Payment policies

Preferred Payment Methods: E-transfer, cheque, or cash.
Credit Card Payments are subject to a 2.4% credit card processing fee.

Gratuity: A 10% (before tax) charge will be added to all catering orders over $350. Staffed Events requiring Fresh Food Matters staff on-site are subject to an 18% (before tax) gratuity charge.

Additional travel charges may apply for events outside our standard service area or those requiring extended travel time.

Delivery: Delivery fees are determined on a case-by-case basis and are based on location, travel time, and order requirements.

Deposit: Catering orders of $750 or more require a 50% deposit to secure your booking.

Cancellation Policy: Deposits are generally non-refundable, as ingredients, staffing, and production are scheduled specifically for your event. Cancellation requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis depending on the amount of notice provided and any costs already incurred by Fresh Food Matters.
