The Diamond Awards is seeking qualified judges (adjudicators) for the annual High School Musical Theatre Awards program. Qualified candidates should have theatrical experience on stage, backstage, or in the field of theatre education.
Judges will attend High School Musical productions that are registered for the Diamond Awards program, and complete an adjudication evaluation after the performance. Compensation will be offered for your time and travel. Productions occur from November 1, 2025 - April 19, 2026.
Adjudicator responsibilities:
- Attend a mandatory training session (In-person and Virtual options).
- Attend all shows assigned.
- Notify Diamond Awards if there may be a conflict of interest with the cast, so that all adjudications are unbaised.
- Fill out an adjudication form evaluation after every performance, no later than 3 days after seeing the performance.
- Adjudications include written feedback for students in Lead Roles.
- Receive and respond to all communications with the Diamond Awards staff.
- Must have reliable transportation.
