Join Wyoming State Parks to learn new skills, explore the outdoors, and gain confidence in recreation! **No refunds.
  • Who is leading these?! Ranger Angelina is out of the southwest Shoshone district. She has been a park ranger for the past six years with a background in Biology. Angelina is a Certified Interpretive Guide (CIG), Certified Interpretive Trainer, and Leave No Trace Master Educator and former Wyoming State Parks employee of the year. We'll often be joined by Big Horn District Ranger Katie Singleton and Shoshone District Manager Kyle Bernis, both CIG and Certified Interpretive Planners among other accolades!

Angelina works heavily in women's programming, including teaching at Wyoming Game and Fish Department's Becoming an Outdoors Woman and being the Women Who Hike ambassador for Wyoming. In 2024 we had eleven Wyoming Wildflower Women 101 sessions as well as four campouts! We have lots of repeat women and are always open to new ones too. Most women come solo - this is a time to show up as you are and to hopefully leave a little more empowered in the outdoors.

We would dissuade women from coming back to the same 101 sessions they've been to before as the content will be the same.

  • No refunds will be given as supplies are purchased in advance and registration allows us to plan for attendance. The cost of the class is required to reserve your spot and ensure participation and as many folks as possible have the opportunity to attend.
