The Police Executive of the Year (Keith Bulla Award)!

The North Carolina Police Executives Association (NCPEA) is presenting the “Police Executive of the Year Award”. The award will be awarded to a well-rounded law enforcement officer who has exceeded the duty requirements expected of his or her position and has demonstrated a distinct pattern of community service coupled with professional achievement. The NCPEA is presenting the “Police Executive of the Year” award to an active member of the Association. Nominations may be made by anyone wishing to nominate a police executive of a law enforcement agency/department who is in good standing and a member of the association. A police executive is defined by NCPEA as a sworn law enforcement employee who holds the status of a sworn supervisor in any law enforcement/public safety entity.

The Police Executive should excel in identifying and solving complex problems within the department or community. The Police Executive should contribute significantly to the reduction of crime rates and the improvement of public safety. In addition to initiating or enhancing leadership development programs within the organization.
