Thank You for Your Interest in Our Virtual Chess Classes!
We are thrilled to have the opportunity to teach your student and guide them on their chess journey—completely free of charge. Our goal is to make chess accessible to all students, helping them develop critical thinking, strategy, and confidence through our engaging virtual classes.
Chess Skill Assessment Instructions
To get started, your child will take a quick 25-question skill assessment to determine their class placement:
Class Levels:
- Pawn: Complete beginners.
- Knight: Knows how pieces move.
- Bishop: Can checkmate and finish games.
- Rook: Learning advanced tactics.
Guidelines:
- Independent Work: Encourage your child to complete the test without help. Parents may assist with reading only.
- Honest Answers: If unsure, select "I don't know" rather than guessing.
- Chess Moves: Some questions require chess notation (e.g., e4 or Nf3).
Once completed, you’ll receive your child’s results and a Zoom link to join their class.
