🛑 BEFORE YOU START 🛑: Please Note The Following: 1) Black Food Truck Friday festivities now include a Food, Beverage, and Dessert Tasting, in addition to Early Bird Consumer Discounts from 4-6pm. 2) Vendor Fees are listed by category and fees are 25-75% less than comparable festivals. 3) Our events average 1500 attendees. However, higher attendance is expected during peak season and special events. 4) Vendor fees are for One event. This section is for: All FOOD, BEVERAGE, & DESSERT VENDORS: (Vendors are to provide bite-sized samples during TASTING from 4-6pm)
In August 2023, BBOC launched Tastings to increase early attendance and help business owners market their brands. Business owners will received a $1 vendor credit for each tasting ticket collected.
The Goal: Provide guests an opportunity to try your brand. See this as a Marketing Campaign. This is also a Fundraiser for BBOC’s Build Black Fund in support of our BLACK BUSINESS HUB that provide grants and vendor fee discounts to Black-owned businesses. ALL FOOD & BEVERAGE VENDORS must provide Bite-Sized or Shot-sized Samples from 4-6pm. This Includes Food Trucks, Food Tent, Dessert,& Beverage vendors (etc). Guests will pick-up tasting tickets and redeem with vendors. Please Note: Vendor Credits have no Cash value. Benefits: 1) For each Tasting Ticket collected, BBOC will provide vendors a $1 Vendor Credit, redeemable at Black Food Truck Friday events for 90 days. . IE: If you collect 30 Tasting tickets, you will receive a $30 Vendor Credit. At the end of the tasting (after 6pm, unless advised otherwise), all vendors are to count their tasting tickets for their records, and hand-over to a BBOC representative. 2) Throughout the event (4-9pm) guests are being encourage to make general purchases in addition to sampling. 3) Taste is a sense that can last a lifetime and our Tastings provide guests an opportunity to fall in love with your brand and become lifelong supporters. 4) Taste Tastings encourages guests to come early, optimizing your potential to make sells from start to close of the event. More Customers = More Money Housecleaning: Please be considerate of guests time by arriving on time and being ready to provide samples at 4pm sharp. Vendors who fail to start on time will be asked to provide tastings for an extended timeframe. Also, Please Do not turn a customer away. BBOC may have Sample cups available but we ask that you not rely on sample cups. FYI: Dollar Tree has sample cups. Please do not substitute sampling for a discount unless there is a special circumstance and it’s Pre-approved by BBOC (Due to several incidents that occurred in 2022, we are being very strict with this policy). Discounts only apply to vendors who do not sell food & beverages.

Benefits: 1) We encourage you to view this as a Marketing Campaign for your business. We will market the Tasting & Early Bird Discounts and participants may receive added promo. 2) The Early Bird Discount encourages guests to come early, optimizing your potential to make sells from start to close of the event. More Customers = More Money FYI: Throughout the event (4-9pm) guests are being encouraged to make general purchases.
