Program Policy, Terms & Conditions:

In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Go Fetch Run fitness classes,

• All dogs must be on a leash and controlled by their owner at all times. No exceptions. This is for the safety and comfort of everyone.
• Please, no retractable leashes.
• Owners are completely responsible for their dogs throughout the entire class and must sign a waiver to participate.
• Dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations (rabies, Bordetella, and distemper) and we recommend that your dog get cleared for rigorous physical activity from your vet prior to beginning the program.
• If your dog is aggressive toward other dogs or humans, they MAY NOT join the class. This is for the safety of everyone. Participant must be able to control their dog at all times.
• Participants must be at least 13 years old and be able to control their dog at all times in order to participate.
• Dogs need to be at least six months old to participate.
• You simply must be a dog-lover to attend our classes and get in a great workout. A dog isn't required. However, no more than one dog per person (it's a great opportunity to recruit a friend to join you!)
• You must pick up after your dog.
• Dogs that are not registered as service animals are not allowed inside YMCA buildings.
• YMCA members that are part of the Go Fetch Run program may request a temporary restroom pass only during the allocated class times of the Go Fetch Run program. The class instructor will provide a temporary access pass that must be presented at the YMCA welcome center prior to accessing the restroom area.
• All dogs must remain on a leash and controlled by their owner at all times.
• Schedules are subject to change.

Health and wellness program memberships MUST be set in a monthly (1st of the month) automated draft.

• All sessions must be redeemed within the same month of purchase. Unused sessions will not roll over to the following month nor will be refunded.
• Late Policy: scheduled sessions must be redeemed within the mutually agreed time of training. For instance, if a 60 min session is scheduled from 4:00pm to 5:00pm and the member arrives 15 min late to the session, the session will still have to end at 5:00pm. This policy serves as courtesy to respect other members with scheduled training sessions.
• Cancellations: A written cancellation notice 14 days prior to the draft date MUST be submitted. No refunds will be made unless the member becomes disabled and unable to participate in sessions for 30 consecutive days or more. Participants' inability to continue MUST be documented by a physician. Documentation MUST be submitted within 30 days from the membership expiration date, along with a written cancellation/refund request to the Program Director for final approval. The refund amount will be determined based on the cancellation request date. A $25 processing fee will apply.

Release, Waiver, Hold Harmless, and Indemnification Agreement

I understand that the YMCA activities have inherent risks, and I hereby assume all risks and hazards incident to my participation and/or my minor child’s participation in all YMCA activities. I further, on behalf of myself and/or my minor child’s waive, release, absolve, indemnify and agree to hold harmless the YMCA, the organizers, volunteers, supervisors, officers, directors, participants, coaches, referees from any claims or injury caused by the YMCA’s NEGLIGENCE or otherwise sustained during my use of the YMCA and the YMCA property.

Assumption of Risk:

I am participating in fitness classes offered by Go Fetch Run LLC.

• I understand these classes will be held at the YMCA of Greater San Antonio.
• I understand I will receive information and instruction about fitness provided by Go Fetch Run instructors.
• I recognize that fitness classes require physical exertion, which may be strenuous and may cause physical injury, and I am fully aware of the risks and hazards involved.
• I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a physician prior to and regarding my participation in any fitness classes.
• I represent and warrant that I am physically fit, and I have no medical condition that would prevent my full participation in the class.
• In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Go Fetch Run fitness classes, I agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or damages, known or unknown, which might occur as a result of participating in the program.
• In further consideration of being permitted to participate in the Go Fetch Run fitness classes, I knowingly, voluntarily, and expressly waive any claim I may have against Go Fetch Run or any instructors for injury or damages, known or unknown, that I may sustain as a result of participating in the program.
• I, my heirs or legal representatives forever release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue Go Fetch Run or its instructors for any injury or death caused by my voluntary participation in any fitness class under the instruction of a Go Fetch Run instructor.
• I understand that participation in Go Fetch Run classes are not without some risk, that despite all dogs appearing healthy and being handled with care, dogs are not always predictable and the unexpected may occur. I hereby assume any and all risks that may occur by participating in classes with dogs.
• I hereby waive and release Go Fetch Run LLC, its employees, owners and agents of any and all claims resulting from participation in Go Fetch Run classes including specifically, but without limitation, any injury or damage resulting from the action of any dog, including my own.
• I further agree to pay veterinary/medical expenses incurred as a result of injury caused by my dog(s).
• I grant to Go Fetch Run, its representatives and employees the right to take photographs of me and my property in connection with the above-identified subject.
• I authorize Go Fetch Run its assigns and transferees to copyright, use and publish the same in print and/or electronically.
• I agree that Go Fetch Run may use such photographs of me with or without my name and for any lawful purpose, including for example such purposes as publicity, illustration, advertising, and Web content.
• I have read the above Release and Waiver of Liability and fully understand the contents. I voluntarily agree to the terms and conditions stated above.
