Homeschool Days at The STEM Experience Center
At the STEM Experience Center, we know that STEM can be challenging. That’s why we strive to provide accessible resources to help pursue different topics in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math with our brand-new field trip offerings for Homeschool based students and their families.

Each program will have a thematic focus organized by our Field Trip Coordinator, who will also facilitate the program. Then, enjoy lunch on your own and some additional time to explore everything that the STEM Experience Center at Camp Dellwood has to offer!

- 12pm - 1pm Lunch
- 1pm - 3pm Independent STEMventure

3. Select and pay for the program(s) below... and yes, you can register for more than one at a time!

Costs per Program
$8 per participant ages 5-18 years old
$3 per adult chaperone

Refund Policy

Please note that we no longer offer refunds for Homeschool STEM Days, but are happy to transfer your registration to a different STEM Day or Family Event program. Please reach out to us at least two weeks prior to the scheduled program to take advantage of this.

It's time for your program!
1. You will receive a confirmation email prior to the program with more details about the program. If you have any questions before, please contact our customer care department at 317-924-6800.

2. Please park at the Founders Lodge, 7201 Girl Scout Lane, Indianapolis, In 46214 on the day of your program and use the paved trail to come to the Exploration Lab. Your host will greet you there!

3. As your program concludes, please practice leaving a space better than you found it by returning supplies where you found them and cleaning up as best as you can.

2/19/26- Homeschool Days - Robot Rally (5200-2807) $8.00

Design, build, and race your way through this high-energy robotics challenge! In this hands-on program, students will experiment with Cubelets to build reactive robots and compete in exciting Sphero races!

3/12/26- Homeschool Days - Boats, Planes, and Automobiles – Engineering Challenge (5200-2807) $8.00

We will explore how various forces like gravity, lift, drag, thrust, and friction can influence design before putting the engineering design process to work to design, build and test vehicles that fly, float, and roll in a series of engineering challenges.

We are bubbling over with math and science! Students will stand inside a huge bubble, make big bubbles to measure, use different instruments to create bubbles, discover “walls” of bubbles, and more!

Make a splash with this STEM pool party where kids will explore buoyancy, water pressure, motion, and engineering through playful, hands-on water challenges. Learning meets fun as science concepts come to life through games, experiments, and collaborative problem-solving in the camp Dellwood pool!
