1. Class attendance:
All classes include an extensive warm up and cool down, including strength building and flexibility movements designed to assist with course curriculum. All students are expected to attend both the warm up and cool down aspects of class. The Pole Park has a zero tolerance late policy, please arrive 5 minutes prior to the start of your class time. students that are more than 10 minutes late to class will be turned away for safety reasons. This especially goes for higher level students as skills require extensive warm ups.
2. Catch ups
(A) If you are unable to attend your booked time slot you can make up the class before the end of the current term.
(B) All catch ups must be used prior to the end of each term.
(C) The Pole Park will do its best to cater for catch ups however it is the members responsibility to make sure they have used all the classes for each term.
(D) Catch ups should be used to catch up in the same style of class, however if there isn't another class available in that style the student is able to catch up in another style of class.
(E) As The Pole Park grows we have the right to change catch up terms & conditions
(F) You can not be absent for one style of class in order to make up in another. Students caught conducting this behaviour will be disqualified from catching up in alernative class styles.
(F.1) The Pole Park can refuse students the ability to make up in different classes if it finds the student is trying to formulate their own timetable whilst on a membership.
(G) All catch ups scheduled through the Pole Park catch up form are final so only book if you can 100% make it.
3. Class Changes:
(A) Classes can be changed by management at anytime during the first 3 weeks of each term.
(B) Students may swap their enrolement from one class to another as long as the original class the student enroled in has not sold out.
(C) Hypnotic Flow is a single routine choreography classes, A student that misses 3 week in a row will have to move out of this class and select another class to enrole in. This will not entitle the student to a refund.
4. Studio Rules
(A) The Pole Park have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to bullying. The Pole Park have the right to cancel your memberhsip and or class passes with no refund if you are found to be in breach of this policy.
(B) Students are not to instruct other students on how to perform pole levelled skills unless they are being trained as a teacher. Teaching someone a move that they are not ready for can result in injury.
(C) Students are not to comment negativly on other students appearance or bodies.
5. Refunds
Cooling Off Period: There is a 48 hour cooling off period on all Pole Park sign ups. A full refund can be issued within this 48 hour period and only within this period. This is pending no products have been used.
(A) The Pole Park has the right to refuse refund for the following:
(a.1) Change of mind - Changing your mind outside of the 48 hour cooling of period does not entitle a refund.
(a.2) Breach of clause 3.a - If you are caught participating in online or in person bullying or discrimination, your memberhsip will be canceled with no refund and you will pay out your 8 week contract as scheduled.
(a.3) Overcomittment - signing up to a high level membership and finding you have over comitted does not warrant a refund. "Downgrades" are case by case but may not be permitted depending on class numbers.
(a.4) Injury - Injuries sustained outside of the pole park does not entitle a student to canceling their membership. If a cancelation option is givien it will result in all future memberships to be paid upfront.
(a.5) Catch Ups - Not utalising all of your catch ups proir to the end of term will not warrant a refund. see clause 2.B for catch ups policy
6. Deposits
(A) New term deposits are non refundable. The deposit is used to secure your class position.
7. Direct Debits
(A) All memberships are signing up to a locked in 8 week term or ( 4 week Mini Term When Available ), Direct debits are set up to keep all students 1 week in advance. Falling 2 payments behind will prohibit you from attending class until payment is caught up.
(B) Students that consistently fall overdue will no longer have the option to sign up to a direct debit payment in future terms and will need to pay the upfront membership option.
8. Cancelling your membership
(A) memberships can be canceled if a student becomes injured and can not participate. A Doctors Certificate will need to be issues to claim a refund or membership cancelation. If the injury occurs outside of the Studio, students will need to complete their membership payments as scheduled.
(B) Cancelling your membership due to over commitment or changes in work roster does not mean that payments will stop and does not make a student eligable for a refund. All memberships are locked in for the duration of the term. The pole park & Yoga Park have a 7 day roster and will do its best to find an alternative class for you to move to.
(C) All cancelations / Terminations initiated by a students choice or behaviour will result in any future memberships higher than a Bronze will need to be paid upfront to secure thier spots & will exclude them from any Prize Draws as part of membership sign ups.
9. Referrals
If a student refers a friend they will get a $10 per week discount for the duration of the term & so will their friend. The new student needs to be enrolled in a beginner Pole Class for the referral discount to be eligable
(A) the referred student has to be a brand new student and never have done a term at the pole park or Yoga Park in the past.
Definitions:
Membership - Locked in classes over an 8 week term ( or 4 week Mini Term when applicable )
Direct Debits - Payments deducted from your chosen credit or debit card.
