1. General Consent and Liability Waiver

I consent to my child participating in classes offered by Youth Braid and Business Academy and/or It's Bigger than Braids, including hair braiding, styling, skin care, makeup application, nail care, design, and techniques. I release Youth Braid and Business Academy and/or It's Bigger than Braids from all liability for any loss, damage, injury, or other consequences that may arise from participation.

7. Flat Irons and Needles Use: Your child will participate in classes involving the use of hot tools, such as flat irons, and needles for sew-in hairstyles and silk press hairstyles. Usage of these tools will be done under the supervision of professional instructors. Youth Braid and Business Academy and/or It’s Bigger than Braids will ensure that all tools and products are used safely and according to manufacturer instructions

11. Cell Phone Policy In order to create a focused and fun environment, we will have a cell phone basket policy in place during camp hours. All students will be required to place their phones in a designated basket at the front of the classroom at the start of each day. Phones may only be used:– Before class starts– During lunch and scheduled breaks– After class ends– In the case of an emergencyParents will receive a full schedule listing these designated phone access times. If you need to reach your child during camp hours, you will be provided with a list of camp staff phone numbers who can assist you immediately.
