When?

Rescue begins on Sunday, September 28th and meets on Sunday's from 6:30pm-8:30pm from September 28th - November 16th, 2025.

What is "Rescue Project"?

Rescue is a multi-week event of great meals, great conversation and answers to life’s tough questions. Fr. Riccardo and the team at ACTS XXIX have formulated a plan to bring people together to discuss these questions and how our Faith provides answers to those questions.

What happens at Rescue?

Food – Whether it’s a group of friends gathered around a kitchen table, or a quick catch-up over coffee and appitizers, food has a way of bringing people together. It’s no different at Rescue. We start with food, because it’s a great way to encourage community and get to know each other.

Video – The videos are designed to engage and inspire conversation. Generally thirty minutes long, they explore the big issues around life and unpack some important questions many people want answered.

Conversation – Probably the most important part of any Rescue evening is the chance to share thoughts and ideas to discuss in a small group. It’s an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly and open environment.

Rescue Team Member: Team members can help with hospitality, as greeters, set up, tear down, serve food, and other general functions for the event.

Table Leader: Do you have the gift of listening and encouraging others to share their thoughts? Training would be provided on best practices for facilitating table discussion
