What is TAEPP?
The Training and Adult Educator Professional Pathway (TAEPP) is a national framework led by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG), with implementation support from the Institute for Adult Learning (IAL) to professionalise the Training and Adult Education (TAE) sector. The TAEPP provides a structured pathway for the skills development of Adult Educators (AEs) in delivering quality Continuing Education and Training (CET).
The National Adult Educator Registry, under the TAEPP framework, serves as the national benchmark to ensure the quality of AEs. From 1 April 2026, AEs who wish to deliver SSG-supported programmes will be required to be on the Registry. Registration for AEs is currently open and no registration fee is payable for applications approved before 1 April 2026. To maintain their Registry status, AEs must also complete at least 40 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours and at least 80 practice hours every two years, depending on their tier, with all CPD and practice hours counted from 1 April 2026.
