- We provide referrals within 48 business hours after you complete this application and submit all required information without exception. Please be aware that the date on which you receive services may not fall within that timeframe. The business hours of the billing team processing your request are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Below is an example of delivery times.

The information required in this application is set by your insurer and by ASES to ensure the referral is valid. We will not process incomplete applications.

In compliance with ASES policies, WE WILL NOT ISSUE referrals without a date, with past dates, or with blank fields, etc. According to ASES policy, all referrals are valid for 90 days from the date of issuance; no provider can deny you or require new referrals if the one we have already issued is still valid.

We will upload a PDF of the referral to your patient portal. Ensure you have access to the patient portal, or call us at 787-746-3848 or email us at citas@pedmed.pcc.com to reset your account. Check with the office you will visit whether they accept the PDF of the referral or if you need to present the original. If they request the original, you must pick it up from our office Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
