    Please note that this event form is NOT used for placeholding in the calendar therefore your application will be rejected if there is not enough information. For "BLUE" events, placeholders should already been set at the beginning of the year during the Calendar Planning Session. For "GREEN" events, we ask that you please submit your request to later than 6 weeks prior to your proposed event date to allow sufficient time for processing and advertising. Any external event will be subject to our communications calendar availability.   • Please remember that if you are having a bookstall present at your event, to include postage and handling into your expenses. You may need to consider adding this cost to the price of your books unless you are willing to cover this under a budget that allows for it.

  • Note: For cost of coffee, the general rule is $2.50 per cup of coffee and 50% of expected attendance.

  • Bonfires, mountain biking, jumping castles, motor races, motor rallies, motor speed tests, canyoning, caving, rifle/firearms, shooting, aircraft, hang gliding, parachuting, para gliding, white water canoeing/kayaking/rafting (above class 2 rapids), scuba diving, dune buggies, vertical and horizontal bungee jumping, hot air ballooning,gladiator games, unsupported rock climbing, go-karts, motocross, martial arts or boxing activities. There may be other activities on this list that should be classified as risk that needs to be reported so please use your discretion or ask for help.
