As a self-employed carer, you have the option to charge a fixed hourly rate for each care session, covering various activities, as mutually agreed upon.
This requires agreement from you, the carer, and the individual or their family.

You as the carer, will collect the payment from the individual or their family.

Dementia Active CIC will ask the individual or their family to become a 'Dementia Diamond' supporting Dementia Active charity, which is voluntary and in addition to any payment made to the carer. (This donation is eligible for Gift Aid).The member will have the option to decline this suggested donation.
