to sign up for a license for the first time"
4. Click "Proceed"
5. Fill in your personal information, including your Social Security Number
6. Create and save your security questions (we recommend writing them down or saving them securely on your device)
7. A security code will be sent to the email you provided.
Step 2: Verify & Set Up Your Account
1. Enter the security code from your email.
2. Create your account password (save this information in your phone or write it down—you’ll need this account throughout your cosmetology career).
3. After logging in, proceed to apply for your student license.
Step 3: Apply for Your Student License
1. On the MO PRO home screen, click "Apply for a License."
2. Select "Individual Professions."
3. Scroll down and select "Cosmetology/Barber Student."
4. Click "Yes, applying to a MO Board Approved School."
5. Select "Cosmetology Student" as the Applicable License Type.
6. Complete your personal information, education history, and other required details.
7. Provide Cosmetology School Info:
  School Name: Bloom Beauty Institute
8. Provide Required Documents - You will need to upload the following (digital copies or clear photos of these documents can be uploaded from your device):
  - Proof of Citizenship – Upload a Birth Certificate, Passport, or Naturalization.
  - Proof of Education – Upload high school transcripts, diploma, or GED
  - A recent 2" x 2" passport-style photo (Create your Photo ID here)

Agreement & Consent
After submitting your enrollment documents, our admissions team will review your enrollment packet and application promptly. If additional information or documents are needed, we will notify you. Once your application is approved, you'll be contacted to discuss the next steps in your enrollment process.

*Please note, enrollment for each class is limited. Once each class reaches maximum capacity, additional applicants will be placed in the next available classes based on our first-come-first-serve enrollment system.
By submitting payment, I acknowledge and agree to pay the non-refundable application fee of $100 to Bloom Beauty Institute and a $7 fee to the Missouri State Board of Cosmetology and Barbers Examiners, totaling $107.I understand that payment of the enrollment fees does not guarantee my enrollment in Bloom Beauty Institute's Cosmetology Program. Graduate in Less Than a Year
At Bloom Beauty Institute, you can complete our cosmetology program in less than a year and become a fully licensed cosmetologist. This means you’ll be on your way to an exciting, rewarding career in no time!

Course Information
Our full-time, day program requires 1,500 hours and takes about 43-45 weeks to complete, fully preparing students for the written and practical exams required to earn your Cosmetology License from Missouri State Board of Cosmetology.

*Important Financial Details*
• Bloom Beauty Institution is not currently able to offer or accept Financial Aid or A+ Scholarships.

• Bloom Beauty Institute is not eligible to offer a 1098-T form (as a result, tuition will not qualify for tax deductions or education credits).

• We are in the process of obtaining resources to offer financial assistance such as private loans and federal aid in the future.
