Wildlife Volunteer Transportation
***Read Requirement Below***
*Wildlife rehabilitation is different than domestic rescue.
Wild animals fear humans and need to maintain that fear in order to return to the wild. This is not an opportunity to "cuddle cute wild animals"! Not to mention wild animals SMELL TERRIBLE! Outside in the wide open space it's not so bad but many wild animals in a small indoor environment does not smell like flowers! If you can not handle strong odors, this is not for you! Being in your vehicle might not smell good.
*This is not an "photo op" to have your picture taken with wild animal or take pictures of "cool animals" to post on your social media
The animal should remain contained safely in the box they are being transported in. Trying to "peek" at the animal is added stress to the animal and an opportunity to escape.
*Voices are to be kept low and quiet around patients to reduce stress.
Also if you wish to listen to music or audio books, do so with an ear bud or headphones so the animals do not hear.
I agree to the above guidelines
