EIT Taster days

Get a taste of your future! EIT has a number of Taster Days on offer this year. Held over the July school holidays, you can come along to one (or more) of the exciting workshops and get a taste of what your future study options could be. These Taster Day sessions are for anyone aged 15-19 and you don't need to be attending school to attend.
Environmental Science: Tuesday 9th July 10am -12pm

Come along and explore the Ōtātara Outdoor Learning Centre. Then move into the biology labs for interactive activities exploring soil, water and bugs. Then finish off by learning about tunnel tracking and pest identification.

Architectural Technology: Monday 15th July 9am – 12 pm

Come along and get a taste of Architectural Technology. Spend the morning designing structures and get an introduction into architecture design software.

Spaces are limited.

Vet Nursing: Friday 19th July 9am – 12pm

Come along and get a taste for Animal Care and Veterinary Nursing. Tour the onsite vet clinic and learn all about the courses on offer.

Then jump into interactive workshops on animal first aid and bandaging and get an introduction into animal handling.
