Broward Cultural Division invites qualified individuals to serve on the Artist Selection Panels for Broward County’s Public Art & Design program, which commissions unique artworks for County buildings and facilities.
Panelists play a key role in the public art selection process in Broward County. Artist Selection Panels are established for each public art project; the Panel then recommends artists and the acquisition of artwork based on the project criteria.
Qualified individuals will be artists or arts professionals such as designers, curators, art collectors, public art administrators, or other persons determined to meet the artists or arts professionals category by the Cultural Division and the Public Art & Design Committee.
The selection of artists and artwork are made through two or more public meetings: Qualification Review Meeting at which finalists are selected and invited to submit proposals and/or be interviewed for the project. Proposal Review Meeting at which the selected or shortlisted artist's design proposals are reviewed and recommended for the public art commission.
Deadline to apply is August 11. For questions, you may contact the Cultural Division at 954-357-7457 or visit Broward.org/Arts.
