Parental Agreements
Both my child and I agree to read the student handbook and understand what it says. In signing this, we completely agree to support the beliefs, rules, and requirements of North Gwinnett Christian Academy and Love & Learn Preschool

As a parent, I pledge to support the staff, faculty, and teachings of this institution. Regardless of my personal beliefs, I guarantee full support of every guideline outlined in the handbook. If for any reason I allow my child to go against or violate these guidelines, the school shall not be held accountable for the removal of my child from NGCA or L&L Preschool.

I also undertake full financial responsibility for my child. Should I fail to meet my financial obligation, I will withdraw my child from NGCA or L&L Preschool upon receipt of written notification.

As a parent, I will endeavor to give my complete support to the faculty and staff of NGCA and L&L Preschool. In every situation, the staff will be given the benefit of the doubt. I will not degrade the faculty, staff, teachings, or guidelines of this academy to my child.

I understand NGCA and L&L Preschool is exempt from Bright from the Start and is not required to be licensed. Exemption number: EX-50972

Absences

Ten unexcused absences in one semester may result in dismissal from school. Any student absent more than 30 days (a combination of excused and unexcused) will receive a failing mark for classes taken that school year. If at this point dismissal from school was not warranted, the student will still be required to attend classes even though a passing grade will not be obtained. Any grading opportunity missed because of an unexcused absence will result in a loss of points earned on that particular grade. The amount of points lost will be determined by each teacher.

It is best for family vacations and trips to be scheduled during school breaks since it is often difficult for a child to make up work missed during an absence.

Please set appointments for times before or after school hours. However, if this is not possible and your child must be released from school early, notify the front office dated note with the time your child will be picked up.

Tardies

Tardies are disruptive to the classroom and also have an adverse effect on your child's educational process. Any NGCA student arriving after 8:30 will be counted tardy.

Note: In one quarter

3 tardies = 1 absence
15 tardies = family conference with the administration (admission to class will be granted after conference)

Tuition Contract

I do understand that upon enrollment, I am responsible for the full year's tuition. I also understand that NGCA will divide my tuition into 10 equal payments from August to May. If my child is withdrawn during the school year, I am still responsible for paying the entire balance due for the remaining year.

Accepted payment methods: cash / check / money order / online payment (Online payment fees apply)

Tuition is due on the first of every month. There is a 5-day grace period. Payments received after the 5th of the month are subject to a $25 weekly late fee. Should tuition not be paid after 30 days, students will be withdrawn from the program until all payments are paid in full.

Accounts must be kept current for students to attend classes and participate in extra-curricular activities.

At least half of the curriculum payment is due on June 1st of each year. If not paid in full, the second half will be billed $25/month 1st - 6th and $30/month 7th - 12th, this includes a monthly billing fee.

Return check fee: $50

Yearly tuition may be paid in full for a 5% discount. Must be paid no later than June 1st.

Media Release: I give consent to all photos, audio recordings, academic work, and/or video recordings taken of me or my minor child by North Gwinnett Christian Academy and Love & Learn Preschool staff or their designee. I understand that any media becomes the property of the school and may be used by the school or others with their consent, for educational, instructional, or promotional purposes in broadcast and media formats now existing or created in the future.*

Medical Release: In the event of an emergency involving my child, and if North Gwinnett Christian Academy or Love & Learn Preschool cannot reach me, I hereby authorize any needed emergency medical care. I further agree to be fully responsible for all medical expenses incurred during the treatment of my child.*

Transference of Credits: North Gwinnett Christian Academy and Love & Learn Preschool are a private, non-accredited learning institution, we offer an accredited program of study. However, when transferring to a public learning institution, it is the receiving institution's discretion to accept or decline credits earned at NGCA and L&L Preschool. As a private institution, NGCA and L&L Preschool is in no way liable for the acceptance or denial of credits transferred. I have read and understand the position held by North Gwinnett Christian Academy and Love & Learn Preschool on the transference of credits to other learning institutions.*

Students are accepted on a six-week trial basis. To satisfactorily complete this trial program, a student must maintain a ( C ) average and exhibit a cooperative attitude with our school program. Each student’s record is reviewed by the administration quarterly, and the student’s admission is based on specific criteria.*
