  • Black Girls Run Denver is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment for all participants who identify as Black women, women of color, and those who support our mission. The following Code of Conduct outlines the expectations for behavior and interaction within our community:

     


    1. Respect: Treat all members, volunteers, and participants with respect and dignity, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, ability, or any other characteristic.

    2. Inclusivity: Embrace diversity and inclusivity by welcoming individuals who identify as Black women, women of color, and those who support our mission. Foster an environment where everyone feels valued and included.

    3. Safety: Prioritize the safety and well-being of all participants. Follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided by Black Girls Run Denver organizers and volunteers.

    4. Support: Offer support and encouragement to fellow members during runs, events, and activities. Be mindful of each other’s physical and emotional well-being.

    5. Non-Discrimination: Refrain from engaging in any form of discrimination, harassment, or bullying. Respect the rights and boundaries of others at all times.

    6. Positive Environment: Maintain a positive and uplifting atmosphere during Black Girls Run Denver activities. Avoid negative or harmful behavior that may detract from the experience of others.

    7. Communication: Communicate openly and respectfully with fellow members, volunteers, and organizers. Address any concerns or conflicts in a constructive and proactive manner.

    8. Confidentiality: Respect the privacy and confidentiality of all members. Refrain from sharing personal or sensitive information without consent.

    9. Compliance: Adhere to all rules, regulations, and instructions provided by Black Girls Run Denver organizers and volunteers. Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or expulsion from the organization.

    10. Representing the Organization: As a member of Black Girls Run Denver, strive to represent the organization positively in the community. Uphold the values and mission of the organization in all interactions and activities.

     


    By participating in Black Girls Run Denver activities, you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct and contribute to creating a supportive and inclusive community for all members who identify as Black women, women of color, and those who support our mission.
