Sleepy Hollow Lodge Rental Policies
Lodge Rental Rate: $50/hour
Additional Alcohol fees: (beer/wine only): additional $25/hour charge if serving alcohol which includes a Sleepy Hollow Bartender. You may only serve alcohol purchased from Sleepy Hollow.
Additional Security fees: If serving alcohol, you are required to have a uniformed officer present for the entire event. Cost of the officer is the responsibility of the renter. Sleepy Hollow staff can provide assistance in connecting you with an officer upon request. Failure to secure a uniformed officer may result in the forfeiture of your reservation without refund.

Rental Space Logistics:
- Capacity is 100 attendees with indoor seating for 50 people.
- Rental times are between 8AM and 11PM. Minimum rental time is 3 hours.
- Reservations are accepted 1 year in advance of the rental date and no later than 7 days from the rental date.
- Rental space cannot be reserved on Federal Holidays and reservation dates are subject to approval by Sleepy Hollow staff.
- The following items are available as part of your rental fee: 50 (Black) chairs; 6 round (6’) tables, 3 round (4') tables, and tablecloths (Navy) for all tables.
- Outside food and non-alcoholic beverages are allowed. Contact Sleepy Hollow staff if refrigeration is needed.
- AV equipment includes 2 Wi-Fi-enabled smart TVs.
- Sleepy Hollow Staff will unlock event space, answer questions as needed, assess facility at the end of the event, and lock-up after event.
Payment Information:
- Payment is due at the time of reservation. You will have one week after the payment link is sent to submit payment. Reservations will not be held without payment.
- $200 cash or check deposit is due at the start of the event and will be returned at the end of the event if there are no violation of renter responsibilities.
Terms and Conditions:
- Renter responsibilities include returning event space layout to initial set-up, taking trash to on-site dumpsters, wiping down surfaces and spills, and collecting all outside food, drinks, and items brought into the venue.
- If renter responsibilities are not followed and/or clean-up includes biohazardous waste, your $200 deposit will be held.
- Repair of any damage not caused by normal wear and tear that exceeds $200 will be charged to the renter.
- The renter shall assume responsibility for all damages to the facility, the park, and for any injuries to any person. This indemnity requirement is not intended to waive Polk County's immunities afforded by law.
- Smoking/Vaping is not allowed in the Lodge, on the Deck, or on the grounds surrounding the Lodge and Deck.
- Smoking/Vaping is allowed in the parking lot in front of the building. All cigarettes must be disposed of in the provided smoker receptacle.
- No fog or bubble machines, bird seed, rice, confetti, matchbooks or candles allowed.
- Staples, nails, tape, pins, thumbtacks and other defacing devices may not be used on interior or exterior surfaces such as walls, doors, trims, etc.
- Open flames and grills are not allowed.
- No pets allowed except certified service animals.
- All alcoholic beverages must be purchased and served through Sleepy Hollow.
Cancellations and Reservation modifications:
- All reservation modifications must be completed by the named person in the signed rental contract. Reservations may be modified up to 7 days in advance of the rental date. Modifications will incur a $10 change fee.
- Reservations cancelled 7 days in advance of the rental date will receive a 50% refund.
- Reservations cancelled less than 7 days in advance of the rental date are non-refundable.
- If a reservation is cancelled by Sleepy Hollow due to a natural disaster or the facility is deemed unusable by Sleepy Hollow staff, a full refund will be issued to the person who paid for the reservation.
