The ASEAN-China Youth Exchange Camp is a collaborative initiative between the ASEAN Foundation and the People’s Republic of China, funded by the ASEAN-China Cooperation Fund. This programme aims to enhance the significance and understanding of ASEAN-China relations. In this endeavour, the ASEAN Foundation will partner with Xiamen University, the appointed local organiser.
Designed for talented students from the 10 ASEAN countries and China, this programme is ideal for those passionate about fostering ASEAN-China relations. Selected delegates will engage in a series of educational and cultural activities in Xiamen and Quanzhou, China, from 26 to 31 August 2024.

Application Preparation Checklist
Before submitting your application, please prepare the following:
- Professional Headshot Photo (maximum 500 KB)
- Letter of Recommendation from your respective department, faculty, university, or educational institution
- List of Five Noteworthy Personal Achievements (briefly and concisely described in this form, no more than 5 achievements, no CVs)
- Individual Essay addressing the following questions (maximum 800 words total):
- What do ASEAN-China relations mean to you? How do you think youth can meaningfully engage with the region's development and create impact?
- How do you think ASEAN-China relations impact the countries and citizens in both regions?
- Identify one important ASEAN regional issue that needs to be addressed at the ASEAN-China level. What solutions would you propose to resolve this issue?

All applications must be submitted by 10 July 2024, at 23:59 (GMT+7).
