Montgomery Residents — It’s time to show us your Christmas spirit!
As part of Lone Star Christmas in Montgomery, we’re inviting residents to deck the halls, light up the night and transform their homes into a festive Christmas display.
This year, three anonymous judges, who are not participating in the competition, will visit participating homes on the evening of December 3 to select the Top Three decorated homes.
Judges will score each home on:
⭐ Lone Star Christmas Theme – Texas, Montgomery and Lone Star-inspired Christmas touches
🎄 Creativity & Originality – Unique and imaginative ideas
✨ Overall Presentation – Cohesive and well-designed display
💡 Lighting & Curb Appeal – Nighttime impact and visual appeal
❤️ Christmas Spirit – Festive, welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere
Each home will receive a score based on the judging criteria, with the Top Three overall scores selected as finalists.
🏆 The finalists will be announced by Mayor Sara Countryman during the Light Up the Park event on December 5.
