  • CONTEST RULES

    This contest's purpose is to promote the photographic talents of the youth in our area and build awareness of the Optimist Creed (below). Please take a photo that you think best exemplifies one of the lines of the Optimist's Creed. No Photoshopping - only cropping allowed. Only one photo entry allowed per form. DEADLINE for submission is July 22, 2024 at midnight CST. If submitting more than 1 photo (up to 3) please fill out separate form for each photo. Printed entries may be submitted along with a printed form for each, by mailing to Amy Napoli, 7704 Riverview Bend. Dr., Nashville, TN 37221. By submitting this form along with your photo, you give The Bellevue Optimist Club permission to print and/or display your photo in print or digital form. First place winner will receive a $500 cash prize and the winning entry will be sent to the GATEWay District to be judged at the District Level in early August. Photos will be judged by professional photographers in the Bellevue community. Top 10 photos will be displayed on July 30th at 6:00 pm at the Bellevue Community Center, where a "People's Choice" photo will be chosen at a reception for contestants. The People's Choice winner will receive a prize to be determined. All photos must exemplify / represent a tenet of the Optimist's Creed.
