Fundraising Committee – the success of a particular fundraiser or charity is highly reliant on the quality of the fundraiser chair and committee members. The chair organizes fundraisers, makes the final decisions relating to an event, and oversees all facets of the project in general. A good fundraising member will network to create fundraising events throughout our community.Grant Writer/Research – to research grants and apply for grants that Genesis is eligible for, and track them on the grant tracking spreadsheet. Experience preferred.IT Specialist/Coordinator – to support our organization with all IT needs.Case Management - coordinating services for our participants by providing and connecting them to a variety of agencies and professionals. Assisting participants in assessing their needs, referrals to services, and monitoring ongoing treatment and successes. Ensuring participants stay on track with their goals to become independent and self-sufficient. We offer internships.Human Resources – assist in all areas of human resources. We offer internships.Public Relations/Marketing Committee – the more visibility a nonprofit has, the more funding dollars it will attract and the more community support it will win. Marketing and branding a nonprofit bring awareness to its mission. Experience preferred.Social Media Coordinator – to maintain and update social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn) through awareness, and increase followers to gain participation and receive donations.Special Events Coordinator – to assist with events, setting up and breaking down, presentations to the community, and networking with agencies in our community.Board of Directors – to serve as a Board member for a three-year term. Board pledges are $1,000 annually and are pro-rated according to the start date. Tax Deductible.Volunteer Coordinator – to recruit volunteers to serve on committees, process interviews, provide volunteer orientation, and keep volunteers engaged.
