The Norton Children's Hospital Foundation Teen Board and Teen Ambassador Programs are fun organizations that meet to share ideas and help the kids at Norton Children's Hospital through fundraising, events, volunteering and special projects.
Teen Board is exclusive to high school students in the Louisville and Southern Indiana area. To participate in Teen Board you must be a current or rising Junior or Senior. The Teen Board will have required monthly meetings, volunteer opportutnites and fundraising expectations. Please read through the following expectations to ensure you are prepared to follow through on this commitment. We look forward to reviewing your application!

Teen Board Expectations
- Attend a mandatory orientation session in August.
- Attend all scheduled meetings. (Max one meeting per month)
- If an absence is necessary, please notify Toree Parrish by email at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting.
- If two or more meetings are missed without notification, you may be up for dismissal from the Teen Board.
- Each member of the Teen Board must volunteer for a minimum of 16 hours each year with Norton Children's Hospital or the Norton Children's Hospital Foundation. Teen Board meetings are included in volunteer hours.
- Treat all volunteers, patients, families and fellow board members/ambassadors with respect and generosity.
- Be an outstanding representative of the Foundation at all events and volunteer opportutnties by listening to directions, problem solving, and offering help in all areas when needed.
- Make the most of Teen Board by being present and engaging in discussions during meetings and assignments during events.
- Be a champion for fundraising for Norton Children's Hospital in your high school or other groups you are involved in.
- Raise funds for Norton Children's Hospital and think outside the box for fundraising ideas.
