Home Fire Safety Assessments Request
We encourage all households to have a home fire safety assessment completed by our service; your safety is our priority.
Knowing how to reduce the risk of fire in your home is an important part of living safe and well. We offer free Home Safety Assessments to all Central Huron residents. If you do not have working smoke/CO alarms, or have working smoke/CO alarms but would like more information about how to live safely and securely at home, book one of our free visits today.
During a home fire safety visit staff from the Central Huron Fire Department will come to your home to chat about how to keep you and your family safe from fire. This includes checking you have working smoke/CO alarms; using electrical items and planning and developing a fire escape plan.
By booking a Home Safety Assessment, you’re making sure your home is checked over by a fire safety specialist who will also talk to you about your individual needs and safety concerns. The easiest way to book a visit, is to use our online booking form or call the Fire Department.
