    CAFA’s role in the community and with the families we serve, and our collaboration with community and government partners requires CAFA’s commitment to creating an environment for children that is safe, nurturing, empowering, and that promotes the success of adoptive families and their communities. CAFA’s Code of Conduct requires that there is no form of child abuse, discrimination or inappropriate behavior by CAFA employees or volunteers. Board members are held to high standards of professional and personal conduct and may be required to pass a criminal record and child abuse background check.
