MYSTERY in the Spiritual Storm REVEALED!

Today I’m releasing an update regarding the last message I delivered. I received additional insight through another dream, and this important information will shed light on the timing I discussed in the last dream. Today’s message is deep and builds upon the last video, so if you haven’t seen it yet, I encourage you to do so before reading this. I’m also sharing a word of hope I received from the Holy Spirit about the storm we’re facing that reveals the mystery of how and why God plans to storm back.

This dream was simple, but fascinating. In it, my parents and I discovered a pair of white socks that belonged to my paternal great-grandfather, with questions written on them that withstood the test of time. On the right sock, the question was, “Why would Jesus be born in the cold of winter?” and on the left sock, “Is the new James like the old James?” and “Does Solomon sound like himself?”

Intrigued, I set out to solve the mysteries with the Lord’s help. The first scripture He brought to mind was Proverbs 25:2: “It is the Glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings.”

My search led me to some unconventional ideas. But God releases dreams that connect with us personally, and it spoke to me so I would figure out the meaning and understand it.

The timing of Jesus’ birth is widely speculated upon, and years ago I learned Emperor Constantine declared it should be celebrated on December 25. It coincided with the pagan holiday of the winter solstice, and from what I understand, Constantine became a Christian and wanted to use the birth of Christ to replace the pagan celebration. Whether this is true, my research led me to findings that Christ’s actual birth was either in the fall or the spring. Many think his birth and death happened on the same day of Passover—but thirty-three years apart, of course.

I took two things into consideration. First, the bible records angels appearing to shepherds (Luke 2:8-14) announcing the birth of our Savior King, and after researching how shepherds cared for their flocks, they did not take them out of the city to graze at night during the winter—they kept them sheltered and fed close to home. This rules out winter.

The bible records Mary and Joseph traveling to Bethlehem for a census Caesar Agustus decreed (Luke 2:1). If he mandated participation during fall, this would’ve caused severe unrest while people prepared their harvest for winter. It’s likely his decree occurred during spring to avoid upheaval.

Bethlehem was also a place where shepherds cared for and prepared the Passover lamb, so spring would be a fitting time for shepherds to be in the fields. It’s also fitting that Jesus—the ultimate Sacrificial Lamb—would be born in this area. The Spirit bore witness to my revelation of this.

Here's part of the mystery—I believe Christ came in spring, and not the cold of winter. I also believe our adversary is making plans to storm after us in March, and just as Christ came to earth in the spring so long ago to free us from sin and captivity, I believe Jesus plans to storm back at the enemy as the Lion of Judah in all Glory, as our Protector and Shield at this time.

In the last message, I said God rarely provides dates, but He opened my eyes to this incorrect assumption—and I’ll tell you how He did it in a moment.

The next question, “Does the new James sound like the old James?” My first thought was a rumor I learned during the commissioning of the King James translation of the bible; the king inserted his name into the New Testament. So, who is ‘old’ James? My research uncovered the name James can be translated from Hebrew and Greek as Jacob. I believed God wanted me to look at the story of Jacob in the Old Testament. For the ‘new’ James, there is conjecture the King James translation used words describing Jesus as a human king or ruler—ascribing a more commanding and demanding persona for His subjects to revere. The Old Testament Jacob desired God’s presence, and God responded by coming down and blessing him (Genesis 32:22-29). Jacob’s desire to know God opened a path for a deeper relationship between them. I believe God desires us to know He’s not a king who commands and demands from a far, but He wants us to know when we seek Him, He will respond and come to us.

The other question on the sock, “Does Solomon sound like himself?”, underscored this intimacy. In the bible book, Song of Solomon, a heart of love pours out of the pages. I believe God wants us to understand His deep and passionate love for us.

Days later as I read Cindy McGill’s book, What Your Dreams Are Telling You, she described a dream interpretation from Jospeh to Pharoah in the bible about the seven cows and seven grain heads that foretold of a coming famine (Genesis 41). At that exact time, a story came in my social media feed with the title “Joseph’s storehouses found”.

When God shows something twice, you pay attention. I asked the Holy Spirit what this meant, and I immediately homed in on 'seven' representing 'years'. God provided timing in those dreams. He did the same in the other two dreams Joseph interpreted for the baker and cupbearer as well.

Since I questioned the seasons as a representation of time in the last message I shared, I felt God’s Spirit confirming He DID provide timing. In that dream, I highlighted March (or spring) to represent life. But the Holy Spirit is confirming March as a time when Christ will storm forth against the destruction the devil has planned. We still need to pray against those attacks, but God is underscoring He will come in response to our prayers.

It then came to my remembrance that I never looked up the meaning of the symbolism of my great-grandfather and the white socks in my recent dream. The Holy Spirit led me to look at Joseph’s lineage; His great-grandfather was Abraham; who is deemed the “Father” of God’s chosen heritage. Jacob was Joseph’s father and instantly God revealed to my spirit He chose Abraham not because he did anything to seek His favor, but to show His love because Abraham listened and said “yes” to His instruction (Genesis 26:4-5).

God is showing His love, grace, and unmerited favor to us by sending Christ to rescue us once again, not because we earned it, but because we turned our faces toward Him.

Socks also mean a ‘covering’ and white is ‘purity’. I believe it means I am under the spiritual covering of my Heavenly Father through Christ, who made me pure and righteous (2 Corinthians 5:21). He revealed these deep, layered mysteries to me—not because I worked to gain His favor—but because I said “yes” to seek and understand His heart. And because He loves me—loves us—as His heritage (1 Peter 2:9), He does everything for us because of that great love. He shared the timing of March because He loves us and wants us to know He is coming in response to our prayers (Mark 11:24).

Here's a word of hope I heard from the Holy Spirit. God wants to emphasize this is available for all His children who listen and obey. I believe I heard:

“Beloved Daughter of Mine, your soul and spirit cry for justice and righteousness. This is the desperation you feel. Please know, My Dear child, that I AM FEELS this from you and in My own heart for humanity—My people—How I love them!

“I have said a time is coming. THE FLOOD OF MY SPIRIT WILL BE ALL CONSUMING (Hebrews 12:28-29). It will rectify wrongs—because of My love. It will bring families together (Malachi 4:6), fix injustices, bring peace, prosperity, and gifts to those who need it. It is My love and mercy that brings this GRACE to all (Titus 2:11-14).

“Yes, there will be some who do not recognize My love at first. It will manifest as jealousy (toward the righteous) as they go through trying times. The trying times are necessary to uproot evil and wicked programs and establishments that are not of My making. My righteous will have peace, provision, and security during this. And eventually, ALL people will feel the blessing as My power and authority is established in those areas. My blessing is a side effect. For those who humble themselves to Me, they will recognize it as My love.

“I do it all for you, My people. My love is so deep and wide (Ephesians 3:18), and We (the Trinity) have waited for this time. It is here. It is HERE! The gift We receive is the LOVE of Our precious people! They see us, know us, and Our demonstration of love will win their hearts! We come to rescue (2 Peter 2:9), We come to honor (Psalm 91:14-15), We come to BREAK THE CAPTIVES FREE (Luke 4:18)! All because We love you. We LOVE you! We want you to know! Tell My people OUR GREAT LOVE FOR OUR PEOPLE IS BEING POURED OUT! As soon as they see, believe, and accept, the sooner Our love will lift them up out of their pit.

“For those who have believed without seeing (John 20:29), oh the joy we have in store for you! My beautiful bride will be adorned (Ephesians 5:27)! Everyone will know who My righteous are (Romans 8:19)! There will be no mistaking it because of the blessings bestowed! So many will be honored and take their rightful place as my sons and daughters—princes and princesses of My Kingdom—MY CHILDREN, whom I love and RESTORE (Joel 2:25)!

“The enemy has taken so much. He has tried very hard to block My blessings and gain permission for footholds (Ephesians 4:26-27) and territories and has infiltrated because of humanity’s sinful nature, pride, and lust for power (1 Peter 5:8 NKJV).

“But the reign of terror is over! My people have cried out to Me AND WE INTERVENE! You have turned your love and trust to Us and WE WILL HEAL YOUR NATION (2 Chronicles 7:14) AND YOUR HURTS (Jeremiah 33:6). WE HAVE NOT CAUSED THIS CHAOS AND CORRUPTION. The enemy’s infiltration caused the destruction. WE COME IN LOVE TO RESCUE (Colossians 1:13-14 MSG) AND RESTORE (Zechariah 9:12). IT IS ONLY OUR POWER AND MIGHT THAT CAUSES BREAKTHROUGH FOR YOU (Micah 2:13).

“No longer will ‘God’ be an ominous afterthought. We will be a very present help in danger (Psalm 46:1) and EVERYONE WILL KNOW IT AND RECOGNIZE OUR POWER AND AUTHORITY. PEOPLE WILL HAVE REVERENTIAL FEAR AGAIN. NOT because We have a commanding and demanding nature—NO! Because of our deep and PASSIONATE LOVE TO RESCUE OUR CHILDREN! TO FORM OUR FAMILY! We want captives free. Get out of the oppression and come to Me, the Trinity. We love, We rescue, We provide, We restore—because We ADORE OUR CHILDREN. We planned this time because the enemy ran rampant. But We come to restore and adore our bride. Because WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH, Our love cannot be stopped. It cannot be measured (Ephesians 3:14-20). We will never stop pursuing you (Ezekiel 34:11). Our existence and EVERYTHING WE DO IS BECAUSE WE LOVE AND SERVE YOU. It is Our honor—it is because of Our love for you, that We do, what We do.”

Having God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit speak in unity that way underpins the message about our heritage, how God loves and cares for us. Not only that, how He STILL SPEAKS to us. He wants to be our ever-present help in trouble. He speaks to us in dreams and throughout His Word, we just need to be willing to listen (Hebrews 12:25).

So, as a follow up on the last message, I’m letting you know there is confirmation of the timing I spoke about. God will storm against the enemy in March. And for those of you who aren’t under the covering of Christ, there is no better time to accept Him than now.

COLLISION in the Spiritual Storm!

God Counters the Devil's Destruction!

This recent series: Spiritual Storm, underscores how the enemy is most likely regrouping after the election loss (when I say enemy I’m referring to Satan and his demons) and God’s people need to remain vigilant. Believers need to strengthen themselves in the presence of Christ and continue to press forward with God’s plans and purposes at this hour. It is imperative the body of Christ continues building each other up and stays in unity, so no matter what the enemy tries storming us with, we’ll maintain our peace and pray for victory in every circumstance.

This leads to a dream I had back on October 14th, 2024, of a strange storm-like event. People see it, panic, and run for cover. Today, I’ll discuss the significance of what the Holy Spirit revealed about it and share an insightful word I received to provide encouragement.

In the dream, I lived in the city—it resembled New York. The streets bustled with people going to work, talking on the phone, perusing stores, or searching for entertainment. My front door was open and only the glass storm door separated me from the noisy sidewalk. I witnessed people looking up and freezing in their spot. It frightened everyone so much, those that noticed our door was open, busted in. To barge in like that, I knew they needed protection from something, so I let them in.

I went out front to see what appeared, and dark—almost black storm clouds swirled above. The sky seemed more menacing than anything else before, and the front formation of clouds clustered into what appeared to be the devil’s face as the storm barreled in. By revelation, I knew Satan himself was coming with a vengeance and bringing a storm like we’ve never faced.

Light gray circular clouds dotted the opposite end of the sky, but after closer inspection, it formed clusters of people’s faces contorted in horror as they tried dispersing and hiding from the onslaught coming toward them.

Afraid someone would let my dog run loose as people poured inside, I charged to the back of the house to search for him. I found him in the backyard and snowflakes covered his back and 4 inches of snow blanketed the ground outside. I believe this indicated the passage of time, and people still took refuge in my home.

I then went to get groceries from the store connected to my house, making gathering supplies convenient and simple. Fresh produce bulged in heaps and shelves were stocked full of necessities. Everything remained organized and I assumed this meant riots and shortages never occurred.

Back at home, I looked out the front glass door across the street into a bar with their door propped open, and I could see inside. The decor was green—the carpet, walls, and bar stools. I thought it could be St. Patrick’s Day, but no patrons drank or lounged anywhere—it was completely empty! Then the dream ended.

In the dream book I reference, Understanding The Dreams You Dream, by Ira Milligan, a home equates to the heart, and by allowing people entry into my house, I offered them the heart of God and showed His love by caring for them.

Since winter equates to dormancy and death, I pondered this with the Lord, and I felt in my spirit that winter represented the time before the death and destruction the enemy desired to bring. But God will pour out His Spirit once again (Joel 2:28) to counter these attacks and people will take shelter in God’s love as they looked for comfort and peace to fill their hearts during this tumultuous time.

Since the bar didn’t have specific St. Patrick Day decorations—I believe the green depicted life, or rebirth. It seemed people no longer wanted to carouse in bars. They were thirsty for what God poured out—abundant and eternal life through Christ.  

It wasn’t clear if the snow referred to the seasons, but I believe it has to do with life and death and not so much the transition from winter into spring—but this is my opinion. It could represent the natural seasons too, so after a desolate winter and a time of purging into purity (since snow represents purification), life will emerge once again in the spring. However, the dream clearly reveals the devil’s wishes to usher in death and destruction, but God desires us to come to Him and accept His love through Christ so He can provide peace, protection, and provision during the storming of the enemy.

This will be a season where the enemy tries attacking us mercilessly, and this will drive many people into God’s arms. Whatever happens, it will be the Lord’s work to counteract and overcome the evil the adversary tries to bring. When most bars spill over with drunkards on St. Patrick’s Day—the appearance of the empty bar could signify when God pours out His Holy Spirit (Acts 2:33), the people will choose to take solace in Christ, rather than drowning their sorrows in a cramped and stale bar.

God sheds light on upcoming seasons (Ecclesiastes 3:1; Matthew 24:32). His Spirit can speak a word or provide signs. We need to engage with God and pay attention to what He’s doing and saying. He speaks to us in our dreams. He speaks to us through His Word because He is active and living. Anyone who says otherwise denies His power (2 Timothy 3:1-5).

We keep hearing about events—where the enemy plans to storm against us, but God is planning His own storm. These messages aren’t meant to bring fear, they’re meant to bring faith. There is always saving grace in God through Christ—no matter who you are, how old you are, what you’ve done, or how unworthy you think you are. You are worthy of His love and His arms are always wide open to you. He will never stop pursuing you.    

That’s why I’d like to follow this up with a word of encouragement I received. After having the vision of Jesus coming as the Lion of Judah, which I released on Christmas Eve, I believe the Lord is emphasizing His zealous love for us, and with it, His Mighty Spirit will come in glory to scoop us up and care for us (Titus 2:11-14). Not only that, when we are seated with Christ, we have His protection and the benefit of His power and authority.

Here’s what I believe I heard:

“Continue to storm the nation—the WORLD—with your prayers. The time of fasting and prayer is here. My saints are storming forward, driving the enemy out! My righteous will take their rightful place! Out with the wicked and DOWN with witchcraft. Those witches will be NO MATCH FOR MY SAINTS WHO NOW KNOW HOW TO WEILD THE SWORD OF MY WORD!

“Tell the others who must learn this practice that speaking MY WORDS MAKES MOUNTAINS MOVE (Matthew 17:20)! Tell them to clothe themselves in My Son’s righteousness and whatever they ask for in His name—which is MY WORD—I will do (John 14:13)! I will give it! It is the Word that is accomplished! NOT FLESHLY DESIRES! Receive this revelation! It is a GAME CHANGER for My people to pray and accomplish what MUST BE DONE AT THIS HOUR!

“The honor is Mine to work through you (Hebrews 2:4)! Do you see? My children show trust and love toward Me by doing this (Acts 14:3)! How can I NOT be honored by this? They worship Me by the Word—Jesus is in it! He accomplishes it! It exalts My Son to MOVE AND PERFORM WHAT IS SPOKEN (Mark 16:17-20).

“MY WORD ACTIVATES! MY WORD EXHONORATES! IT PROVIDES SUPERNATURAL BREAKTHROUGHS IN SUPERNATURAL WAYS! Jesus IS the WORD (John 1:1). The WORD is My Power—the Power to save! Use it! You have the power! It is the weapon I give you (Ephesians 6:17; 2 Corinthians 10:4)! My Son is the answer to ALL THINGS on earth and in heaven!”

This revelation is powerful. If you speak the Word of the bible, it IS Jesus Christ, who goes before you to accomplish His purposes. God’s word never fails—He will always do what He says He will do (Isaiah 55:11).

If we lean on this and believe it (Proverbs 3:5-6), speaking bible verses accomplishes MUCH in the spiritual and natural realm! God works through us to bring on earth what it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10) as we speak His Word! It is the power of Christ breaking through in the natural with His supernatural power.

Sometimes, in the dark hours of the night, in the cold of winter, it’s tough. It’s hard to keep waking up and staying motivated to fight the good fight when everything around us is chaotic. I have another word of inspiration to share with you because you aren’t alone in this.

“Your adversary makes the road look tempting, easy, and glamourous. It’s a slow decline—the path wide—because many are on it (Matthew 7:13). People say, ‘Everybody else does it. Why can’t I? It can’t be that bad if so many people are doing it, right?’ But, My dear, the right path is not easy. And it’s hard to see because it’s less traveled.

“Sometimes you’re alone, traveling ONLY with Me—forging your own path in faith. The path is narrow and thick with overgrowth from the natural world around it, which makes it dark. But if you stay close to Me, you will have a lamp upon your feet—for I light the way (Psalm 119:105). You will have My sword to swing at the natural world blocking your way, and the rest of My armor protects you from any evil that attacks you (Ephesians 6:11-18), and it will be much.

“The lion and the cobra lie in wait—but I have given you all the power and authority to trample them in My Son, Jesus Christ (Psalm 91:13; Luke 10:19). Do not forget this, for wide and easy is the path that leads to destruction, but narrow is the way of righteousness into My Kingdom, and few find it.

“Stay on the right path, My child. You are NOT alone. Not only is I AM with you—it is Us—the Trinity. We lead you on the path to eternity. Not only that, if you stay close to Us, in Our presence you will have life and pleasures forevermore (Psalm 16:11). Starting now and then forever more! (Psalm 125:2).”

The Lord has not deceived us. He tells us in this broken and fallen world we WILL have trouble (John 16:33). And the Holy Spirit is warning of a time when things will happen—and it may not be large scale, it could be in our individual lives—where the enemy will come against us.

Jesus is the answer. God is clear about this in all His messages. So, if we stay in Christ’s presence, we can take heart because He has overcome the world. And when we wield the weapon He gives us—Christ, the Word—we are overcomers with Him in all of life’s storms.

A Spiritual Storm is RAGING!

Which Side Are You On?

A few weeks ago I started a new series titled, Spiritual Storm, to underscore that while we’ve experienced momentary victories, we must continue to stand strong and press forward while the enemy scampers into the shadows and attempts to form more evil plans.

Today, I’m sharing Part 2, The Storm RAGES, which includes a sinister question I overheard from the enemy, a word I believe I received from the Holy Spirit how to deal with it, and a revelation from God about equipping us to storm against the enemy before the devil thinks he can trample us.

I heard the question from the enemy with my physical ears. Most of the time I don’t hear this way, I hear in the spirit. This was new, so I brought it to God.

In the middle of the night, I heard a voice ask, “Can I is this?”

It woke me up. My husband was sleeping, my children weren’t in the room—yet I heard it clear as day. After seeking the Lord, here’s what I believe it meant. The evil spirit’s disembodied voice was asking its master if it could “possess” me. The word is is a state of being, and since wicked spirits don’t view humans as people—but as objects to use for their sinister purposes—when it referred to this, it meant me. It asked to possess me.

God’s Spirit revealed we are under His protection as believers in Christ. Even though the enemy is relentless in his mission to attack and take as many people as he can into the kingdom of darkness, this question proved two things. First, if we belong to God through Christ, satan can’t have us. Second, that doesn’t stop the devil from continuing to tempt us to gain a foothold in our lives (Ephesians 4:25-29) and remove us from God’s protection.

Temptation can be an idea, a dream, or a thought planted. If we latch onto the tempation and carry it out, it’s no longer a temptation, it’s a sin. At that point, we make a conscious decision to come out of the protection of God. If we sin without repentance, we allow the enemy control, and he has permission to oppress and torment us. The good news is we can give it to God whenever we want. We stop doing it, repent, and Christ’s blood wipes it clean when we ask Him to forgive us.

I’m sharing this with you because the spiritual battle over your soul is constant. Satan has thousands of years of experience and knows human weaknesses. But if we take every thought captive under Christ and proceed how He would (2 Cor. 10:5)—it saves us a lot of heartache and pain the enemy would try to bring. This is a reminder we need always to remain on guard.

Here’s a powerful word I believe I heard from the Lord. The timing feels imperative if anyone wants to move with God at this hour and be part of His plans.

I believe I heard:

"Time is growing short. You must work on the release of MY STORM THAT IS COMING IN OPPOSITION TO THE ENEMIES STORMING. The people need to know what’s happening in the spiritual realm; beyond what they see, FOR THEY WILL FEEL THE WEIGHTINESS OF THE BATTLE AROUND THEM AND WONDER WHY THEIR SPIRIT IS STIRRED, RESTLESS, SHAKY, OR TIMID.

“FOR UNBELIEVERS AND THOSE WHO REJECT ME WILL SHAKE. THOSE WHO KNOW ABOUT ME BUT ARE AFRAID OF WHAT TO DO, WILL BE TIMID BUT MUST MAKE A CHOICE! THOSE WHO FEEL RESTLESS ARE THOSE WHO SEEK TO KNOW ME ON DEEPER LEVELS AND MUST MAKE A CHANGE—MOVE INTO MY SPIRIT—leave certain denominations or thought patterns of restriction—AND COME WITH ME. THERE IS NO STAYING ON THE FENCE.

"There is no such thing as living with Me for an hour on Sunday and no other part of the week. I do NOT SHARE CUSTODY WITH THE WORLD. YOU ARE MINE (John 17:20-23)! MY CHILD (Galatians 3:26)! I WANT TO GIVE YOU ALL THINGS, BUT YOU DO NOT EVEN TALK TO ME, YOUR FATHER (James 1:17)!

“Realize what you’ve missed without Me! Realize what you’re missing! Choose Me with YOUR WHOLE HEART, MIND, SPIRIT AND SOUL (Mark 12:30)! I want you to come to ME so WE can go places you’ve never dreamed about because they are MORE THAN YOU EVER WISHED FOR (Ephesians 3:20)! And those of you who are STIRRED… YOU! YOU ARE THE ONES THAT JOIN ME! YOU’VE BEEN READY! YOU’VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS TIME! OUR TIME! WHEN THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN STORMS THE EARTH! It is OUR TIME! IT WILL BE MAGNIFICENT! UNPARRALLED TO ANY OTHER TIME! IT’S HERE! IF YOUR HEART IS STIRRED, STEP OUT IN FAITH AND DO WHAT I HAVE CALLED YOU TO DO! I AM WITH YOU! I HONOR YOU! YOU ARE CHOSEN FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS!

“Whatever has been in your heart was planted by ME. It has grown, and it’s time for its birth—it’s time to sprout. I will water, nurture, and feed it (1 Cor. 3:6-9). The idea conceived in your heart and mind because I trusted you to partner with Me to bring it to pass. You have been trained; you are ready to step forth in faith (2 Cor. 5:7) and I will bless it! Go! Go now! My hungry, parched, and dying world needs it!”

That word came the morning of November 8th, after we settled into Trump’s election victory. Hearing it reminded me that the enemy NEVER stops pursuing his opponents. It seems to get worse before it gets better. So, every believer must be on guard during the transition into the position God has for you—no matter the task.

I received a revelation about the four categories people will find themselves in. They stem from two overarching ones: those who call themselves believers and those who don’t. The unbelievers who shake during this time are those who rejected God, and nothing will change their minds.

The unbelievers God refers to as timid are people who recognize His power and authority, but they’re fearful to accept and follow Christ—whether they feel they’re unworthy or their friends or community will judge or ridicule them. Their fear keeps them from embracing God. But the Holy Spirit asks this day to choose (Joshua 24:15).

God went into detail about believers. The restless are those who call themselves Christians but don’t have a relationship with Him. How can they if they spend only an hour a week with Him and do not seek Him any other time? These are the ones who feel restless because intimacy is missing, and God’s telling them to change their ways and draw closer to Him.

The last one, those who feel stirred, they are the ones who have established a deep relationship with God, sitting in His presence, and move where His Spirit leads. This message adds fuel to the fire to continue that path. The Lord has special instruction for you, but before getting to that, the Holy Spirit wants everyone to know they can become part of this group and step into their divine purpose and destiny any time they want. If people choose to seek God with their whole heart, mind, body, soul, and spirit, He will lead you into it. If you aren’t receptive to God’s direction (Hebrews 3:7-8), you’re an open target for the enemy to ensnare. It’s your choice if you want out of that vicious cycle.

For those ready and willing to step into the future God has for you, this revelation came from the book of Daniel. Though enemies ripped him from his home, killed his parents and family, and forced him into slavery, he remained obedient to God.

Although his situation doesn’t compare to ours, I believe the Holy Spirit is saying we’ve been under similar oppression without realizing it. A lot is coming to light about harmful chemicals in our food, water, land, and air, the safety, and efficacy of medicines and vaccines, infringements with our constitutional rights—anywhere from how we raise our kids, censoring free speech, or how we exercise our beliefs. I believe God is answering our prayers, and the storm He’s bringing will address the overreach of ungodly policies and practices created, promoted, or kept in place.

Just like Daniel leaned into God when the darkness surrounded him, we need to do the same. We must remain in His presence and continue following Him and allowing His Spirit to work in us and through us (Mark 16:20). Daniel sought the Lord diligently, despite everything he saw and heard and had faith that God would turn it around. Like Daniel, we don’t sit idle. Daniel learned and served. We stand in the face of evil and put faith in action. We follow the Holy Spirit and continue to rise and shine—now more than ever (Isaiah 60:1).

Daniel lived his entire life under the service of a foreign king who took him and his friends captive. Our fight is not over—it still rages. We held our ground, but now it’s time to take back what was stolen by the devil.

How did Daniel succeed? First, he ‘purposed in his heart’ or ‘decided in advance’ what his convictions for the Lord would be, which helped him avoid compromise. Fear of the Lord keeps fear of others in perspective—which is a key to resisting temptation and compromise. He had conviction and confidence in who God is, which gave him courage to remain faithful to the Lord despite his leader’s efforts to brainwash and immerse him in their culture. Even though he learned a new language and received a new name, Daniel remembered the Lord in his heart.

People who don’t compromise God’s will command the attention of the devil. But more importantly, anyone in the will of God is under God’s protective custody. So even when the decree to kill the wise men went out—a ploy of satan to kill Daniel and his friends—Daniel remained level-headed and took time to seek the Lord. God’s people are NOT impulsive.

Impulse is NOT of God (Proverbs 21:5). Wise people take time to seek the Lord’s council. And when Daniel received it, he never took the credit—he made it a point to tell the king, “There is a God in heaven who reveals secrets” (Daniel 2:28).

We would do well to follow Daniel’s example. The enemy surrounded him but he acted as a citizen of heaven. The enemy may not be physically terrorizing us, but a spiritual war is raging, and our success and future depend on how much we trust God.

As you view the activities unfolding in the world around you, how does your spirit feel? Is it stirred, restless, shaky, or timid? Identify which camp you’re in, then move forward according to the direction the Lord provided. It’s time to make a choice, a change, or storm forward with Christ!

The best defense is a great offense. In the times ahead, we don’t just want to stand our ground; we want to take it BACK from the enemy. Christ goes before us (Micah 2:13), and when we allow the power of the Holy Spirit to work in us and through us, we are unstoppable! As we stand under the shadow of Almighty God (Psalm 91:1 NKJV), nothing is impossible (Luke 1:37)!

The Spiritual Storm is HERE!

JOIN THE RANKS!

Let’s start this year with a BANG and storm 2025 with renewed energy and focus in the POWER and AUTHORITY of Christ! Today is the release of a new series titled Spiritual Storm, which includes dreams, visions, and encouraging messages to keep us in the fight by reminding us that Christ goes before us.

While the righteous stormed forth over the last few years to stand firm in biblical beliefs and elected God's anointed for president, the body of Christ needs to keep going. We celebrate the victory, but we need to keep our guard up while the enemy slinks back into the shadows to regroup and is likely planning more sinister plots to ensnare us.

We cannot allow those plans to come to fruition—we need to continue standing firm in Christ to guard the territory we gained and keep moving forward to take back EVERYTHING that was lost or stolen by the enemy and put our Lord and Savior at the center of everything. Our society needs healing, freedom, and God’s plans and purposes in place, so our country thrives, and everyone receives the blessings Christ provides. Therefore, we storm forth!

In part one today, I’m sharing a dream I received back in June 2023 about how the enemy is planning his own storm, and a word I believe I heard from the Holy Spirit to encourage us to continue the good fight. God not only goes with us, He goes before us (Micah 2:13 NIV)! It contains valuable instruction to stay vigilant and overcome the enemy—in every attack.

In the dream, people all around were preparing for an event—a race. In my mind, I knew I ran it in the past—Dances with Dirt—held in Hell, Michigan. I saw people from my past—classmates and colleagues. Back then, I would guess all were unbelievers, but this was different. A shift occurred, and many accepted Christ. Since I already ran the race, I prepared to give them a pep-talk to help with their training, for what they were to endure would need persistence, perseverance, and knowing how to trust God every moment, every day.

As I walked toward them, an ominous shadow cast over everything—as if night sprang upon us. Everyone looked up. Black clouds amassed, unveiling an event unlike any other—not a storm, but something else. Panic seized the people, and they forgot the race. Everyone focused on the encroaching darkness.

Not afraid, I walked around telling people, “This is not the end!”. Flashes of light zipped through the night and people cried “Aliens!”. The objects streaked across the sky, mimicking shooting stars, yet proved to be unfamiliar aircraft. I knew immediately by revelation it wasn’t from outer space. I tried explaining to everyone it was a lie. It was not alien, but demonic.

I approached a group of three strangers, who were discussing what it meant—they seemed petrified. In my peripheral vision, I saw a dark shape that had a ghastly purplish-blue glow move across the lawn into the street. By revelation, I knew a demon possessed the creature. I had discernment to see this in the spiritual realm, and I explained that to the group. Once I did, the beast gazed directly at me, snarled, and charged! 

I yelled, “In the name of Jesus, I render you blind, deaf, dumb, and paralyzed!”

The creature stopped, no longer glowed, and the entity no longer possessed it. The three people were astounded—in complete awe. I explained Jesus Christ is the only one Who can do this, and defeat whatever darkness arrived. They seemed receptive, but others who didn’t see or hear what happened with the beast screamed and ran in panic. The dream ended after that.

What I believe the Holy Spirit revealed is this; we are running a race of faith. For those of us who have been running it, we can help train and equip others, but only a portion of believers will readily embrace it. We must pray that more Christians surrender to the power of the Holy Spirit so God can work in us and through us to subdue the enemy. We should also pray that people awaken to God’s active presence in their lives to overcome any fear they have. By submitting to Jesus Christ, His power and authority overcomes every evil we encounter (Luke 10:19).

In the dream, the three strangers seemed relieved when I told them what defeats the enemy. The scene was scary, dark, and confusing, so it may represent a time in the future when people might think something different is happening (aliens—in the dream) so we need to understand the underlying force at work is demonic, and only Jesus has the power and authority to overcome it. If you are a believer, stand firm in this truth and He can work in you and through you to prevail (1 John 5:5).

In conjunction with this dream, the Spirit prompted me to release the word below. 

When I received it, my son ran through the house with excitement. His favorite soccer team scored a goal on TV, and I heard the pitter-patter of his feet echo through the walls. I received this back in August 2024, and believe the Lord said,

"Do you hear your son’s feet? He moves with excitement! All My children shall soon do the same! ALL of them! This is NOT the sound of ominous marching—for behind the scenes you have warred against your adversary, and it is time to see his demise. He raised opposition but My church was/is stronger, and now WE rise above it all. My children who are seated with Me, will receive the benefits.

“The war is NOT won, but the battle is—the current one. My people will rejoice! Celebrate! (I believe this part referred to the election).

“There will be a time coming when you know you have the victory in Me and the celebration will go on for days, but evil slinks back in the shadows to recoup strength and plan. He has done this through the ages. But all current plans are destroyed. All current lies; exposed. I SEE TO IT THIS IS DONE. You watch! You see! IT CAN ONLY BE ME!

“There is a time and a season for everything (Ecclesiastes 3:1). This next season is a celebration. I give My people peace for a time. BUT DO NOT LET YOUR GUARD DOWN… for the enemy prowls about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8 NKJV) and when complacency happens, his plans for captivity thrive.

“Remember, this is a single battle won, but his war for humanity STILL RAGES. I DO THIS EVENT TO SHOW MY PEOPLE WHO I AM IS! The God of the Universe and all creation! The Father and Creator of humanity Who loves and wants His children back! I do NOT like them in slavery to sin and in service to satan. I do not like seeing them confused and confounded when in captivity. It breaks My heart when the devil infiltrates My people’s hearts and minds with lies, and kills, steals, and destroys their futures! (John 10:10 NIV)

“KNOW THIS MY PEOPLE! WHAT I HAVE FOR YOU IS GOOD! PLANS NOT TO HARM YOU! PLANS THAT GIVE YOU HOPE AND A GOOD FUTURE! PLANS TO PROSPER YOU! (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV)

“THE ONLY REASON YOU ARE IN ANY PAIN OR HOPELESSNESS IS BECAUSE OF SIN—A TEMPTING TRAP INITIATED BY SATAN! Of course it looks good. He preys on your desires. He plants thoughts that are not yours, so you accept them like they are your own… plans that harm you and others. He is sick, twisted, disgusting, and perverted.

“So, if any thought or dream comes in that is not pure, lovely, righteous (Philippians 4:8), or aligned to My Word, Reject it! Pray that My Spirit REMOVES the seed from your soul, so it does not grow. Then, stop thinking of it (2 Corinthians 10:5 NIV). For if you accept it—it is planted. Every thought waters it, feeds it, and it grows until it breaks through and you act on it (James 1:15 NKJV). A thought is not a sin. Neither is a dream. BUT PROTECT YOUR HEART AND MIND BECAUSE AS SOON AS YOU GIVE IN TO SIN—YOU ARE ENSLAVED BY IT. Satan gained a foothold, and you allowed him to gain territory in your heart and mind (Ephesians 4:26-27 NLT).

“DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN! You can live in joy and peace by giving yourself to ME and MY protection. But this is full surrender with your entire life and EVERYTHING in it. It is all or nothing with Me. You either accept My love, or you don’t. You accept My protection, or you dabble with the devil.

“I tell you now—you, on your own—will not win. He’s been at his schemes for THOUSANDS of years and he knows how to break you, twist you, torment you, and tear you apart. Do not be foolish and think it is you who battles and wins against him. It is I, CHRIST, who goes before you and does it! I HAVE BROKEN THE CAPTIVES FREE FROM HIS GRIP! ONLY WITH MY POWER AND MY AUTHORITY CAN THIS BE DONE! THE BATTLE IS MINE! COME TO ME! For in Me and with Me there is VICTORY! Do not let the enemy slaughter you and your family with sin! For by accepting sin, you accept defeat. The devil then holds you captive by that sin, and you will only have despair and destruction, for he owns your soul if you are without Me.

“THE ONLY WAY TO BREAK FREE IS WITH ME—THE SON OF THE FATHER—JESUS CHRIST. WHO THE SON SETS FREE IS FREE INDEED. (John 8:36 NIV) It is only by ME. In Jesus’ name is the only way to get the devil to buckle. His power perishes the moment My name is spoken over a situation. The blood of the Lamb sears him and he scatters and scampers away like a wounded dog. The only one who can defeat the devil is CHRIST ALONE. Give your battles to Me. Rest in My love. Restore yourself in My hope and peace. Labor toward the future I have for you because it is NO WORK at all—for I have done it (Matthew 11:28).

“If you surrender to Me and trust Me—put your faith in Me—oh, true abundant life you will have (John 10:10b)! Escape from your bondage now. You know what to do. I AM here waiting to pick you up and rescue you. Once you are in My hands—no one—not ANYTHING can snatch you out (John 10:28)!!! This is not a mystery. My word tells you how to have victory…” (1 Corinthians 15:57 NIV)

Repenting for our sins and believing that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who sacrificed Himself to save us from our sins, who rose back to life and now sits at the right hand of God the Father, is the mystery revealed. He then sent His Spirit to live in us, giving us all power, strength, and authority to be His hands and feet to bring on earth how it is in Heaven (Matthew 6:10). It is the belief and confession that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior, and if you ask the Holy Spirit to live in your heart, He gives you the protection and provision just mentioned.

Other than that, I believe His message is clear and needs no commentary from me. However, you can take this to the Lord and ask Him to expound or clarify it. Otherwise, I’ll leave it there because we’ve got work to do!

THE KING IS HERE!

CHOOSE THIS DAY WHOM YOU WILL SERVE!

Today I’m concluding the Heart of the Matter series with Part 8, “The Obedient Heart”, where I recount an incredible vision the Lord imparted to me to the likes I’ve NEVER experienced before, and how it relates to the FLOOD of God’s Spirit that’s coming. Visions have been rare—I’m more likely to hear from God, and not see, so I’m eager to share this! It had several parts, broken out by words of revelation from His Spirit, and it’s extremely powerful, but it’s a couple minutes longer than usual. I’m not releasing anything next week, so I hope this incredible vision will carry you through the next couple of weeks.

As I worshiped God one morning meditating on Psalm 95, I read verses 8-11 and saw King Jesus. His eyes blazed with determination as he rode his white horse. In my mind, I heard, “He comes for the saints.” The eyes of the horse were ablaze also, and it moved with such force and power the ground shook. The thunderous pounding and speed increased, causing the hooves to streak with fire. Around and around His saints, Jesus rode until a towering pillar of flames surrounded them, reaching up like a cyclone to heaven—with no end in sight. The tunnel—impenetrable to anything in the surrounding atmosphere.

I hear, “Though they saw My work in the wilderness—the pillar of fire before them through the darkness and many other wonders—their hearts went astray! DO NOT BE LIKE THAT GENERATION! For if this generation DOES NOT BELIEVE,” says the LORD, God Almighty, “They will be lost in the desert—such as that generation. HEAR ME!”

That was the first part. He wanted me to share: Psalm 95:8 NKJV “Do not harden your hearts, as in the rebellion, as in the day of trial in the wilderness,” and Hebrews 3:7-11, “Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: ‘Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, in the day of trial in the wilderness, where your fathers tested Me, tried Me, and saw My works forty years.’ Therefore, I was angry with that generation, and said, ‘They always go astray in their heart, and they have not known My ways.’ So, I swore in My wrath, ‘They shall not enter My rest.’” He underscored verse 12 (NIV): “See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.”

The Spirit brought me to Samuel—showing this was another time where sin and wickedness ran rampant in the world, even in the church (1 Samuel 2:12 NKJV) so the word of the Lord was scarce (1 Samuel 3:1). He revealed this is a parallel time. Today’s church is in a lull—sleeping—unaware of the power and plans of the Holy Spirit. But God is NOT silent—He still speaks. It’s time to listen, for He wants to partner with us in His plans and purposes.

Then the vision continued as I read Psalm 91:1-5. I found myself in the throne room, a powerful lion paced before the throne. Suddenly King Jesus stood, full stature crowned and robed in kingly garments. Fire swirled in the background and his robe billowed with the pulsing heat. He stood firm—magnificent and undeterred by the barrage of bullets and fire from the bombs that exploded. He didn’t move or blink. The scene was so marvelous and intense I could do nothing else but fall to my knees right there and worship Him.

After reading verses 5-10, I saw myself a GIANT—the size of a mountain, and the wicked the size of ants.

King Jesus said,

“I dwell in you. It is I who has the power to trample on the lions, cobras, and serpents. For I live in you.”

That was the first time God peeled back the spiritual veil and showed me how I appeared in the spiritual realm—as all His saints do.

He continued,

“WE ARE NO MATCH FOR THE ENEMY AS TOGETHER WE CAN SQUASH THEM LIKE A BUG!”

To clarify, He’s not speaking about people. He’s talking about demonic forces.

This was the first time I saw Jesus in this manner—The King of the Armies of Heaven. As the commander. The most I had seen of Him in that regard was a vision of Him dressed for battle in knightly armor. All other times, He portrayed Himself as a friendly, caring, kind, concerned, and gentle Savior, but this—THIS WAS THE LION OF JUDAH.

And as I read 91:14-16, I was back in the throne room. I could hear Father God, but I only saw His large hand pointing and His deep voice boomed,

“Because you have set your love upon Me, therefore I will deliver you; I will set you on high, because you have known My name, you shall call upon Me, and I will answer you; I will be with you in trouble; I will deliver you and honor you. With long life I will satisfy you and show you My salvation.

“Tell My people! Tell all My saints I surround them with My hedge of protection! They have NOTHING TO FEAR! For if I DWELL IN THEM—if they have sought Me, to hear Me, and follow Me (Proverbs 8:17) —they too, are made giants in the spirit! There is NOTHING IMPOSSIBLE FOR THEM (Matthew 19:26) IF MY SON AND SPIRIT DWELL WITHIN THEM!

“TELL MY PEOPLE! If they bow to Me, they are free to rule and reign in the power of God Almighty!”

Then His Spirit wanted me to read Ephesians 3:14-21; “For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”

And Ephesians 3:8-12, “…I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ; to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.”

Through His church, He is releasing the manifold wisdom of Christ. This is a mystery revealed. Ask God for understanding how to partner with Him and accomplish the purposes you can to fulfill with this knowledge. Anyone who hears this message can choose to listen and obey. Rise to receive your inheritance—let us work together in Christ to defeat the adversary!

For so long, the world portrayed our Lord Jesus as a sandal-wearing fellow that avoids confrontation. We need to shift from that perspective and not see Him as the world does—let us view Him in the power, light, and glory I just described. He comes riding to rescue and protect His saints. Christ creates a pillar of fire around you, shielding you with the protection of His Holy Spirit. His Spirit is preparing us for a time when we—His saints—to operate in His power and authority, the way He needs us to.

Change is coming. He is flooding the earth with His Spirit. Which brings me to the last part, where I believe He spoke of this time. This is from August and the first word is more revelatory than spoken. It says, 

“The waters of Ezekiel are the depth of God’s holiness—you can always choose to go deeper with Him. When His Spirit comes and floods the earth (as the time he speaks about in Joel 2:28-29), He brings His Glory with Him—God's character comes with Him. It is part of Him and it cannot be separated.

“Therefore, those who encounter Him who are not covered by the blood of His Son, they cannot stand. They will sink and not swim. Those who are seated with Christ and stay focused and obedient will not only swim, but they also rise above the flood. These are the righteous remnant that will WALK ON WATER AS LONG AS THEIR GAZE IS FIXED ON JESUS.”

Here is the other word I believe I received.

“My Dear Beloved Shannon, KEEP YOUR EYES ON ME! This will be tumultuous times! The FLOOD of My Spirit is coming! YOU, AND THOSE WHO FOLLOW ME—IF ALL KEEP THEIR EYES ON ME, WILL NOT TUMBLE INTO THE DEPTHS BUT WILL RISE ABOVE IT! AGAIN, YOU ARE SEATED WITH ME AND WILL WALK ON WATER! You will not drown nor will you tirelessly tread, for you will REST in My presence if you lean on Me!

 “Many, many will be lost and flailing. Give My words of encouragement. Tell them to take anchor in My Son. The words will be like sweet music, and they will be drawn to it. But some—before turning their ears to hear—will be drowning, gasping for breath and life and will only turn their heads because they can no longer fight the current… they’ll either give up and accept defeat and death, but MOST will realize I AM the Only Way out! If they cry out to Me, I will meet them where they are and gather them into My hands and close to Me. I will hide them and provide for them—forever keeping them from the enemy’s clutches so long as they seek Me and My will for them because what I have for them is GOOD.

“Do not fear, for I AM near—just a prayer away. But My people MUST engage Me. They MUST choose Me. They must realize they are here because I created their being, their body, they are hand-picked by Me for SUCH A TIME AS THIS. The appointed time. HEAVEN HAS BEEN WAITING FOR IT! Earth does not know, but the Spirit GROANS for it!

“Changes are coming! Many of them! This WORLD will look different, operate differently, and My righteous remnant will take their place—AT THE TOP! Governing, teaching, and leading! My people rise and take their rightful place. They band together. One mind, in unity in Christ Jesus. He is the ONLY WAY. Through Him is the path to life and life abundant. Never forget it. For this world will try to pull you into its regular cycles and standard formats. DO NOT LISTEN! DO NOT CONFORM. FOR IT IS I AM WHO DOES A NEW THING! AND MY WAY IS THE ONLY WAY FORWARD. If you want a place in this new future, you better seek Me so I can lead you to your place in it!”

His Spirit also provided this revelation:

“Do not conform to the culture. Seek the Lord and His path forward! A thousand may fall at your side but it will not come near you!" (Psalm 91:7)  

I received these words of knowledge 3 months prior to the vision, but God weaved it together in His perfect timing.

Christ is reminding us He didn’t stay a baby when He came into this world. He grew into a man and preached that the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Today, He wants us to know where He is seated—at the right hand of God the Father in glory. Jesus is God the Son, raised up as the King of the armies of Heaven, in all strength and power. He’s releasing God, His Holy Spirit, to flood the earth. Just because we can’t see Him sitting on the throne doesn’t mean He isn’t there. He doesn’t want us to forget who He is, the God of the Universe, All-Knowing, The Creator of all things Who knows everything and is everywhere all the time. He is the Beginning and the End, The Alpha, and the Omega. Jesus is God Almighty.

Folks? The King is Here—Choose this Day whom you will serve.

HAVE COURAGE AND CONFIDENCE

DURING THE CHAOS!

Today I’m continuing with the Heart of the Matter series with part 7 “The Humble Heart”, with an incredible lesson from the life of King David and a discussion of a strange dream about defeating the ‘strong man’. I'm also providing an interesting word I believe the Holy Spirit released about trust and belief that is sure to empower you to live in Christ's grace.

Sometimes we see chaos around us and wonder where God is. We have a God of order (1 Corinthians 14:33) and must remember He is not the cause. The only reason the enemy runs rampant is because people allowed him to (Ephesians 2:2). Satan is the prince of the power air since Adam and Eve gave their authority over to him (Ephesians 2:2) when they believed his deception (Luke 4:6-7), and he’s been at work ever since honing his skills for thousands of years figuring out what easily ensnares humanity (John 8:44).

We face battles every day. The devil seeks to wear out God’s saints (Daniel 7:25a), so how do we stay alert and strengthened to fight? We take shelter in Christ, wear the armor he’s given us, then—and here’s the important part—give the battles to God. If you fight in the flesh, you will fail. If you fight with the power and presence of the Lord, you will prevail.

King David did this consistently. Do you think he knew how long it would take from Samuel’s anointing of him as king to his recognition as such? The anointing put God’s presence and purpose on him, and he leaned on it because soon after he defeated a lion and a bear (Samuel 17:34-36). Within a year or two, his confidence in the Lord sent him to fight and slay Goliath (1 Samuel 17:46-50). If you read the accompanying scriptures—it’s clear David spent a lot of time with God.

Watching over sheep leaves many hours to ponder, and out of this came most of David’s psalms. He also honed the skills he needed for the next challenges he faced. He didn’t sit idle, nor use human reasoning when deciding to fight Goliath. Otherwise, the ridicule from his brothers and the other soldiers would’ve made him cower in fear. He also didn’t use human methods to defeat the giant by stepping into Saul’s armor. Instead, he stepped out in faith and trusted the living God to fight for him through the skills he gained and honed.

We each have God-given abilities to achieve specific purposes God has for our lives, and we must choose to believe in God’s promises and humble ourselves before the Lord so we can hone those skills and advance in those assignments. If we do, God gives us success during the tests. David not only understood when he needed to rise to an occasion, but how to win. It starts with knowing God, understanding our assignments, honing our skills, and giving the battle to the Lord. 

God continually tests His best (Jeremiah 20:12a ESV). He cares more about their character than their comfort because He needs to make sure they’re ready to handle the important assignments ahead of them (Romans 5:4).

Whether or not you’re following the Lord, you will have trouble (John 16:33). Wouldn’t you rather face it with Him in your corner? Do not be afraid to choose what God has for you—He provides every resource needed for victory (2 Corinthians 9:8). But without Him—without His protection and provision—we end up the devil’s victim (1 Peter 5:8).

God blesses us with success during the test! David went from the sheep pen to the palace, but along the way he remained humble and conducted himself by seeking the wisdom of God in every aspect of his life and with each decision he made. He did not allow success and prosperity to corrupt him by making him proud or turn to foolish gain and fame.

No one knows how many tests will come, or how long the training will last. What we can be sure of is that after God’s anointing, testing happens in the wilderness. It happened to David, and it happened to Jesus (Matthew 4:1-11). Both humbled themselves to God’s wisdom and power and had success.

Many Christians don’t understand their power and authority in Christ. God intended for His Bride, the church, to operate in this manner. The Holy Spirit is teaching me this, and I’m cataloguing my journey to share with you as I learn.

I had a dream back in July I believe pertains to this. In it, a powerful demon possessed 20-year-old man was bound by chains in a backyard. He thrashed and foamed at the mouth, and I tried helping him. He was willing; desperate even. Every time I said, “In Jesus’ name,” I stopped myself before commanding the demon to come out. Instead, I would ask a silly question like “are you ready?”. This occurred several times. Then something happened inside the house that needed attention. Before I got to it, I heard a ruckus outside, and found the young man yanked the chains out of the ground and ran away. He broke free before I helped him, and the demon still possessed him.

I brought it to the Lord, and I believe He said:

“My Dear, you were in fear that My name wouldn’t work. When it comes time to display My power—in real life—out in the open during the daily grind when people go about their business, there is a struggle to maintain authority in Me. It’s there, but doubt inhibits My power. If you want to operate in signs, miracles, and wonders, you must get over this.

“You must choose to TRUST Me fully and completely. What you say and what you believe cannot be different. Get double mindedness under control. By saying and meaning you surrender everything to Me, it is a demonstration of total submission, and it shows others how a person’s heart should be postured for My power to show through. My power is there—it can be released. I just need My people to TRUST, to obey, and operate in BELIEF! Believe that I CAN and AM doing these things! Why should I not heal? Why should I not cast out demons? Why should I not do it through you? Did I not say through My Son you shall do greater things than He? Am I a liar (Numbers 23:19) that I should not mean it, and do it? TRUST ME! It is MY power through you—I do the work. The only thing you need to do is get out of doubt and unbelief! That is the only requirement! Watch Me! Watch what I will do for those in this hour who believe!”

This is strategic direction from the Holy Spirit for this time. He used scripture to confirm what He revealed. The first is James 1:8, which says, “being double minded makes a person unstable in all their ways.” If we don’t fully trust God, we’ll be ineffective. That’s why I couldn’t help the man in the dream. The next: Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” God will lead you where to go and what to do if you allow His power to show through. John 14:12-13 says, “Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.”

The last verse says, “whoever believes”—this doesn’t limit anyone. Everyone can allow the Holy Spirit to work in them and through them to perform signs, miracles, and wonders!

David was successful because he trusted God. He understood how to humble himself so God could work through him to accomplish His purposes.

His Spirit also recalled the time of His people in the wilderness. Hebrews 3:7-8 says, “So, as the Holy Spirit says, ‘Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion during the time of testing in the wilderness.’” Very few made it into the promised land, and why was that? Verse 19 says, “So we see that they were not able to enter, because of their unbelief.”

I released a message a few weeks back that discussed the cross of the wilderness in Exodus. Everyone saw the parting of the Red Sea; everyone went through it. Not only did they see God’s power, but they also experienced it. But even as God’s special people—chosen to occupy the promised land—most of them fell into doubt and unbelief during the wilderness trek.

I believe His Spirit is mentioning this again because the days ahead will require us to have humble hearts and trust in the Lord and His power and wisdom to get through our wilderness. I don’t know what the wilderness will look like. It could be individual circumstances, it could be trouble with our nation, or the world. But the fact is, there will come a time when we need to make a choice. Do we believe God is working in this world, and will we humble ourselves to do His will? If He wants to heal, rescue, and restore, and partner with us, what are we waiting for?

God is always good and desires none of His people to perish. This means all His actions are a powerful display of making His love known to us. He alone knows how to make people realize who He is, how much He loves us, and how much we need Him.

God is not causing the chaos. He is a God of order. He is purposeful, and we need to understand His ways are not like ours and may seem unconventional (Isaiah 55:8). He may use what the enemy planned for destruction, using it for good as He comes in fierce love to bring justice (Genesis 50:20).

Death and destruction are tactics of the enemy. God is always good, so we must understand this clearly before we think He’s allowing disaster upon us. There are several examples where God used what the wicked meant for harm, turned it against the evil ones, and rescued His people. The book of Esther is a great example of this.

Since the wicked are always scheming to oppress and control, God is always looking for those who humble themselves before Him, so He can work through them to bring about His plans (2 Chronicles 16:9). Look what He did through Moses, Esther, and David.

God put you here for such a time as this. Maybe you’ve received your anointing, and it’s time to act. Seek God for the next steps. Perhaps you understand your assignment, and you’ve been through some tests and trials already (James 1:3). Keep going! Remember to remain humble and give the battle to the Lord.

God doesn’t test you to see your strength and resilience. He tests the heart to check the posture of His people (Deuteronomy 8:2). God only wants your love and trust (Proverbs 8:17; John 14:15, 1 John 3:18).

So, when we are out in the world and encounter a young man like I did in my dream who desperately needs help and can’t break-free on his own—we can help him. Because when we humble ourselves before God, He can and will do mighty things in us and through us!

WHEN GOD'S SPIRIT COMES LIKE A FLOOD

WILL YOU SINK OR SWIM?

As a follow-up to last week’s message in the Heart of the Matter series, I’m continuing with a dream reveal in part 6: “The Father’s Heart”. It depicts the current state of the world, and where people stand in their relationship with God, and what happens as the flood of His Spirit comes.

In the dream, I was about 20 years younger—unmarried, unattached, and I was out with three of my girlfriends for dinner, when a guy from my high-school pulled me away. He was a typical bad boy—attractive, outgoing, and exciting to be with. He tried to get me to spend the night with him. I figured why not? What harm would it cause? It wouldn’t mean anything or go anywhere because we both weren’t looking for a long-term relationship.

As he left the restaurant, I followed, but one of my friends approached me and mentioned he was gay. She showed me a post on social media confirming this news. Instantly, I found myself back in the present, with the same friends at the same place, reading a recent post from this guy—bragging about playing three men simultaneously while using crude language to describe the experiences as he defended his behavior.

My heart sank at his current state of brokenness and anger. By the post, it was clear he was unhappy, unfulfilled, and struggling to find worth and meaning.

I went back to the table to order dinner. One friend mentioned she was hungry and desired to eat as well. Surprised, the other two thought we were only getting dessert and drinks, and a server dropped off a cake. One of those two dug in and immediately started choking. I asked if she was okay, and she nodded, telling me she would work it out. Her efforts made a bigger mess—and icing spread over her face and hair. She tried clearing her throat but ignored the water on the table.

To help her, I searched for something to wipe her face. I circled the place, only finding cheap, flimsy cocktail napkins. In the kitchen, I found sturdy, thick dinner napkins and brought them back. The friend who showed me the post earlier was deep in conversation with the guy from high school—who was disheveled, his hair a mess, his clothes unkempt and dirty. He was distraught and looking for help.

I knew by revelation, demonic spirits plagued him. He allowed a foothold for them into his life by the choices he made as a teen, which piled on him over the years because he didn’t realize he accepted lies and temptations from the enemy. He needed deliverance, and I planned to do it, but I knew my three friends wouldn’t understand it.

As if the guy could sense what I planned, the evil spirits holding his soul made him spring up and run out. I ran after him, screaming his name, but he was gone. Then the dream ended.

Here’s what I believe it meant—my younger self represented my “old” nature—before I was saved and filled with God’s Spirit (Ephesians 2:2-3). Tempted by the ways of the world, I agreed to his invitation, thinking my choice had no consequences (Ephesians 4:22). The guy, thinking he was carefree, led his life the same way. But I eventually broke free from that lifestyle by coming to Christ (Romans 6:6; Ephesians 2:4-5), but he did not. He never cared what anyone thought of him or the repercussions of his actions (Romans 8:6-7). He grabbed life by the horns and continued down the path of destruction. But soon, he could not free himself (Romans 7:20). He continued to be overtaken by more sin (Matthew 12:45)—driving him deeper into despair and hopelessness. His life was not one of freedom, he was oppressed under the influence of the enemy—the devil (2 Timothy 2:26). By choosing the temptations of the adversary, he was held captive and unable to break free from them (John 8:34).

Fast forward to the dinner table twenty years later. The cake represented the shallow and delicate beliefs that exist with ‘surface Christianity’, which is receiving the sweet salvation from accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and savior, but not pursuing a deeper relationship with Him (Micah 6:8).

That’s what my friend did, and she was choking—dying—because her beliefs were shallow. The secular world threatened her faith, and it would soon fizzle out if she didn’t make changes. If she accepted water—which represents the Holy Spirit—she would’ve received help (Titus 3:5). Instead, she leaned on her own efforts (Ephesians 2:8-9).

The friend speaking to the guy from high school didn’t partake in the cake or a meal. She immersed herself with the problem in front of her and ignored God altogether, and their discussion represented futile ways to save themselves from sin—impossible to do without Christ (Acts 4:12). Just as my choking friend—a believer—tried to do on her own (Romans 8:3).

The friend who wanted a meal—she and I both knew we needed more substantial food—the bread of life, which is Christ (John 6:51). We realized our need for the robust word of God that sustains and strengthens our faith and creates deep-rooted trust in God—which is necessary to overcome the attacks the enemy launches.

However, when it came to putting our faith in action, she failed to do that (James 2:17). I was the only one who planned to help the guy from high school with deliverance and looked for a way to help our choking friend.

And the search for the napkin? The flimsy cocktail napkin—which represented shallow beliefs—wouldn’t do the trick. She needed a dinner napkin—a solid foundation that only comes from intimacy with Christ—to clean her impurities and unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). She needed the type of understanding people get when they seek the Lord with their whole heart, mind, soul, and spirit (Mark 12:30). Knowing what it could do for her spurred my extreme effort to search and bring it to her.

If the devil knows we aren’t anchored in Christ, he can easily choke us to death because our shallow belief won’t sustain us when the storms come (Matthew 7:24-27).

The Holy Spirit’s strength was available for my choking friend—she just needed to reach for it and let it refresh and revive her (Ephesians 3:16, 6:10). She didn’t need to struggle on her own, just drink deeply of God’s Spirit and He would do the rest (Jeremiah 31:25)!

The ‘religious spirit’ tells people they only need the sweet salvation (cake) and that’s it. But like water, we need God’s Spirit to renew us every day, all day, to keep ourselves alive. Believers who don’t engage in a deep, meaningful relationship with God and use the tools He gives us won’t survive the attacks of the devil (Ephesians 6:11).

I believe what God is telling us at this hour is that ‘surface Christianity’ will no longer work! We need the fullness of God in Jesus as the bread of life and His refreshing Holy Spirit to survive the onslaught of the enemy because the attacks won’t stop (1 Peter 5:8 NKJV). Some Christians don’t realize they can be an overcomer through Christ, and they don’t need to fall prey to the storm of tactics the devil brings against them.

The guy I knew from high school—I remembered him as a boy. Devilishly handsome in high school, wild, carefree and full of reckless abandon. The ungodly world hadn’t trapped him yet. I think he was raised by his father but showed signs of rejection and neglect because his dad worked long hours, and he was alone much of the time. He was without key role models—teaching him biblical principles—which set him on course to search for meaning and purpose in the secular world around him. He was raised without God. And when God isn’t invited to fill the God-sized void that exists in everyone’s heart, then ungodly things fill it.

I cried over this because I remember how he was—full of life and possibilities. Compared to the shell of a man sitting with us twenty-years later, after the enemy took him hostage and molded him into a shadow of the person he could’ve been. Heartbreaking.

All I could think about were my innocent kids and the generation of children growing up without knowing the tender love, mercy, and forgiveness of our powerful and Almighty God.

It reminds me about the message of the twins I released a few weeks ago—half of the kids were lost from the simple fact that their parents didn’t raise them to know a loving God exists.

God wants you to know He loves you (Romans 5:8). He will never leave you or forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:8). He is not a human that He should lie or trick you or take advantage of or hurt you (Numbers 23:19). He fulfills EVERY promise He speaks (Joshua 23:14; 2 Peter 3:9). You can rely on Him and trust Him without fail (John 14:16; 1 Corinthians 1:9). He is always with you (Joshua 1:9), and just because you ignore Him doesn’t mean He doesn’t exist. He will never stop trying to get your attention. God is just waiting for you to come to Him (John 14:6).

He thinks about you constantly (Psalm 139:17). His sole purpose is to serve, love, minister, and bring us back to Him. He thinks about us as we sleep, go out and come in, and He cares about every little detail of our lives (Psalm 121). We are all He thinks about. He neither sleeps nor slumbers, and His thoughts are on us—all the time (Jeremiah 29:11). We are His business. Every waking hour, minute, and second, He is working for us. We are His children, and He will never stop trying to get His kids out of the devil’s control. It’s God’s desire to give us every gift and blessing (James 1:17), but when we are under the power of the enemy—and we allow Satan to rule and reign in our lives—we simply aren’t allowing God to rescue us. So many will stay in the capture’s clutches. They need to wake up and realize there’s a way out (Ephesians 1:4-6).

Don’t let the enemy infiltrate and control your heart and mind any longer. Now is the time to get under the protection of God the Father. If you’ve already accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, continue to get into His presence daily and get to know Him better.

The flood of God’s Spirit is here, and those who reject God will be lost forever. Those who have shallow Christianity need to pursue deeper intimacy with God or else they may lose faith, choke, and die. And those who know Him should show their faith by acting in love to share the good news of Christ to the dying world around them—otherwise they’ll watch their friends and family perish.

RESCUE IS ON THE WAY!

HEAR WHAT GOD IS SAYING TODAY!

Today I’m continuing with the Heart of the Matter series with part five: Reviving the Heart, by discussing two dreams and what the Holy Spirit revealed about them. If you listened to the messages up to this point, and grasp how much God loves you (John 3:16), how He is for you and not against you (Romans 8:31), this message reveals how we can extend God’s heart toward others.

In the first dream, I watched TV with a friend or neighbor who was unrecognizable because he was a skeleton—eyes bulging, skin clinging to bone, no lips, and I was chilly. I believe the Lord revealed this represents many in the church—their love has grown cold toward the Lord.

At one point, they were introduced to Christ and lived somewhat in the faith, but let the weeds or cares of this world overwhelm them. They are dying. I looked at my body and I was willing to offer some ‘fat’ to help bring him back to life. This was an offering of faith, because these people had ‘just enough life’ to choose the refreshing flood of the Holy Spirit’s presence, or not.

When I asked my friend how he was doing, he responded he was sick of everyone asking, rolled his eyes and said he was fine. The revelation of this was ‘forced’ Christianity pressed upon people.

As I sought the Lord for the meaning and interpretation of this dream, I believe He said,

“BEHOLD! I shall do a NEW thing! It will be revealed when the time comes for Me to pour out My Glory!”

The dream came November 2023, and His Spirit brought it to remembrance—a year later. This is a telling sign the event is imminent.

This segued into another dream I received that night. I found myself underground in what appeared to be a basement. It was dark and heaps of dirt and debris covered the floor as I walked through what looked like a broken door frame. I felt fearful, but with the presence of the Lord, I pushed forward with my flashlight, determined to find what I was looking for.

Here’s what I believe the Lord shared with me:

“Shannon, although you harbored a twinge of fear, I strengthened you. Taking what you had on hand—your cell phone—you used the flashlight when dropped into the sudden situation, as a tool to ‘look’ around the deep, dark places.

“This represents My body (God’s people) willing to walk in the darkness, into places to rescue people overcome by evil forces and shine a light—My light—upon them. Even though your phone was your everyday tool, I used it supernaturally, for My purposes.

“Behold! I shall do a new thing! I will create miracles and wonders with what you have on hand. All My prophets and people—but not only they—shall be blessed from it. So shall unbelievers be blessed. But their witness of it will overcome them, and I shall usher more people into My Kingdom.”   

What is this new thing to behold? I believe the Lord is telling us His Spirit is about to move in a powerful way that we’ve never seen or experienced before. And along with it—signs, miracles, and wonders.

After a prompting to look-up scriptures with the word "Behold," Micah 1:2-3 caught my attention. I discussed it in the crossover message a few weeks ago and the ESV translation says, “Hear, you peoples, all of you; pay attention, O earth, and all that is in it, and let the Lord God be a witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple. For behold, the Lord is coming out of his place and will come down and tread upon the high places of the earth.”

God is moving, and I believe He’s coming in a way we’ve never seen, to knock out the evil that has exalted itself over Him—in other words—tear down the high places.

How is He going to do that? The other verse brought to my attention was Jude 1:14-15: “it was also about these that Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying, ‘Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of his holy ones, to execute judgement on all and to convict all the ungodly of all their deeds of ungodliness that they have committed in such an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things that ungodly sinners have spoken against him.’”

Upon seeking the meaning of the dream, the Holy Spirit revealed He’s using my phone as a means to spread His light in the darkness to deliver these messages of hope. I received this dream four months prior to starting this channel, and its purpose wasn’t revealed until making this video!

Many people have stopped looking for hope and healing by seeking the church. Bad experiences or certain scenarios have turned them off. It’s not all churches, but I’m referring to those preaching doom, gloom, and condemnation—anything that doesn’t offer hope, peace, and restoration through the love of Christ.

So, I’m releasing videos in an unconventional way—not preaching from a pulpit, but searching for people who need God’s light, love, mercy, and grace—on this platform.

This thing to behold—God coming to tread on the high places and judge the wicked—That’s not for believers. They are saved by grace, and His mercy is new every morning. So, if I mess up, I repent. I ask for forgiveness, and He restores me. God uses imperfect people (like me) to bring opportunities for others to receive His saving grace through Christ, just like He offered me. God loved us while we were still sinners. He sent His Son as a sacrifice to pay for those sins, (Romans 5:8) and now that Christ ascended and sits at the right hand of God the Father, He sends His Spirit to help us be His representatives on the earth.

I then believe God brought me to the verse in Jude—He’s partnering with His people to be light in the darkness and reach people that desperately need truth, hope, healing, and love but don’t know where to find it.

If you feel a tug on your heart, God is trying to get your attention. He’s trying to draw you to Himself and show you the perfect plan He destined for you. There is a time coming—and it may be right now because I record these weeks in advance—when you must choose a side. There’s only two. You either accept God or reject Him. There’s no straddling the fence or staying lukewarm. God’s Spirit is here, and either you’re under His protection when you chose Christ, or you’re susceptible to the constant barrage of attacks from the wiles of the devil.

But don’t mistake this for the judgment God is bringing against the wicked—that’s different. Therefore, when you hear such a message, pause and listen—it’s a chance to rekindle your faith if you strayed or to come to Christ while He can still be found (Isaiah 55:6 NLT). People who want grace and mercy must act when the opportunity presents itself (Romans 10:9-10). We don’t know how many chances we’ll get since we don’t know what tomorrow brings (James 4:14).

But what about those who don’t hear this message and won’t walk into a church? You’re likely surrounded by them. They exist in every circle, every age, and walk of life. I know because I lived like this (Ephesians 5:8-11 GNT). But once we’re saved or reignite our faith, we have the power of the Holy Spirit living in us and through us, for God to reach these people.

Jude 1:22-23 says: “and you must show mercy to those whose faith is wavering. Rescue others by snatching them from the flames of judgment. Show mercy to still others, but do so with great caution, hating the sins that contaminate their lives.”

Verse 22 shows we, as believers, need to approach some with a gentle word to show them God’s truth and encourage them to come to the Lord. But verse 23 shows some need to be torn out of the clutches of the enemy. They don’t know they’re perishing, so we need to go after them with perseverance. These are friends, family, coworkers, and those close to us, who confide in us, looking for support and help. Are you going to let them go into destruction without a fight?

Jude 1:5-7 says these people will be destroyed. God is love, but He’s also holy. His holiness does not allow Him to tolerate sin—it must be dealt with (Nahum 1:3a). So, if unsaved people experience tumultuous situations and everything is upside down for them, interject with God’s hope through Christ’s love. Don’t be timid about sharing the good news about Christ that can help rescue them (2 Timothy 1:7).

Jude 1:5 says, “…the Lord once rescued the people of Israel from Egypt, but afterward destroyed those who did not believe.”

Even after seeing the parting of the Red Sea, walking through on dry ground, and watching the waters overcome Pharoah and his army—this wasn’t enough for some to believe it was God. Seeing doesn’t mean believing! That’s why it’s so important for us to point out how much God loves the broken and hurting people in our life and help them understand God loves them.

You are in a unique position to bring them this opportunity of hope, love, and forgiveness God granted to you. So, if you’ve made Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior and you want those you love to experience the same, share your testimony (1 Peter 3:15-16 GNT). It will change hearts (Luke 8:39 ESV, Revelation 12:11 NASB). God will work through you and give you the power to say and do what is necessary to change their life (Luke 12:12).

Because the Lord shows us mercy and forgiveness, He wants us to do the same for others (Ephesians 4:32 NLT). We are not to judge or turn anyone away from God’s salvation. It doesn’t matter where they’ve been or what they’ve done—we love them by showing them Jesus’ love (John 13:34-35 NLV). And because we repent and God continuously forgives us (1 John 1:9 ESV), we are to do the same for the lost and broken around us—which is the skeleton sitting next to me on the couch in the dream—signifying the people we once were (Ephesians 2:1-5 NLV, 2 Timothy 2:24-26).

Believers must accept people the same way Christ did—he welcomed and ate with sinners (Matthew 9:10-13). He came for the sick and brokenhearted. These people need hope, healing, restoration. Above all, they need love. They need to know their Creator—God the Father—is just waiting to carry their burdens and care for them when they come to Him through Jesus. Give people the greatest opportunity of this life and beyond by extending Christ’s love and a future with hope and purpose (Jeremiah 29:11).

If you feel you’ll have a hard time reaching someone, a book by Cindy McGill titled, Words that Work, is a great resource to approach a person or situation in a way that won’t make them shut down or turn them off. This author is a powerhouse—she goes into places to reach people who desperately need God’s love and brings the healing and transformative power of Jesus.

I hope this inspires you to do just that. For yourself, if you haven’t accepted Christ yet, or to help others who need His hope and healing.

REFRESHMENT FOR THE WEARY

HAVE AN ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE!

Today I’m continuing with the Heart of the Matter series, bringing you part 4—The Grateful Heart. I think we all need a break from the surrounding whirlwind, and focusing on what we are thankful for gives us refreshment and revives us to continue pressing forward.

Many are weary, so let’s take a break, and get some encouragement and strength through the peace and comfort God offers (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). When we focus on God’s goodness and His Lordship, it not only uplifts you, but the joy strengthens you (Nehemiah 8:10). Let these words soak in because when we put our minds on Christ, we see God’s perfection, and His light and love warms our soul and spirit (Psalm 23:3).

The words I’m sharing are beautiful and poetic—weaved with truth and power. I’ll start with this one:

“The time has come! The countdown is finished; three—two—one! Despite what you see, My family expands. I welcome millions into eternity! Redemption in yours, my beautiful people, My glorious fountain washes over the feeble. Resurrect you I will, you’ll be with Me in paradise. But choosing Christ now brings abundant life! No more striving, no more strife! For you have riches in My Son, Jesus Christ! My Dear children, I sought after you! I weaved purpose and plans to rescue you! Do not be discouraged and do not be in fear, for My children, I hold all of you dear. There is nothing I wouldn’t do to come after you. You are mine and I am yours. Come with me now—I open all doors!”

That reminds me of what Paul was teaching in Ephesians. We don’t beg God to come to us. He chose us while we were still sinners (Romans 5:8). We did nothing to gain His favor and forgiveness—yet He gives it to us freely when we choose Christ (Ephesians 1:4-23 AMPC).

Which brings me to the next one:

“Lord in You and Your strength and power I will remain, I will be courageous and bold and Your Word I will proclaim, no reaction from the enemy will cause me to recoil, for to You, in Christ, I remain loyal! Oh God, you’ve given me such a great inheritance! You purchased me by Your blood, I give You obedience. All glory, all honor, I give to You, in everything I think, say, and do.”

There is a BIG GOD who’s working for you (Psalm 121:4), cheering for you (Zephania 3:17), supporting you (Isaiah 59:1) and loving you like a good Father—don’t be afraid to tell people whose child you are (Titus 2:11-14)!

When you belong to God the Father through Christ (John 14:6), blessings overflow in your life (1 Peter 3:12). And when people see you have love, joy, peace, and hope pouring out of everything you do (Galatians 5:22-25 NLT), people will want to find out why—why do you celebrate when the world is in upheaval? It’s because we are His and He gives us every good and perfect gift (James 1:17 NLV, Matthew 7:11 NLT). No evil comes from Him.

It is God’s desire to see us joyful and receive His blessings (Psalm 35:27). All we must do is understand His love for us in Christ and open our heart back to Him.

My prayer is for everyone to recognize their need for God’s redemption, love, and protection (Ephesians 3:16-19). We shouldn’t feel doom and gloom. I believe He gave this next word to get us excited about what He has in store for us.

“Rejoice and celebrate! This is no time to recoil! The plans of the enemy are being foiled! It’s time to rejoice on the mountain top, because God is raising His righteous up! We will be seen! God is blessing His redeemed! It’s been a time of extreme testing and pressure—but the Lord is coming! His Spirit releases as a flood upon the lessor! Woe to the wicked, for they are being kicked out! No longer ruling the earth, God is cleaning them out! The whirlwind comes to crush evil plans but wash over people, giving them another chance. God is love and wants to help and support you—turn your heart to Him and see what He can do!”

And this:

“My Dear Beloved Shannon, I’m glad you bring your trouble to Me. It is necessary for rest and refreshment, which you ALWAYS find in Me. That’s why it’s imperative to be with Me every day! The weightiness of the world—needs melting away. But this heaviness can be lifted in My presence—receive wholeness in My Holiness—a cleansing, purifying, refreshment. I give my attention to any and ALL who sit with Me as a blessing—answering My call. As I have said, I do NOT force My will or ways. It’s something people must choose all their days. For My promises are fresh and new, with each and every morning dew. Tell My people to hear in this hour, accept My invitation, and come under My power. Many have been called and prepared for releasing My vision.

“Come to Me My Dear children and receive Our—The Trinity’s—provision!

The days ahead will get more dismal, stay with Me as I give My signal. Many things will begin to happen as an effect of My love in action. Take this time to look above—and see it’s My redemptive love! My goal is to win hearts—out of death’s darkness, My Spirit harkens—at My beloved’s cry of starkness. Soon you will be clothed and righteous, when I bring My strength, peace, and justice!

“Woe to the wicked who do not repent, for I gave My Son for those who lament. Jesus Christ is a gift and rejection of Me allows Satan to sift. Don’t allow that to happen and give evil the traction! Rid your life of Satan to see what you’ve been given! Open your mind, hearts, ears, and eyes wide—see the depth of My love, do not hide! Come forth in light and receive abundant life! Do not let the enemy keep you in strife. For I AM rescues you from your plight. Only God Almighty gives eternal life!

“Come to Me, My children, for I am gentle and kind. Death and destruction are not from My mind. I do not send it. It’s a ploy of Satan. However, I, the Lord, will turn it and shake him. My love shines brighter than any star, and I call My people to join Me from near and far. Partake in My passion for life and freedom, come back to Me and experience Eden!”

I believe l received a revelation on that part about Eden. God is not talking about the restoration of the world after the rapture. He’s talking about being in His presence through Christ’s redemptive action—which is available now (Luke 15:38; Hebrews 10:19-22).

Through Christ, we can be in God’s presence whenever we want, through prayer, praise, and worship (Ephesians 2:6). Eden was a time when God communed personally with Adam and Eve and He’s telling us we have permission to be with Him when we accept Christ (John 14:6). That’s what He means by experiencing Eden.

This last one drives this point home:

“God’s fierce love pulls His precious people out of the devil’s darkness into His glorious light—through the only option available—with His Son, Jesus Christ! Redemption is coming for those who turn to the cross, but those who don’t are forever lost! For Christ is our hope and the only way out! Join me today and end your drought! For those who don’t answer God’s invitation will forever be sifted, for they belong to Satan. But God is calling His children back—with Him there’s no time of striving and lack. So, listen to Him the hour is here—accept Christ now and become His heir!”

Along with acknowledging God’s power and Lordship and giving thanks for the forgiveness He extends; we should be grateful for His grace and mercy. Not only does he give us forgiveness, but His Holy Spirit renews our faith if we find ourselves lacking. He both restores us and strengthens us in Him!

We aren’t perfect, and as Christ’s faithful followers, we don’t willfully set out to sin (1 John 3:9). But we are human, so we still mess up. But God, in His grace and mercy, DOES NOT HOLD THIS AGAINST US.

It’s God’s Spirit that gives us the power to overcome our shortcomings when we stumble and fall. He’s the One who renews and strengthens our faith (Romans 12:2)! He withholds punishment because He cloths us in His Son’s righteousness with His mercy (2 Corinthians 5:21, Romans 3:21-26), and He endows His unlimited favor to us with His grace (Ephesians 2:8-9). When we approach Him with pure hearts and motives, God withholds no good thing (Psalm 84:11). When we ask, seek, and knock—He delivers (Matthew 7:7-8)!

If you’re struggling with your faith, here’s 7 things to help increase it:

• Saturate your mind with God’s word (Romans 10:17).
• Embrace a relationship with God the Father (John 17:3).
• Ask God to reveal Himself to you (Matthew 7:7; John 1:18).
• Surrender your will and accept God’s (Proverbs 3:5-6; Jeremiah 29:11).
• Trust God with all aspects of your life (Colossians 2:6-7; 2 Corinthians 1:20).
• Give God control and obey His direction (Psalm 34:9-10, James 1:22).
• Remember that we can do all things through Christ, but we can do nothing apart from Him (John 15:5; Philippians 4:13; Luke 9:1, 10:19; John 14:12-15)

Here’s the last word straight from God’s heart:

“Oh, My bride! My bride needs to shine! For far too long she’s ignored My Spirit—My presence, Allow Me to work through you, My church, to labor LESS! You are tired and weak because you do NOT rely on ME to lead! Better yet, let Me carry you! Rest on eagle wings, as you go out and do! Lean on Me, My weary bride. When you take up your cross, you’re taking up MINE! I have carried it, I have clung to it, I have hung from it, I have given My life, so that you may have yours more abundant! Do you not see? Every sin was pierced as I hung from that tree. As My blood ran free, the sin poured out, showing My love without a doubt. You are pure; you are free, because of Me. Run to the cross, for I came to save the broken and lost. Take up your cross! It is easy and light, for it is I who burns off the dross. WE have the victory. It is not ‘just you’ fighting, it’s WE—for you have the Trinity! You do not labor alone. For your help comes from the King, it comes from the throne!”

So, we enter God’s rest and receive His best! The surrounding trouble will never stop, but under God’s protection, we come out on top. We stand our ground under God’s mighty crown. We rule and reign and we don’t stay in vain. When God is for us, who can be against us? For we have all power and authority through Christ Jesus. What more can we ask for?

“I am yours and you are Mine. Love Me, trust Me, and stay in My vine. You are connected to My Son, My light, for by following Him, you are always right. Some may call you evil, bigot, and monster, but this is the devil crying out as you conquer. Soon the enemy will be vanquished, crushed, and destroyed. As you, My righteous band together; deployed. The world will see My power and My glory once again. Through My people, My movement, for My Kingdom has no end. As together we will reign forever and ever, Amen!”

I hope this jostle of the standard model inspired you, encouraged you, and motivated you to live your faith so you can live your BEST life!

WHERE IS GOD?

WHY DOES IT SEEM WE ARE TAKING A BEATING?

Last week continued with part 2 in the series—the Heart of the Matter—and I released a word from God’s heart telling us no matter what we see or hear, God is working on behalf of His people, and we shouldn’t fear. We should choose faith over fear and trust God when facing a crossroads.

Sometimes, it’s difficult. We feel weary and wonder why we stay on the path. After reading Malachi, my spirit identified with how the people felt in his day. With everything happening on a global and national scale, down to our individual struggles—it’s hard to stay positive when all we see is darkness. So, it’s imperative to release today's message; part 3: Strengthen Your Heart.

Is God on our side? Where is He in this? Does He care? Will He answer our prayers?

The people in Malachi’s time felt this way. They went through the motions hoping God would intervene, but their hearts harbored bitterness and unbelief because He seemed inactive and silent. The Holy Spirit revealed there are many who feel this way—right now—and He wants to address it.

I’m sharing a dream with a surprising twist, then a word from God that will help us focus on His steadfast love for us.

In the dream, I was the same age I am now, but without my husband. I wasn’t sure if I was divorced or widowed, but I had my children. A local celebrity (which I won’t name) was in the same position—children with a previous spouse, and out in the dating scene. We connected and had an amazing date. We both knew it would turn into something special. But I went away for 2 weeks to spend time with my children, and I didn’t communicate with him.

When I returned, he was surprised to see me, but it filled him with joy. I’m not sure if he thought I wasn’t interested in him and tried to disappear, but we spent time together. I performed acrobatics—which was easy and normal in the dream—and it filled him with wonder and awe. He viewed me like I was the most incredible and stunning person he ever met. I wondered if this was because of what I just did, or because of my underlying character.

My desire to be with him was crushed when I found out he’d met someone and got engaged during the two weeks we were apart. I felt jealous and thought he would break it off considering our strong connection, because he only knew this other woman for 2 weeks. Perhaps we would explore furthering our relationship, so I asked him about his engagement. He said, “I can be with you on the side.”

Shocked and disappointed, the idea sickened me. If he wanted to be with me, why not “all-in”? But he compromised. He desired to be with me, but he wasn’t willing to let go of what he had. This wasn’t enough for me—I needed all or nothing.

Here’s what I believe the Holy Spirit revealed. How I felt is how God feels toward us. I represented Christ in the dream. I know I’m far from it, but He wanted me to feel the jealous love He has towards us! From my perspective, I gathered this—we had an amazing encounter—how it feels when someone first accepts Jesus, but then their sinful nature gets in the way. That’s what the 2 weeks apart represented; the ‘separation’ because of humanity’s sin.

While God ‘seems silent’—people aren’t sure if He abandoned them, forgot about them, or doesn’t care to help. So, they put their hope on something else. That’s when the man picked the other woman. But it was only the beginning of the courtship! That time represents the necessity of Christ’s bride to get to know Him better and trust Him—which is required for any marriage to work. If spending a couple weeks apart leads a person to stray, did the person want to be with Him in the first place?

In the dream, the two weeks were spent focusing on my family, and the guy was surprised I came back. This is the realization people have when they learn Christ never left them (Deut. 31:8). He’s always focused on His family, but He can be everywhere, all the time, with everyone, all at once (Psalm 121:8).

When God doesn’t seem to answer, people seek other things instead of trusting Him. And when those things don’t satisfy them, and their encounters with Christ are miraculous and amazing (represented by the acrobatics I performed in the dream) they want what He provides, as well. They won’t let go of their temporary fix, but they don’t want to give up what Jesus offers, either (James 4:8).

We hang on to temporary security—whatever that is—just in case God doesn’t show up or answer when we think He should. We keep Christ on the side and go through the motions half-heartedly—church, bible study, praying—on the off chance it will get Him to act. We grow cynical that He will respond.

We can’t mistake God’s silence as inaction or ignorance. I believe God wants to confirm with us He is always working to accomplish His purposes, and His primary goal is to redeem His family (Titus 2:14). He wants to remind us of His fierce love toward us.

Nahum 1:2 says, “The Lord is a jealous God, filled with vengeance and rage (on behalf of His people). He takes revenge on all who oppose him and continues to rage against his enemies!” (Parenthesis, mine).

This is only one scripture that displays God’s fierce, redemptive, and zealous love. Do we have that same love toward Him? Do we believe He works on our behalf? Do we believe He answers our prayers?

Psalm 103:8 NLT says, “The Lord is compassionate and merciful, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.” God wishes no one to perish without an opportunity for repentance (2 Peter 3:9).

Then His Spirit led me to the first part of Nahum 1:3a NLT: “The Lord is slow to get angry, but his power is great and will not allow the guilty to go unpunished.”

The Holy Spirit reminded me we should not take God’s patience as His acceptance of sin (Romans 2:4). It is only God’s fierce love for His people that His timing mirrors His patience (2 Peter 3:8).

But God’s furious and zealous love for His people is at hand. In my spirit, I believe He’s reached His limit. He already suffered for His Bride and her cries break His heart. Why are we cynical about this mighty love? Have we waited so long that we don’t believe He’s coming?

The people in Malachi were disgruntled (Malachi 3:14-15). They were cynical that God would show up and help. Their attitude wasn’t one of desperation, it was disdain (Malachi 2:17). God wanted them to repent from this behavior and this dream showed me to check my heart posture, and I think it’s something everyone should do.

God loves His people, BUT WE MUST RETURN TO HIM AND THEN GOD WILL RETURN TO US (Malachi 3:7). The people in Malachi’s time didn’t trust Him or believe He’d show up. Their hearts didn’t belong to Him. They didn’t look to Him in reverence and awe. They didn’t respect Him. It broke God’s heart because He cannot deliver blessing to an unrepentant heart (Proverbs 28:14).

If people don’t allow God in, it blocks Him from working in their lives. They need to repent and let go of their bitterness and cynical attitudes and ask God to come fully into their heart.

I asked God how He wanted to respond to those who felt weary—who no longer believed He could or would do something about our circumstances. I asked:

“What about those with weary hearts? The ones going through the motions who have heard the whispers of this grand rescue plan, but it appears nothing more than a fairytale because the darkness seems to get worse. They still see the wicked prosper, and God giving rain to bless all people. Why does it seem like You withhold blessing from those You love? Why don’t You show Your power like the days of old and rain blessings upon the remnant crying out to You?”

This is the response I believe I heard:

“My Dear Beloved Shannon. If I gave My children blessing all the time and every time—the expectation is just there—why would they speak to Me? Why would they seek Me? Above ALL it is a relationship I want with them. Do you know how many come to Me in a time of peril? Do you know how many come to Me if they have no need?

“I do not create the ‘need’, so they seek Me (Deut. 4:31). Understand it results from people’s freewill and their choices that likely caused the trouble (Romans 5:16-17). The consequences—or the ‘need’ they find in their circumstances—results from the fallen world, which resulted in death and destruction (Romans 5:12). It drives them to either seek Me for help or reject Me. They either look to My blessing and rest their hope in Me, or they blame Me for their trouble even though the fallen world is riddled with it and trouble bubbles up no matter what (John 16:33)—it’s the state of what happens in the fallen world when people give dominion to let the enemy run rampant in the world and in their lives (1 John 5:19, Ephesians 2:1-5).

“They grow cynical because the cycle of seed and harvest happens. This is the law of nature. But with Me, anything is possible (Luke 1:37). Once a person allows Me in their heart, will I not eagerly tend to it? Will I not water the good seed they plant? It is up to them what they plant! If they don’t tend to it and pull out the weeds, when it’s watered (with the rain I pour down upon everyone as you said-Matthew 5:45) will it not sprout up a mess? But if people tend to their heart with good deeds as seeds, will that not sprout up something wonderful? With the light of the Son shining on it (Malachi 4:1-2), protecting it, shielding it, and providing every resource you need, will it not yield an increase of thirty, sixty, or a hundred-fold (Matthew 13:23)? Am I not able to produce this if the soil was prepared right (meaning the condition of the heart) and the correct seed was planted?

“It starts with the individual’s heart. Are they presenting fertile soil? Are they planting and doing the right things? I withhold NO GOOD THING if My people provide their love and reverence as an offering (Psalm 84:11)!

“Again, it comes down to choice. Look at the posture of your heart—is My blessing and mercy ready to start? What have you planted? If nothing—no preparation—then weeds will sprout and lead to desperation (Matthew 13:38-42 NLT). If people choose Me in that moment, I meet them immediately and mend the separation. The Holy Spirit shows you how to till and plant good seeds and pull-out destructive weeds (John 14:26). This is for the child who never knew Me.

“But what of My kids who turned their back and now have lack? They say they believe, and some visit and sing. But their hearts are far from Me, and it breaks My heart. For they lean on their job, or their savings to satisfy their cravings. But these don’t fulfill them, and they look for more. Don’t you get it, My cynical children? You don’t think I can deliver anymore! You don’t expect Me to show or do anything. But lo, I have come. I knock at your door (Revelation 3:20 ESV)!”

Once we fully understand how much God loves us, how much He thinks of us every moment, night, and day (Psalm 121) and realize everything He does is for our good than we open ourselves up to the revelation of His love, which will strengthen us fully and completely (Nehemiah 8:10).

THE CROSSROAD IS HERE!

CHOOSE FAITH OVER FEAR!

Last week I started a new series—the Heart of the Matter—and released God’s heart for us in this hour, which is a demonstration of His all-encompassing love.

We must understand His love and what He’s doing for those of us in Christ. We are His righteous remnant. He hears our prayers, and He’s answering. When His Spirit comes, we need to put Him in control, move with Him and partner with Him in this hour. We may not understand how He’s working (Isaiah 55:8-9), but we need to trust it’s for the best (Proverbs 3:5-6).  

I believe we are at a crossroads where we must choose faith over fear. To start, we must put our house in order and allow the Holy Spirit to occupy our minds, aligning ourselves with Him. So, whatever happens in the coming days, we’ll understand what He’s doing is for our benefit.

This season may look chaotic and confusing, but if we keep God at the center and follow His lead, we can choose faith over fear in every situation—no matter what we see and hear. We need to stay confident in the Lord no matter what happens around us (2 Corinthians 5:7).

Back in March, I had a dream and as I prepared this message, the Holy Spirit recalled my attention to it.

In it, my husband and I bought a house to fix up and rent, but the second-floor bathroom sloped so much, and the light-blue tile was so cracked, and, in such disrepair, it was a detriment to use. A sign over the light-switch read: “You must sign a waiver to use with the light on.”

That was it, so I took it to the Lord, and I believe He said:

“For those who desire to live in the light—My light—they must be accountable to Me. They must not be double-minded (James 1:8). If they truly want to live in My light, they must demolish strongholds of their carnal nature and leave it behind (John 8:12). If they don’t, they pursue their desires in the dark, without My help, guidance, or direction, and they will not fulfill the goals which they are meant to complete—the ones I have for them—for they are not on stable ground.” 

I believe God told me how we needed to prepare our hearts for the coming days to be ready for the future He wants to bring us into. We cannot allow our sinful desires to take precedence. We need to commit ourselves fully and completely to the Lord and let His Spirit lead us (Psalm 37:5-6).

A bathroom is an unclean space. A bathroom in disrepair with a crooked floor on the verge of destruction—is even worse. I believe the Lord is telling us, even if the future is messy or disastrous, we can ‘do our business’ if we sign the waiver—giving our trust to God to use His light. We don’t need to be scared to do our business—even if it looks bad. We can’t let ourselves fall into fear and do things our way or the way someone else says to do it—we need to let God’s Spirit remain in control to stabilize us and do it His way.      

We need to protect our heart from our carnal nature, preconceived notions, false teachings, and decide in advance to let God’s Spirit steer us and not our emotions. The Holy Spirit should occupy our mind so nothing else can move in.  

Like I said in the video relating the semi-trucks to the Holy Spirit—at the cross-roads—our heart and mind must be driven by the Holy Spirit in the coming days.

Here’s a word I believe I received from the Lord during a time when I was in deep despair. If you can identify with this—and perhaps you might by what we hear and see—this message for you.

One morning, during the juggle and struggle of life, I sought God. I read from a devotional and Hebrews 10:15-39 was the scripture. While meditating on the verses, I read the commentary of my study bible. It said, "in light of eternity our brief suffering on earth is no comparison to our everlasting reward". Somehow that put me in a deeper despair.

That did not give me hope and refreshment to face the day. In fact, I wanted to curl up and cry. But then the Holy Spirit prompted me to take it to Him.

I asked, “How are we to endure suffering and struggles for the great salvation we have after death? How do we get past the despair and hopelessness if our life is doom and gloom and destruction all the time? Where is God’s joy? How can we have the strength to persevere if we see no benefit in this life? How do we hope in life after death to ease our present sufferings? Or do we hope to be rescued in the rapture? Lord, show me how to have confidence and hope NOW! To make a difference now—in this life!”

I heard, “My Dear Beloved Daughter Shannon,” and I cried. He answered right away. He always makes Himself available and never treats me like an interrupting child. He listens and responds in our time of need.

Then I believe I heard:

“This is why the book of Acts is a blueprint. It was a time when My Spirit flowed freely and there was joy and abundance between all My people—all believers (Acts 2:43-47). They received the Good News, but My Goodness didn’t stop there. If you are in MY presence, there is FULLNESS of joy (Psalm 16:11) because I AM GOODNESS! Therefore, if you stay in My presence all the time—submitting yourself to ME in all you do and think—guess what? You will have My Goodness. Troubling times arise in the world outside of My Presence and Protection (Psalm 23:5) which affects everyone.

“But do not run and hide from Me! For in My Presence is fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11)! If you leave—meaning—if you go off on your own understanding or follow someone else’s idea that is NOT ordained by Me, then you are leaving My Presence, where you will encounter fear and despair. When you read those words of interpretation, you felt despair. That’s because you left the power of My word and My Presence and Protection and opened your heart and mind for understanding to a man. He is My servant and gives his life to honor Me and teach others, but he is human, and not everything he writes is of divine revelation. Some teaching is from what his mind offers. The hope of salvation is true—to those who are lost. But to those who are part of My family working faithfully and diligently the good works I set before them (Ephesians 2:10 NKJV)—they need constant refreshment. The days are evil and so much darkness threatens to take over (Ephesians 5:15-16 NIV).

"But in My presence is fullness of joy! If My people stay connected to Me, I can fulfill My purpose through them. I want My people to have joy, and when I AM around, displayed through My people, not only does My character show up, but My goodness! I bring abundant life (John 10:10) and every perfect gift from above! It comes down from the Father of heavenly lights (James 1:17) into the earth—yes, on earth as it is in heaven! (Matthew 6:10)

“It brings Me joy when My children have joy. I did not create life for My children in order that they suffer. My Son suffered in order that they may have life! And have it ABUNDANTLY! I made a way to escape the current sufferings of this world through My Son, and when you are in My Presence, there is fullness of joy! You will see goodness in the land of the living (Psalm 27:13) as more people let My Spirit live in and through them!

“Where I AM, My Spirit is. And where My Spirit is, there is My character. There WILL BE love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, faithfulness, self-control, and GOODNESS (Galatians 5:22-23)! Where I AM, My Goodness is—I bring it. Imagine if all people in the world came to this understanding. No more selfish ambition, only My fruit. It would be heaven on earth!

“There is a time coming, when many WILL have My Spirit flowing through them, and there will be more in this world following MY WAYS rather than the enemy’s ways. You will see a ‘glimpse’ of heaven during this time.

“But it is not a time of complacency. It will be a time to expand My kingdom and HOLD the ground. I need My beautiful bride to be ready for My return (Revelation 19:7)! It’s a time of training (Luke 19:17). This is preparation for the final performance. My righteous in the world (Proverbs 21:21) will show the earth HOW POWERFUL I AM… and I AM coming! Open the gates (Isaiah 26:2)! Open the gates (Psalm 24:7)! OPEN THE GATES!" (Psalm 24:9)

Then I saw a vision. Jesus—adorned in rich embroidered robes and jewels—kneeling beside me, stroking my hair. After all, I came to Him looking for encouragement. It was dark all around us and I asked Him why He was the only one ‘lit up’ in the room.

I believe He answered with this:

“I AM with you (Isaiah 41:10). I have met you where you are and given you all you need to move forward (Philippians 4:19). My path is lit. If you stay close to Me, I will be a lamp to your feet (Psalm 119:105). You see the light is bright as day! So even if you travel through places of darkness, there will be NO MISTEPS, FOR I, MYSELF, LIGHT THE PATH LIKE THE NOONDAY (Psalm 23:4)! Hooray! We need to celebrate!” (Nahum 1:15)

He smiled at me and started dancing.

Surprised, I asked, “What are we celebrating?”

He said, “This is a time of celebration and NOT holding back! The more you celebrate, the more breakthroughs you’ll have! The release of My Spirit is powerful—a mighty gust. A tower, a fortress of wind—engulfing every corner, every cavity as it moves through the earth.

"People look up! Their attention—arrested! Eyes wide—FULL ATTENTION! They weep and beat their chests. Then fall on their knees and repent, giving their life to Christ. It’s happening. EVERYWHERE. Exalt My Son—there is NO BETTER CAUSE ON THIS EARTH.”

He danced again, the only figure doused in light. He said,

“I am the light. I AM illuminated in this hour. I shine in the darkness and nothing else matters but Me. Stay focused on Me. And celebrate! Many of My children are coming home!”   

My spirit soared. I went from tears to cheers. I’ve mentioned this 'event' or 'events' coming, but let’s be honest—unforeseen circumstances happen all the time and most aren’t good surprises. So, if something happens on a large scale that affects the world, us, or someone we know—the same principles apply.

When we seek help or direction, sometimes the people of God get it wrong—they are human. But whatever we see and hear—even in our individual circumstances—we will have decided in advance not to let fear take over. When fear drives our thinking, the devil gains control. When we have faith, we have peace and confidence because God goes before us (Micah 2:13). He is our hedge and shield (Psalm 3:3). He protects those who belong to Him (Job 1:10). So, get under His protection and put on His armor (Ephesians 6:13) and remain in peace (Philippians 4:7, Ephesians 6:10).

A few things to underscore:

1. When you open your heart to something (or someone) other than God, fear and despair may seep in. Keep your mind on the Lord and you will remain in His presence, protection, and peace (Isaiah 26:3).

2. If something doesn’t sit well in your spirit, take it to God! The longer we ponder, we sow seeds of doubt. Bring it to the Lord before it manifests into fear. Take every thought captive under Christ (2 Cor. 10:5)

3. The rapture is not God's rescue mission; Christ already rescued us! Retrain your brain to receive your inheritance in Christ and use the gifts He provided. The Holy Spirit wants to work in us and through us to rise and shine (Isaiah 60:1) and show the world His power and authority!

When God is in the driver’s seat, He will get us to our destination safely!

The FIRE and FLOOD of GOD are COMING!

Today I’m starting a new series—the Heart of the Matter—because I believe God wants us to know His heart about what’s happening in the world today, and how He wants us to partner with Him in His upcoming plans. I have three powerful messages I believe I received from the Holy Spirit to share with you, which reveal His heart and desire for us is to understand His all-encompassing love for us.

I received the dreams back in March, and here’s the first:

“My Dear Shannon, you are sensing it—the time has come. My angels have been sent on assignment.

 “You have a glorious inheritance (1 Peter 1:3-5), seek it now, step into it now. For you do not have to wait until you reach heaven to partake in these gifts! They belong to you even now! Do you not know? When someone dies and leaves you something in their will, it is yours. So MANY of My children have NOT picked up their inheritance! It’s SUCH a tragedy! But I AM remedying this thing. It is a lie of our enemy that has overtaken My church. My Son DIED and left these riches to all My people (Philippians 4:19 ESV)—why do you not take it! You, Shannon, have dug into My word and My Spirit revealed it to you. You are only now realizing the power and authority you have in My Son—through My Son! (Psalm 2:7-8; John 3:35; Hebrews 1:4-6; Romans 8:17) Use them! Take them! Show My people! What people say matters! Speak life, healing, prosperity! These are My gifts, and My host harken and DELIVER according to these words! (Psalm 103:20)

“This is the dawn of a new day—My promises are here—have been here, for all to take, grab hold of, and USE!! USE THEM!! When I come, My Glory comes. With My Glory; either blessing or judgment. But My judgment is still merciful—it will bring many to a state of repentance. They will lose much, and this will bring them to their knees… they will be emptied of themselves, for they will not believe their loss… they will realize the only way back up is through My Son. He is the Only Way (John 14:6). They will be stripped bare—all emotions poured out—cleaned by the fire of My Spirit and finally open vessels (Deuteronomy 9:3). Only then can I pour My Spirit into them. I need to burn off the dross (Proverbs 25:4; Isaiah 1:25). Many, many, many, this will happen too. Total refinement. They will lose much… but it must be done to deliver them to the place where they finally accept Me (Zechariah 13:9). Where they finally see My Son, Jesus Christ—AS THE ONLY WAY.

“The time has come. My Spirit is moving—My angels are mobilized. I AM Coming, but this is NOT the end (Micah 1:3). Tell My people, ready their hearts!”

This message is explicit. God shared His heart on what a tragedy it is that His children haven’t accepted their inheritance in Christ, and because they haven’t, the state of their hearts hasn’t been positioned to receive His Spirit.

Everything I share here is based on scripture. I researched the bible about inheritance and came across 1 Peter 1:3-5…and I’ll paraphrase (our inheritance) is “reserved in heaven”. So, I questioned the gifts available until His Spirit arrested me with this revelation: BEHOLD—it’s in the heavenly places… meaning the spiritual realm. If we are seated with Christ and sit in His presence (in faith, we join Him), we claim them out of the spiritual realm when we recognize where we are seated when we are with Christ. I needed to share this impartation before discussing the next portion.

He told us His Spirit is coming, and with it His cleansing FIRE—which burns everything unnecessary off. He said emotions will be poured out and laid bare from it, so I don’t think He’s talking about a physical fire, but His cleansing spiritual fire—the presence of God—because He’s an all-consuming fire (Deuteronomy 4:23-24, Hebrews 12:28-29).

Here's the next word. I felt excited and asked the Lord for insight. I believe He responded with this:

“You are aware the spiritual atmosphere is changing. My angels have been loosed, millions upon millions, to complete their assignments in this hour. They COVER the world over. My Day of Glory is upon Us (the Trinity). We come in unity to fulfill a purpose in a set time—THIS set time. Yes, carved out, reserved for now before the foundations of the earth were created.

“Your adversary tried to sift you out of My kingdom. I would not have it. You are too precious to Me. I used what he meant to harm you and turned it into good. I knew what would happen and where and when you would open your soul to him. And I AM, the Beginning, and the END—the Alpha and Omega (Revelation 22:17)—turned it around and used his tactics against him.

“You, My child, are an overcomer. You have chosen to serve Me. You know I AM for you and not against you (Romans 8:31-33). You let Me into your heart. I would and could NEVER give up on you, My child. I love you too much to lose you to the kingdom of darkness. Serving Me is not a burden (1 John 5:3-9). It only directs you to the path of your purpose and destiny, which is fulfillment beyond compare to anything else you could pursue on your own. (Ephesians 3:20)

“Tell My people what joy I have in store for them if they would just open their heart to My love! How I would lavish gifts and blessing upon them! They do not know how precious they are to Me! I DO NOT want to lose one of them to the kingdom of darkness (2 Peter 3:9)! Yet so many turn away thinking I AM the one creating disaster and tragedy in their life… the enemy has lied and worked them over (John 8:44). So many are doing his bidding as puppets, and they don’t even know it! Tell them to seek Me. Tell them to find Me (Matthew 7:7-8)! For I AM waiting for them, but they must make the first move—I will force no one—they must come to Me willingly. Tell them to allow My Son into their hearts (2 Timothy 2:26). Then, I will only see a past that has been covered by His blood—washed away (1 John 1:7); clean. If they receive the gift of My Son, they are not condemned (Romans 8:1). There is no shame (Zephaniah 3:19), no guilt left (Psalm 32:5). They can be free to step into My presence and into My open arms (John 14:6)! How I wish My children to return to Me! I miss them and love them SO MUCH!! It grieves My heart they are estranged—some even HATE Me, and they don’t even know Me. It breaks My heart. They know not what they’re missing. My children, My children, My precious royal children! Come back to Me! Do you not want joy? Do you not want blessing? Peace? Rest? Come to Me, My dear children, come (Matthew 11:28-30)! Time is growing short!

“The hour is here to choose. Much will happen in the days to come. Please, My children—come into My protection and provision (Psalm 91:14-16). As My Spirit and angels mobilize upon the earth, so too does the enemy. Anyone not under My protection is fair game for the adversary to trample and torment (1 Peter 5:8). He is angry at My move so he will come against you. Anything and everything he will do to hurt My people (John 10:10). Do NOT let him have you. Do NOT let him use you (John 3:19-21). He cares nothing of My people—they are pawns—a means to an end. He lures them to hurt Me and trap My people FOREVER in his kingdom of darkness (Revelation 21:8). A collection to flaunt back at Me, only to throw into the fire to be destroyed and forgotten.

“The hour is upon us. Come to Me, My precious children; come.”

At first, the title of this was The Flood and Fire of God are Coming but His Spirit compelled me to change it. He brings the fire of conviction first, then floods us with His refreshing Spirit—if we allow Him.

The last word is short but beautiful. It’s poetic and sums up this message perfectly for how everyone should prepare for the coming of His Spirit:

“My Dear Shannon, your mind is always busy, always racing. A mind like yours—like many—allows the cares of this world to choke out the good seed that’s growing (Matthew 13:22; 24-30). Sitting with Me pulls out those weeds and allows the good seed to keep growing. That’s why it’s so important to sit with Me DAILY. People must renew their hearts and minds (Romans 12:2) every day or the world’s influences, and trouble will take over (John 16:33). The weeds and vines getting so thick over their heart, it blocks My light. It may get so dense, My living water will no longer seep into it (John 7:37-39)—then hearts get cracked and dried; hardened (Ephesians 4:18). It takes much work to dig through those strong weeds and cut them away to expose what’s buried beneath. Then it takes a long time to water and restore what is dead and cracked. But when I tend to it, the heart WILL ALWAYS come back to life (Matthew 13:14-15; Ezekiel 36:26-27; Malachi 4:6).

“Just don’t let it get to that point—care for your heart in My presence every day. Soaking in the word, My sacraments, nourishing it to remain open to My love and care. You may think it’s open, exposed, and vulnerable—but the covering over your heart is strong bones with a body around it. Strengthen yourself with what I’ve given you—the hedge of My protection (Job 1:10) and the community of believers around you in the body of Christ.”

When I received this, I was reading a book by Nathan French; One: The Power of Unity, and he discusses the condition of the heart and some practical ways to open yourself up to receive God’s Spirit. God wants to restore, renew and refresh your heart, so you can move toward righteous living, which is driven by the Holy Spirit. He will naturally progress you toward success, and who doesn’t want that? It’s a great book, and it’s the 3rd in a series—the other two are It’s NOT Meant To Be A Secret: God Wants To Speak To You! and Rushing The Flood Gates of Heaven. They are all excellent and will help tremendously in your walk with the Lord.

“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” (Matthew 6:21, Luke 12:34 NKJV) We spend time and money in what we put our hope in, and that’s why I call these messages Tuesday Treasure—because My heart belongs to God, and this is how I honor Him—sharing His love with others.

God’s heart is for you. He loves you and cares for you so deeply. He wants you to know this and understand this before it’s too late—in this life or the next.

WATCH YOUR BACK FROM ENEMY ATTACK!

Last week I provided a crossover message between two series, but in my spirit, I felt it necessary to release this message as a prelude to the Heart of the Matter series, considering the time of year—with Halloween around the corner. This is a reminder that a war is raging around us every day despite the time of year, and the devil doesn’t wait for a special occasion to strike. This discusses the importance of guarding your heart from the enemy (and when I refer to the enemy, I’m referring to the devil), so I will include this in the Heart of the Matter series, but it will be labeled as an introduction.

Today I’m going to share a couple of dreams I had after a fun-filled weekend outing with friends that resulted in several attacks from the enemy.

In the first dream, I was in a house I didn’t recognize but I supposed I was viewing houses on the market because I liked the layout and could see myself living there. As I scanned the home, I saw it was cold and grey outside—winter.

The first level was covered with wood flooring, and only a small patch of carpet existed in the family room. Later that night, I knew my mother slept upstairs and my older sister slept downstairs on the couch. Awake, I zipped through the dark halls along the wood floor—my belly hovered just above it as my spirit propelled over the surface. I felt exhilarated and circled the path again and again hoping my sister would peek and see from where she lay how easy and fun it was to go along this path.

That scene ended, and I was whisked into a bathroom with the lights off in the middle of the night. I walked to the toilet, but before I could use it, a shadowy figure—a horrific monkey-like beast—jumped on my back, hung from my neck, and clung to me. I whipped and thrashed around, but its grip only tightened. I knew the only way to remove it was by telling it to go in Jesus’ name. It worked and left, and that was the end of the dream.

On three to four occasions that night, I felt an evil presence in the room—I woke several times and felt as if a snarling entity with saliva dripping from its fangs stared inches from my face. Close enough to scare and taunt me, but no permission to pounce.  

I took it to the Lord, and this is what I believe He said:

"My Dear Beloved Shannon, a war is raging, and the enemy doesn’t need permission to attack if an invitation by that person is granted (James 1:14). All things you mentioned are grounds for the enemy to pounce—watching a TV program can open yourself to demonic activity, or going to a place where unclean spirits reside means you’ve stepped into their territory, and they have a right to attach and torment you (1 Peter 5:8-9, Ephesians 4:27). It could be ANY ONE of these scenarios where you gave a demon the right to be there with you. They take residence until Jesus kicks them out (Mark 3:27, Luke 11:21-22, John 12:31). Only by His name and His power (Luke 10:17), and only by the blood of Jesus, can that bondage break (Hebrews 2:14).

“This is a constant struggle for My children because every day sinful behavior occurs in and around them (1 Corinthians 10:13) and if the enemy has permission to reside somewhere and My people willingly go there—you bet they will attack. Think of the concert venue and the many musicians and music played there—this is a major way the enemy can attack. Music frequency and words can be used (unwittingly through the musician or band) for demonic practices—creating strongholds and disarming tactics.

“You couldn’t see in the spirit there, but don’t you think they could? When you walked in with My light beaming around you, don’t you think you were a beacon? A target? You stepped into an unclean place (depicted by the bathroom in your dream), and even though you didn’t create any filth in there, you came into the enemy’s territory, and they attacked you. It would’ve clung to you and choked you out had you not called on My Son Jesus to get that creature off your back.

“You say this is exhausting, but you must be on guard every day (2 Corinthians 10:4-6, Ephesians 6:10-11). If you are tiring of attacks like this, STOP going into places where you know the adversary is dwelling!”

I felt foolish after receiving this insight. It all stemmed back to the decision I made to go to that concert, that venue. I should’ve known what could’ve happened.

Here’s what I believe the Holy Spirit revealed to me about the rest of the dream:

The house was dark because I allowed evil to dwell there. The depiction of winter outside symbolized death lurking just outside the door because of my decision making. Although I moved fluidly within the house, I remained close to the floor because my spirit was suppressed and unable to work properly because of the wicked and unclean spirits lurking there. The feeling of exuberance existed only because I was ‘saved’, but I couldn’t operate in the Spirit as necessary—at least not until the oppressor was kicked out. My actions did not move or sway my older sister because I was insufficient without the power of Christ.

This was a dream of correction. My behavior led me into the camp of the enemy where they have jurisdiction to gain a foothold—which is usually what sinful behavior brings on—but I came into their territory, allowing them an opportunity to attack and cling to me!

This is an example where a simple choice wreaked havoc. Going to a certain type of concert—a standard practice I engaged in often before coming back to Christ—but doing this when I’m walking in righteousness was like entering the enemy’s camp unarmed with a spotlight on me. Not smart!

This is a stark reminder that we are in a spiritual war and regardless of if we acknowledge it or not, our actions and choices put us at risk of enemy attacks. We need to understand a war for our souls is raging around us and we must do what we can to protect our hearts and minds from it.

I thought about doing a series on spiritual warfare, but the Holy Spirit made me pause and provided a serious word and I think it prudent to share.

The thought came the night before I started reading Forbidden Gates by Tom and Nita Horn. The book discusses the reemergence of the “days of Noah” and several possibilities of how the devil could mix his seed with humanity to pollute our genetic code and accelerate the unveiling of the antichrist and the last days of human history.

I recalled a man named John Paul Jackson who warned about people—who weren’t properly equipped—engaging in spiritual warfare with principalities and spirits (Acts 19:13,15) and they were hurt or killed. (Acts 19:13; 15) and they were hurt or killed. I share this concern not to magnify the enemy, because Jesus Christ is the most powerful being in the universe—His name is above all names (Philippians 2:9-10), but it’s not up to us to engage in spiritual warfare with principalities and entities that we are not equipped to fight. However, as God is preparing and equipping us through our faith walk, the one thing we can do, is protect our heart and mind.

With that, I’ll share what I believe I heard from the Holy Spirit:

"I need you to tell My people how to protect themselves first. It starts in their mind—with their choices (2 Corinthians 10:5). This is weaved into every message you’ve received from Me. Because My people have freewill EVERYTHING that happens to them results from THEIR CHOICES. This is not a secret—it’s the law of cause and effect (1 Corinthians 3:8, Galatians 6:7-8).

“Just like war has tactics, so does spiritual warfare. WISDOM is the WIN factor (Proverbs 4:7). Weapons are not carnal (2 Corinthians 10:4). It is a frame of mind—a SHIFT—from a person wielding a weapon to warring with it (Ephesians 6:17-18), by giving it to GOD. The battle MUST BE GIVEN TO ME (2 Chronicles 20:15). David understood this with Goliath (1 Samuel 17:45-47). He was young and weak (1 Samuel 17:33). BUT I USE WEAKNESS, or what appears to be weakness by human standards, and I AM STRONG through it (2 Corinthians 12:9). David was meek, not weak, and this mind-set allowed Me to fight on his behalf (Matthew 5:5). IT WAS ME FIGHTING THROUGH HIM (Deuteronomy 20:4). Only when people understand this mind-shift, might they engage in this. It can be taught, but at an individual level. A commander in an army can train only if he knows the tactics (Matthew 15:14). He trains corporately and hopes his troops grasp it.

“My training is different. It’s one on one (Luke 12:7). If someone is a commander in the army of God, it is only because the King has promoted them Himself (Philippians 2:13). This is not something that can be taught to someone that hasn’t undergone the ‘mind—shift’ into how kingdom business works in the heavens (Matthew 6:10).

“Earth is fashioned out of heavenly order (Hebrews 8:5). The court system is emulated, so is military ranking. People did not come up with it. I, the King, did—who sits enthroned overall (Psalm 29:10). Therefore, it is I WHO MAKES THE CALL. I decide who gets promoted. I decide who receives the honor (1 Samuel 2:7). Do not engage in a task you have not been given. Do not advance if I have not asked (Proverbs 16:9). Don’t take it up on your own. For I, the Lord, give commands FROM MY THRONE.”

It is only God’s voice that gives the command. Picking up certain tasks is not up to a human. Don’t do what you have not been given to do. If you engage in certain types of spiritual warfare when the Lord has not given you direction to do so, it is at your own risk (Acts 19:13-16).

But God does not want us to be a doormat. We can protect our own mind from the enemy’s tactics (Luke 11:24-26). Start there before engaging in spiritual warfare. Your mind must undergo the shift that occurred with David before he fought Goliath. He turned the fight over to God.

Just like soldiers work their way up the ranks in the military, there is a training period that must take place with the Holy Spirit (John 16:13-15). When you meet with Him on a consistent basis (Matthew 6:33), you learn His voice (John 10:27) and build an understanding of what and where your assignment is—if you aren’t sure, ask Him. If you’ve built a meaningful relationship with God, He will make it clear what you should and shouldn’t do (Psalm 37:23). 

Here’s a motto to remember: Do not go on a mission unless you’ve been given permission and you’ve been appointed to the position!

VITAL MESSAGE ABOUT THE FUTURE!

Last week, I shared a revelation of what God gave me regarding this upcoming election, and people will either love or hate it. But I’m only releasing God's insight, so people can either listen to what He says, or they can reject it. I started this channel to share what God tells me, and say what He wants people to know. You don’t have to agree with it, but God provided guidance on the matter and revealed what the future looks like if we choose His anointed president. Today God has it in my heart to release a cross between message as a segue from “The Power of the Next Generation” series into “The Heart of the Matter” series.

God’s Spirit was heavy when giving this word, and it’s another release of what the future holds, so I’ll dive into the meaning after I share it.

I asked God to reveal to me what He wants His people to know, and I believe He answered with this:

“Do you know the feelings and attitudes of My people as they crossed the desert with gold and riches from their Egyptian taskmasters (Exodus 12:35)? Where their sandals never lost form or broke (Deuteronomy 29:5), where I provided light (Exodus 13:21-22), protection, guidance (Exodus 33:15, 17), food (Exodus 16:4; 12), and water (Exodus 17:6)? Do you know?" 

He stopped for a moment and wanted an answer. I responded with this:

“I can only understand the reverence and awe of these events! If I witnessed these miraculous things—I would come unglued at Your care and concern. I wonder how some saw and experienced them and did NOT come unglued at Your Majesty!”

“There are many who see the miraculous and do not marvel that it was Me (Exodus 34:10). They explain it away as coincidence or science, or some other such nonsense. Just like it is now, it was like that back then—there are ALWAYS people who discredit Me and My actions and wave it off as an anomaly of nature. This is NOT SO! I AM the One Who does it!

“There is a time when My awesome deeds and Acts will BE SEEN, and EVERYONE will know it is ME! The earth will shudder with this shift. The people’s SOULS will shudder with this great and awesome shift! It is time to shift the heart of this world to Me (Luke 1:17)! Many hearts will turn!

“As My people had to cross the Red Sea to get to their freedom and for Me to rescue them from their oppressors, so TOO, This Day the people will need the CROSS of the Son to receive freedom and rescue (John 8:36)!

“Hear Me! The path of the desert was only to be eleven days to get to the promised land! This is all it would take if they just believed, trusted in Me, and looked to ME for their guidance, provision, and protection!

“IN THESE DAYS I WILL DO GREAT AND MIGHTY THINGS AND PEOPLE WILL WONDER—IS IT REALLY GOD? AND OTHERS WILL FALL ON THEIR KNEES IN TRUE WONDER AND AWE AND KNOW WITHOUT A SHADOW OF DOUBT WHO PERFORMED THE MIRACULOUS.

“Who will you be? The camp of the enemy doubts Me. Those who choose to follow Me—even though it looks like I send them into the desert wilderness and STILL look to Me and trust Me—these people will receive a blessing! Did I not rescue My people during the Exodus? Did I not remove their oppressors from their sight (Hebrews 11:29)? Did I not provide for their every need in the desert? Will I NOT take care of My people? How can they leave the land of their oppressors and get where I want them—in the promised land—if they do not take the path I ordained for them? Because of their mistrust and their doubt, the crossing of the desert took 40 YEARS (Psalm 95:8-11, Hebrews 3:15-19)! My People! If you come to Me, know that I will care for thee! I do NOT send you into a wilderness to fend for yourself. It may look bad and desolate, BUT I WILL PROVIDE! I AM JEHOVAH JIREH!

“When people cry out to Me, it must be with their whole heart! Not just because I can provide for them—which I will if they come to Me—but they must know of My love for them and want to return this love to Me. When the time comes, surrender completely and trust Me (Mark 12:30)—know that My love is so full, so grand, so encompassing it will keep you whole, and provide hope and healing.

“I AM merciful and kind. Even if you have toiled and struggled under sin, I NEVER turn anyone away. I just ask that you surrender to Me your heart, because the heart of the matter is—love is sacrifice (1 John 4:10). I gave My One and Only Son, so YOU could be rescued (1 Timothy 2:5-6). YOU could have freedom. YOU can have restoration. What are YOU waiting for? Come to Me! Trust Me! Lean on Me for all your needs (Proverbs 3:5-6)!

“Do not fear and do not doubt. For like in the days of old, the cross was only to be eleven days to receive the promise I had for My people. But alas, anyone who does not turn fully and completely to what My Son did on the cross during this season—woe to them, as they will die in the desolation of the desert wilderness that’s coming (John 5:24). For those surrendered to Me will have My care and concern. But those who don’t will be consumed and condemned. The hour is at hand.

“Thus says the Lord God Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth, whom by His Breath spoke all into existence, and can speak it back into dust.” (Genesis 2:7 NIV, Psalm 103:14, Ecclesiastes 3:20).

Sobering words. Many times, we get so focused on the prophecy we overlook what He’s asking us to do. I came to this conclusion after a strange phenomenon occurred. I grabbed my water bottle and resting around the top was a bracelet—our church made them with a verse from Micah to remind us to have GRIT—Grow in Respect, Integrity, and Truth. My husband didn’t place it there, nor did I. However it got there, I wore it and committed to reading it, because I knew the Holy Spirit wasn’t necessarily highlighting the verse on the bracelet (6:8).

When I began reading, Micah 1:2-3 struck a chord. I knew this is what God wanted me to share. It says, “Hear, all you peoples! Listen. O earth, and all that is in it! Let the Lord God be a witness against you, The Lord from His holy temple. For behold, the Lord is coming out of His place; He will come down and tread on the high places of the earth.”

He’s told us He’s coming, and I’ve shared that with you. His Spirit is on the move and will come as a FLOOD. Focus on WHY He’s telling us. He wants everyone to turn their heart toward Him. It’s not a secret that He’s coming. He shares it with us to prepare us. He wants us to change our heart’s posture toward Him—fully and completely. The Holy Spirit said it’s as easy as reading Micah 1:2-3!

This is accepting Jesus Christ and surrendering our heart to trust Him and His will. We aren’t supposed to get into fear—we are to rejoice and celebrate (Psalm 107:31) that He is rescuing His righteous! And He’s telling us in advance!

So, if we aren’t in the camp of the righteous remnant yet, we need to be! If you haven’t accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, it’s time to do it. Download the Prayer of Salvation which is on this website. This is the first step to allow Christ into your heart. Then get yourself a bible—I like the Jeremiah Study Bible because the insight this teacher provides is excellent. There was a reflection that prompted me to focus on our response rather than focus on what happens around us. It’s why God wanted the prophets of old to give these warnings.

It’s also why God wants to highlight two verses in Psalm 78. The first is 6, which tells the next generation to remember the wonderful works God performed in the days of old, and the next is verse 41, which says the people’s unbelief and doubt limited God’s help in the desert—yes, this ties back to the Exodus!

What does God want us to know here? That unbelief and doubt will limit His power for you! Do you think this is rampant today? Get ready, because when His Spirit comes, He brings His personality with Him. His glory, righteousness, truth, and justice. His justice will raise the righteous and cut down the wicked at this hour.

God is making it known that wiping out the wicked is going to be a messy business. But we aren’t to focus on that. We are to focus on Christ and celebrate what He’s doing on our behalf—rescuing the righteous, while evil is eradicated. It’s going to be hard to watch as I said that a few weeks ago in another video. Those who do not act on this warning will experience tumultuous trouble. It helps people recognize there is a God, and He’s just as active today as He was in the past. He still performs miracles and offers redemption.

It’s all about the cross. During the cross of the desert in Exodus, the hearts of God’s people were exposed (Hebrews 8:2 NIV). Some who experienced the miracles doubted and didn’t believe God could get them through the wilderness. I believe this is another time when everything hinges on the cross. Only this time, it’s the cross of Jesus.

This was so heavy in my heart and why I underlined each use of the word ‘cross’ in this blog!

I believe God is planning something BIG. It won’t only affect our nation, but the world—as Micah 1:2-3 stated. After we see these signs and wonders, which camp will you be in? Will you cross through the desert and trust God? Or will you watch the wonders of God, and doubt it was Him?

I believe something similar may happen—it might look like a desert wilderness for a while, but God reassured His people back then He would have the victory. Read the story in Exodus chapter 14. The people only needed to stand still, and let God take care of things—just like He’s saying right now (1 John 5:3-5). People today may find it hard to stand still and let God do what He needs to do, but this is for the good of the people. In the Exodus they trusted God to get them through it. The same applies today. Will you look at the cross when things happen?

Back then, all God’s people crossed the Red Sea. I believe all people will witness how God is moving, but their heart posture will be tested afterward. Will you be in the camp of the doubters and unbelievers who get stuck in the desert of desolation? Or will you be in the camp of those who look in awe at the wonders of God and cross into His protection and provision through Christ? The choice should be as easy as reading Micah one, two, three!

ALARMING ELECTION REVELATION—

WHAT DOES THE FUTURE HOLD?

Today I was going to start a new series, but God has it in my heart to release something urgent regarding the power of the next generation. He recalled two POWERFUL dreams from years ago that hinge on whether the Next Generation will even HAVE POWER. This next election depends on it!

I believe a CLASH is on the horizon. You’ve heard me talk about a flood coming, and God revealed to me He’s flooding the earth with His Spirit. But the enemy (and when I refer to the enemy, I’m talking about the devil) also brings his forces. As God rises through His people, so does the enemy come against them.

This is a battle for souls. We either want God’s good plan for our lives (Jeremiah 29:11), or we don’t. Remember, God is always for you (Romans 8:31). He wants you to have every good and perfect thing (James 1:17). He wants to bless you. But He won’t force us to receive Him and receive the good plan He has for us—it’s our choice to seek Him and accept it (Matthew 6:33).  

After I tell the dreams and what they mean—it’s still your choice whether you accept them. 

My father had the first dream—he told me about it, and I took it to the Lord for interpretation. In the dream, he was under a tree reading a book about boats to one of his grandchildren. The president walked toward him as if he was an old friend and gave him a watch, saying, “give this to Shannon.” The watch was a maritime watch, and that was the end of the dream.

I believe the Lord revealed a generational theme—as my father perched under the tree of life, he was teaching his grandchild ‘how to stay afloat (in God's Spirit)’—represented by the book about boats. My father views the president as a person of authority and, out of respect, will heed instructions. Their friendliness signifies an alignment of moral beliefs, which makes it easy for them to get along and for my father to be entrusted with carrying out the request.

The maritime watch is significant, and I believe it represents the flood of God’s Spirit coming around the time of this presidential election. He gave the watch to me because it is time for my generation to step up and keep the next generation (represented by the grandchild) afloat by engaging God’s Spirit in this hour. We need to act in faith and choose the person God has anointed to sit in the highest office of the land. Only if the young generation steps up to vote for this person will they choose God's favor for this nation. We need to agree with God’s chosen, because only ONE is more aligned with God’s will.

The second dream was mine—I received it years ago and the only thing I knew at the time was that it had to do with engaging the upcoming generation of believers. In the dream, I was a newlywed and pregnant—very close to giving birth. We moved so I could take a job for the president. Late one night as I set up the nursery, I saw a plane go down in the distance, in a thick forest. I somehow knew it was Airforce One, and I wanted to help.

In the middle of the pitch-black night, I found the wreckage in the thickest part of the trees. I trudged through the swamp and saw the president being swept away in a river. Naturally, I jumped in after him. The buoyance of my pregnancy somehow helped us out of the current and I grabbed a log on the side of the shore. Then I saw a 12-year-old girl struggling on the other side. Once I knew the president was secure, I helped the girl. Had I not been there, she would’ve drowned. That was the end of the dream.  

Here’s what I believe it means; moving into the new house for a new job meant I stepped into the next assignment God ordained for me, and He shared valuable insight with me as I followed Him. If I hadn’t moved with His Spirit, I wouldn’t have seen the plane go down. By taking action to help with the plane crash, I prevented the president from being swept away. And if I didn’t prop up the president to stabilize him, I wouldn’t have seen the girl, and she would’ve died.

This dream came in 2020, and I voted for this president. After he crashed into the swamp and the river almost swept him away, the current generation helped prop him up. And once the president is secured, we'll be able to focus on keeping the next generation afloat.

This is conditional. The next generation chooses God’s favor and the opportunity for freedom and abundant life if they choose to elect the person God picked for the job.

If you aren’t sure who I’m speaking about, it’s the president that took the seat of Commander-in-Chief during his first term and crashed into the swamp of everything the deep state conjured. As he fought through it, it almost swept him away. But the ones who saw the truth—that he was for the people—knew he was doing our country a favor. He tried exposing deep, dark, secrets, and cleaning the swamp so we the people wouldn’t get trapped in those murky waters. Not only did we vote for him, but we also stayed with him, cheered for him, and prayed for him. Donald Trump is God’s anointed, and if we don’t secure him into the highest seat of the land, the next generation won’t stay afloat!

As I pondered this, the Lord brought up the movie, The Gladiator. God can use anything He wants to make a point—even a secular movie.

The Lord brought to my attention the struggle Maximus endured has some profound parallels to President Trump’s journey. If you haven’t seen the movie, Maximus was a general in the Roman army. He fought for freedom and country because he respected Ceasar and his ideals to keep it governed for the people by the people. Before his death, Ceasar declared his wish for Maximus to take charge until the corruption was eradicated from the Senate and power returned to the people. This was to happen instead of naming his son as heir to the throne because he knew his motivations were greedy and would lord his whims over the kingdom.

Upon learning of his father’s (Ceasar’s) dying wish, the son killed him before he announced Maximus as his successor. The son becomes Ceasar and offered Maximus a place in his new regime if only he knelt in allegiance to him.

Maximus knew the king’s own son murdered him. So, he refused the arrangement and planned to revolt with his army. However, the new Ceasar stripped Maximus of his title, sentenced him to death, and killed his family before he could make known the wishes of the murdered king. But Maximus escaped death and for the rest of the movie battled to claw himself out of slavery and bondage of the new Ceasar’s oppressive rule.

I beleive the Holy Spirit showed me this—Donald Trump is His champion—God's chosen leader to grant the power back to the people for this nation, while the existing regime wants to maintain power and control and continue deceiving the people. Therefore, assassination attempts, slander, impeachment, and controlling the narrative have plagued Trump since he saw the corruption when taking office the first time.

But just like Maximus—who had everything taken but still fought for the idea his beloved Ceasar dreamt of—Trump keeps going. Even with attempts on his life and the constant barrage of attacks coming after him personally, and in the social arena, he fights to restore power to the people. Despite the despicable, evil, and inhumane attacks on him and his family, he still fights for what is right and what God wants for us.  

Some people may still be in a state where deception and lies still cover the lens of their perspective, but the time has come where it must be cleaned and exposed. Donald Trump is the man God hand-picked for such a time as this to lead our nation out of oppression, into freedom, and into the next phase the Lord has in store for this country and the world.

God is telling us in advance how to restore freedom and opportunity. Tired of living in lack? Tired of restrictions on freedom? Then let's position ourselves for what God wants to give us.

This is a revelation for what’s in store for the future. God is telling us plainly which person will pave the way to peace and prosperity and who will not. This is not just politics; this is YOUR future. Do you want the party that promotes life, liberty, and justice? Or do you want the one that promotes death, destruction, and deceit? Think about the mobile truck at the DNC providing abortions (that’s death whether or not you believe it) and vasectomies to relieve men of their reproductive rights (that destroys their chance for having children in the future). The same party promotes the lie that someone becomes a different sex after surgery. Hacking off body parts is permanent and life-altering. It changes a person through mutilation—it doesn’t transform someone's DNA into the gender they were promised. Irreversible damage is done and it's deceitful.

Ask yourself which future you want—one that promotes death and destruction? Or abundant life and freedom (John 10:10)?

God works through people (Ephesians 2:10). We don’t look at Trump as a savior—Jesus is and remains the Savior (Luke 2:11)—but Trump IS God’s anointed to lead us through this time. If you’re serious about hearing God—which I talked about in the previous series, Hearing God—pay attention to this. If you want to have a future of hope and freedom—God is telling you how! God is revealing the answer to you! If you always wanted to know what tomorrow holds, this is it. This is the time to step out in faith and not only hear what God is saying, but listen and obey (James 1:22-25 NLT). This is your leap of faith for the good future God wants for you (Jeremiah 29:11).

As always, it’s our choice—the choice of the people. God doesn’t force anyone to choose Him or His good plan, but He will give us what we choose (Romans 1:28)—so be mindful who you vote for! I’m not telling you how to vote. God is. Only God provides freedom, the enemy does not (Galatians 5:1). God will show us the way (Jon 14:6). We just need to follow. The enemy will steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10a) to oppress and control—and use people to do it. Do not let the enemy have control over you and your future (Ephesians 6:12)!

OCTOBER EVENT?

HOW TO RESPOND!

Today I’m expanding on last week’s message—part one of the new series “The Power of The Next Generation” which included a powerful word and a strong warning against the ‘religious spirit’ (or rules and traditions-based religion in the church). These are traditions people have instituted that go above and beyond what God has done through Jesus Christ for people to have salvation. Nothing extra needs to be added on top of what Jesus did for people to receive redemption.

I’m noticing a theme with the dreams and revelation from the Lord, and most pertain to His bride (the church). After I shared the warning to the church last week, I also shared a word to build up His bride—which was a powerful message from the Holy Spirit confirming her blessings and inheritance and provided encouragement for her to step into the future God prepared for her. This week I’m sharing a dream that talks about how to get on the path to your purpose and destiny with another powerful word I received that confirms who we are in Christ once we choose Him.

In the dream, we celebrated—I was getting married. It was to a man I worked with briefly in the past—good-looking but shallow, and only cared about money and status. I wasn’t fond of him back then. However, in my dream, I knew he wasn’t like that—my perception of him before was incorrect. I now knew him to be rich in character (doing and saying all the right things) and he was deeply devoted to our relationship.

It must’ve been our engagement party because many gifts surrounded us! But my fiancé told me he had business to attend to and left. At that point, my father drove me and my older sister, who was in the passenger seat, to my house and my dad helped me carry in the gifts. I was disappointed I couldn’t open them, but it was a fleeting thought because I knew I would have an opportunity to do it the next day with my future husband.

Knowing he was working, I decided to help him with the job. He had multiple semi-trucks loaded for delivery (I did not know the contents) and his boss hand-picked the drivers. Most were adults our age, but three children about 12-13 years old were part of the group. A blonde girl, a nameless/faceless boy, and my son. None of them showed any fear of driving those big rigs, and I didn’t doubt their ability to do it. All I was concerned about was my job—which was to run ahead and prepare the way for the crew.

I ran with purpose and perseverance, knowing my fiancé was watching. I did not grow weary, and I ran faster than the line of semi’s heading out. I hoped to impress my fiancé with my energy, stamina, and speed—and I felt his approval as he watched me reach my destination. But it wasn’t our final destination—just a gated crossing—resembling passing through a border with gatekeepers in booths. We needed to regroup.

All the adults discussed plans for the next leg of the journey. At this point, I felt uneasy with my son driving the next part. I offered to drive, even though I didn’t know how, but I knew I had more skills than he did to take the lead at that juncture. A couple of women discussed doing the same thing for the girl, but I didn’t know the verdict. But no one said anything about the other boy.

I wondered what we were delivering and why the boss would select young children to drive, but it didn’t matter. I followed the instructions of my fiancé’s boss because I wanted to help my future husband with his work. Then the dream ended.

Here's what I believe the Holy Spirit revealed to me: my fiancé symbolized Christ. Before I got to know Him and understand His character in a personal way—my perception of Him wasn’t correct. Before, I saw Him as an ominous-stand-offish God that doesn’t have time to focus on anyone as an individual. But according to Luke 10:15, this is NOT true, and the verse is an invitation for us to get to know Christ personally. Once you seek Him for yourself, you will understand His love and devotion toward you.

In the dream, both of us were giddy to start our journey together. God rejoices over our acceptance of Jesus (Luke 15:10, Zephaniah 3:17), so the gifts represented everything we receive by choosing Christ (Philippians 4:19). But we had work to do. And when my father and older sister took me ‘home’, it represented the older generation helping the “current” generation get to a place where we can pick up where they left off—because they’ve done their job.

For the first leg of the journey, everyone was equipped and performed their duties without hesitation (Hebrews 13:21 NIV). Christ watched and was pleased; this was the approval I felt—that everyone ran their race well (Hebrews 12:1). The massive semi-trucks represented the Holy Spirit, and the “boss” represented God the Father. The border represents a crossroads and a time coming when everyone in their faith journey will be required to stop and reevaluate if they want to move ahead. The only way to move forward—where God wants us to go—is in the power of the Holy Spirit. One must let His Spirit rule and reign in them and through them to go where God is leading them. The three children represented the “next” generation.

When I took over for my son, it was a sign that my generation has some skills to help navigate, but we need to keep learning how to operate in God's Spirit and teach the next generation. The girl represented a portion of this next generation that may sometimes receive help from the current generation, but sometimes not. And the last boy, the nameless/faceless one that no one discussed helping, God revealed He, Himself, would step in and lead him. The boy did not get ignored. The boss Himself called him, and not one of these little ones—including the girl who received help part of the time—would be left without help (Matthew 19:14).

The feeling of uneasiness that surfaced—whether the journey was good or bad didn’t matter, (not knowing the cargo or the destination) because I put my trust in the ‘boss’ and not my own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). God gives His people the resources they need to move on their journey and complete their assignments (2 Corinthians 9:8). His Bride will be equipped to teach the next generation how to let the Holy Spirit lead where God the Father wants them to go.

We need to let the Holy Spirit lead us if we want to go where God wants to take us. I talked about this last week—it’s critical we let the Holy Spirit lead us and break free from religious or ‘man-made’ traditions. We need to let go of anything that tells us God doesn’t speak to His people today, or perform signs, miracles, and wonders anymore. God still has plans for humanity. He’s still fulfilling His purposes, and we need to decide if we will allow Him to move us where He wants to lead us and be part of His plans.

This next portion is a revelation the Lord downloaded into my soul when I spent time with Him one morning. I believe He said:

“Do you even get who you are in Christ? Heirs of the Living God! And if He is King, does this not make us royalty? Princes and princesses? If we are part of His kingdom and living according to His will, does this not mean we represent Him and should rule and reign in His name? Do you not know what this means? We are royalty and we have a responsibility to carry this position and title with heads held high (1 Peter 2:9-10)! Do not be afraid and do not be ashamed to represent Him and His kingdom! For if we cower or deny our Lord, He will deny us (Mark 8:38). But if we are faithful and loyal to Him—defend His honor and Kingship—will He not do the same for us (1 John 1:9-10)? In history, this happened with lords and ladies—whoever they gave allegiance to and fought for—in return, the king protected them and gave them a place in the kingdom (Psalm 91:9-16). And if we believe in the bible, our King has the victory (John 16:33). HE HAS ALREADY WON, AND THAT MEANS THE VICTORY IS OURS AS WELL (1 John 5:5). He knows what happens in the future (Isaiah 46:10) and tells us! It is not a mystery (Colossians 1:26-27)! Why would we not align ourselves with the King of the Universe, who knows the end from the beginning and is declared the Victor (Revelation 21:6, Mark 13:32)? For me, the answer is simple. My liege lord is the God of Creation—Jesus Christ (John 1:1-3)—not because He protects me as a peasant, but because I am His daughter and an heir in His kingdom (Romans 8:14,17), whom He showers with gifts and honor and gives me a place at His table even with my enemies just outside the door (Psalm 23:5).”

He also gives me a place in His Kingdom to rule and reign in His name if I choose to do so, and I DO! As the bride says, “I do!”, I want the good future He has prepared for me (Jeremiah 29:11)! I want to expand His Kingdom and work in the family business! Royalty? Yes, please!

We are not just believers receiving God’s blessings; we are His favored family receiving all the riches of our heavenly Father! KNOW WHO YOU ARE IN CHRIST! This should strengthen you and ignite your faith! By the blood of Jesus, we have a royal heritage! Certain people can ignore this, reject it, and live like a peasant—toiling for pennies and a pittance, or people can rise and take their place where Christ seated them (Ephesians 2:6), and take what He has given them as an heir of His Kingdom—peace (John 14:27, Philippians 4:7), prosperity (Proverbs 10:22), protection (2 Thessalonians 3:3), provision (Deut. 8:18) and power (Colossians 1:10-12).

If His righteous remnant let His Spirit rule and reign through them, He is unstoppable (Matthew 19:26)! Yes, surrendering to Christ means salvation and eternal life, but it is SO MUCH MORE. Look at all the benefits and blessings I just mentioned with scripture to back it up. What will you choose? For with this message, I inform you—Jesus is knocking at your door (Revelation 3:20-22).

The last part of the message the Holy Spirit gave me was this—We are living in a Psalm 37 time and the coming of the Lord’s Spirit will wipe the wicked out of this world (verses 14-15, 17), and He will raise up His righteous royal remnant, and everyone will see (verse 6; 17)! He is not talking about the rapture. If you look at verses 18-19, 22, 24-25, and 27-29, He says it will happen in the land, and God will protect His people in good and bad times—how can that be if we aren’t on earth? It states the righteous will witness the destruction of the wicked (verse 34, NIV). It is a time when God is pouring out His Spirit and He’s coming like a flood!

If you position yourself in the palm of His hand by accepting Christ, He will never let you go (John 10:28-30). You are one of His and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deut. 31:6)

In my spirit I felt something was going to happen in October… I received this back in August. I record these well in advance, so it’s not a coincidence this is being released now. We are not to fear but have FAITH in God at this time. “For those who are evil will be destroyed” (Psalm 37:9) and if you “commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun.” (Psalm 37:5-6) You know what this means? EVERYONE in the world will look upon the righteous remnant and KNOW IT WAS GOD who vindicated them!

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9 NIV)

WARNING TO THE CHURCH 

BLESSING FOR THE BRIDE

In last week’s message, I mentioned a potential ‘event’ from a dream that may occur in the future, and the response from the people witnessing it—including the church. Today I’m releasing two powerful revelations I received from God about the religious spirit of the church, (which stems from the traditions of men which are void of God’s Spirit and leads by human rules (Mark 7:6-9), and an encouraging message for His Bride—those who are true followers of Christ.

It begins with a warning. It wasn’t a coincidence I read the introduction of the book Prophet Arise, by John Eckhardt, and he provided a list of reasons God may seem silent. Number 8 caught my attention. It reads: ‘The traditions of men are elevated to the position of Scripture.’ This resonated with me and I recalled a word I believed the Holy Spirit had given to me back in February of this year, which included the phrase ‘traditions of men’ as well.

I received this word during a time I felt burnt out and I shied away from going to church. This is the second half of the message, so what I share starts smack in the middle. It may come as a shock and some people might not like it, but I’m only releasing what I believe came from the Holy Spirit. If anyone will hear what God is saying in this hour, leave your heart and mind opened for this message.

This is what I believe I heard:

“Stay in My presence—you will have peace and rest so long as you feast at My table (Psalm 23:5). Come share in the joy of My sacraments. It is TRULY My body and My blood and gives healing to your body and soul (Matthew 26:26-28, John 6:53-57). It is truly a physical way to receive refreshment. You should get it weekly. That’s why it’s there for you. I did not set these practices in motion to be symbolic. It is true power and truly Me you are receiving (2 Timothy 1:7). Why do you think the devil wants to keep you away and make you think you’re burnt out? To keep you away from this blessing… that’s why.

“Yes, you are thinking of the ritualistic elements of My church. The liturgy and the other traditions of men that sometimes make it seem like a ‘checklist’ rather than a Spirit filled encounter. My Dear Shannon, My messages have to have structure. It started that way to get all the important steps to make sure everything was covered (confession, forgiveness and the like). But then, in some churches, the ‘traditions of men’ let it grow into a monotonous and mundane ‘track record’ of events.

“That is not the way it should be, and I’m shaking things up. The feeling you have—that the Holy Spirit’s power is limited—is how I feel about it. I’m working in the hearts of the leaders—as you have prayed as well. While certain elements of the ‘structure’ will remain in place, the methodical and mundane will be removed. My Spirit will lead My church—you wait and see (Galatians 5:25).”

This is not an attack on the church. It’s a warning to understand that God is making changes, and we should embrace where His Spirit is leading us (1 Thessalonians 5:19-22 NLV). Just like the encouragement the Lord gave me at the beginning of the word—to remain in His presence and continue feasting at His table—I encourage you to find a local church. We need to stay in community with each other and be in one accord to allow the Holy Spirit to work in us and through us (Acts 2:42-47, NKJV). These are dark times, and God’s people need to rise together with Him and shine above it (Matthew 5:14-16). God’s power and authority never waned (Hebrews 13:8), and the victory is still His (1 John 5:4-5). God wants to do this through His church, but many believers doubt His power and don’t believe He can still perform signs, miracles, and wonders.

But if we live with a faith like that in the books of ‘Acts,’—it’s possible! Acts 4:29-30 reads, “Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness. Stretch out your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus.”

Jesus already ascended at that point. So, how did the disciples expect Jesus to perform these miracles, signs, and wonders they asked for? Through His followers! And they did! And if Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), why aren’t these happening right now? Look at the next verse. “After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.” The difference was they prayed to have the Holy Spirit to speak boldly through them, and have Him stretch out His hand to perform miracles through them in the name of Jesus (John 14:13-14). When was the last time you heard anyone ask for healing in the name of Jesus? It’s not THEIR hand that’s stretched out to heal, it’s the Holy Spirit working through them in Jesus’ name who is healing. Jesus said His followers would do even greater things than He did in John 14:12-14. 

But we’re also told believers would limit His power one day. 2 Timothy 3:1 and 5a says, “But mark this: there will be terrible times in the last days. Having a form of godliness but denying its power.” Do you know any churches that have a form of godliness but have no signs of His power? Could they be denying it with their doubt?

The disciples back then prayed for the Holy Spirit to work boldly through them and relied on Him to do it. I believe God wants to do the same today. He wants His people to rule and reign in His power and authority and receive blessings like healing once again. Again, it’s not OUR power and authority making it happen—it’s Him working through us.

So, how do we allow Him to do that?

Here’s another word I received back in March to encourage His bride and address this question. I believe this prepares us for the coming move of His Spirit. I believe He said:

“I AM THE KING! I AM THE KING WHO GOES BEFORE YOU! (Micah 2:13) Do not fear, do not worry! For I AM not only WITH you, I go BEFORE you to pave the way (Deut. 31:6, 8). You’ve heard the stories; the Red Sea, the walls of Jericho, healing the lame and the blind… can I NOT do that today? For I come! I AM coming! Wait until you see what I do! The WORLD will be amazed! (Psalm 33:8) Take Heart! For I have overcome the world! (John 16:33) My Spirit does! This is the day! It is coming! The age of restoration for My Bride… you will be raised up and exalted with Me. (Philippians 2:9-11, Ephesians 2:6-7) We are One, and together, with all POWER and AUTHORITY, we will take this world back! (1 John 5:5) No longer will my bride be defeated… we are together, and I GO BEFORE HER! To protect HER! To avenge HER! Vengeance is MINE! (Romans 12:19) My bride has been scorned, trampled, beaten and shamed. NO MORE! I LIFT HER UP for she is MINE, and I LOVE HER. (2 Cor. 11:2) I AM FED UP WITH how the world treats HER. SHE IS MINE and I AM HERS! (Song of Solomon 2:16) I PAVE THE WAY FOR HER SUCCESS AND PROSPERITY. (Job 36:11) SHE IS TO BE MY QUEEN AND CAN NO LONGER BE DEFILED.

“HEAR ME! IT IS NOT MY BRIDE WHO DEFILES HERSELF—I HAVE CLEANSED HER! SHE IS CLEAN AND IS READY TO TAKE HER PLACE! (Ephesians 5:25-27) She struggled and not felt her worth, clothing herself with dirty rags and acting like a pauper. Will she not be queen? Step into your inheritance, My BRIDE! (Colossians 1:12) Why do you not take on and wear the white robes I have prepared for you?! Step into them and clothe yourselves with My purity, righteousness, authority, and power! (Revelation 19:7-8) You do not need to continue wearing the rags you previously owned! You have been redeemed, so act like it! Accept and USE the gifts I’ve given you! You appeared tortured and tattered, but I did not come down to earth and do what I did on the cross—took the weight of the world’s sin and suffered under it, to break you free from the curse (Galatians 3:13-14)—so you could live like you are still fallen. Get up! Take My gifts! I have adorned My bride with everything she needs to overcome! (1 John 5:4-5)

“Do you not know you have victory in Me? I already rescued you! Now is the time My Bride—stand with Me and know that I go before you, and I have equipped you with every good and perfect gift (James 1:17) to allow you to rise in strength and honor in My power and authority because we are BETROTHED! You now have everything I have! Is this not how marriage works? All that I AM, all that I have—I give to you, MY BRIDE! Take it! Use it! Do not refuse My gifts—this is a disrespectful and prideful thing—respect and honor the head. Do not offend My Father by refusing the gifts I give you—take them, use them. (Mark 3:28-29) Step into your rightful inheritance (1 Cor. 1:4-9). If you had to wait until you got to heaven to use them, My Life’s work—to redeem humanity—what would be the purpose of it if you cannot take hold of it in your humanity? It was done so you could live an abundant life on earth! (John 10:10b) Yes, you have other rewards in Heaven, but do not think for one moment I do not want to shower My bride with gifts, overflowing and generous while she’s still on earth.

“You represent me, and I love you…more than staying in this place of power and authority alone (John 6:38)… I cared so deeply for you; I gave up everything to have you with Me… but I AM God. So, as I gave everything for you, I still sit in the heavenlies—in all power, authority and might. But now, because of My Son, power, and dominion is restored (Jude 1:25)—as I, the God of the universe—restored His life and raised Him from the dead. He willingly laid Himself down for you (1 John 3:16), and not only is He in His rightful place, but His name is also above all names because of His sacrifice, (Philippians 2:9-11) and He has restored you to Me. Act like it. He’s not coming for a defeated church. He is coming for a bride who knows her place, who walks in strength with her head held high, knowing who her King is and what He can do. Put your trust in His power in this hour. The time has come.”

This was such a powerful word from the Lord, I needed no other explanation. Just let it resonate within you. Let His message enter the depths of your heart and spur you to act in faith to follow Him.

Receive this message with an open heart and mind and allow yourself to be part of what God is doing in this hour. He would love for you to be a part of it, and not let it pass you by. Allow His Spirit to live and reign within you, and only then will it be possible to watch the power and authority manifest through you—His bride.

TUMULTUOUS TIMES AHEAD!

THE POWER OF THE NEXT GENERATION (Part 1)

Today I’m releasing a new series that starts with a dream that discusses the importance and power of the next generation—those reigniting their faith or coming into faith—and a potential event(s) that will determine if, or when, they will achieve their purpose and destiny. 

I thought little of this dream until I believed the Holy Spirit revealed its significance to me. The entire message is about YOU—this is a NOW word pertaining to the people God wants to speak to. It’s not a coincidence I’m releasing it at such a time as this and you’re reading it.

The dream played like a movie and a former co-worker of mine who is secular (not Christian)—but a nice guy—entered the scene. For context, when the eclipse happened back in 2017, he was only interested in the science of it and when I spoke about God’s symbolism and what it represented; he brushed it off.

In my dream, he was married to my former neighbor—great girl, conservative and very patriotic, whom I believed to be a Christian—but not practicing. She spent most of her time on patriot channels for news and clues, not viewing events from a biblical perspective or consideration.

They had a set of twins around age two, with bright red hair—a boy and a girl. A major event occurred, and although I didn’t know what happened, the father took the boy and dropped him off with a babysitter while he responded to the event.

The mother morphed into a different neighbor—someone I know to be patriotic but also a firm believer in Christ—who thought it better to stay home with her little girl, considering what happened.

I believe the Holy Spirit revealed this: When God pours out His Spirit in the coming days as this event(s) unfolds, fifty percent of the population will recognize God’s involvement—and believe it’s the only explanation considering what happened. The Christian neighbor who stayed home with her daughter represents this. She knew her only response was to ground herself in the presence of the Holy Spirit and put her trust in God to get through it. This was the feeling portrayed by her decision in the dream. This group turns to God as their source of hope and will be awakened even more to God’s purposes in this hour.

The other fifty percent, or the unbelievers—will feel the need to handle things on their own because they aren’t aware God is at work. The people of God will need to draw this group back with the Gospel truth—and reach their children, too. My former coworker represented those who did not believe in God and felt the need to take care of the event himself, leaving his child under the secular care of this world.

Since the toddler boy under the watchful eye of the world represents children raised by secular parents, they likely maintain the same beliefs held by them—secular agendas or worldly views without Godly values and principles (John 17:16).

If people aren’t choosing God at the center of their lives, it leaves an opening for the enemy to step in and take control (Ephesians 2:2 NLV). When I reference the enemy, I’m referring to the devil and his demons, and they take every opportunity afforded them. They don’t fight fair, and our adversary's agenda creeps into anything that is not of God, which is most of the world's influence today. These are considered “works of the flesh” because it comes from our carnal nature and not the spirit (Romans 8:5-6, Galatians 5:19-21 ESV).

If you aren’t sure what ideals are secular, ask God for wisdom and discernment as you take your questions to Him, read the scriptures, and allow the Holy Spirit to lead you into all truth (John 16:13 ESV).

Back to the dream interpretation—to confirm, the baby boy represented the “lost” generation. These people were not raised in the church and may not even know their NEED for Jesus. Their parents may have heard about Christianity, but never took it seriously for themselves or raised their children with those values. They will need more information and guidance to understand the Gospel truth. This made sense based on the beliefs and the personality of my former coworker in the dream.

Even though the mother of the twins held only conservative and patriotic values and didn’t look to God in the beginning, when the event happened, she quickly transitioned to a believer—represented by the change into a different neighbor. She knew what occurred could only be from God. She immediately looked to Christ as her place of security and kept her baby with her (2 Sameul 22:3-4). The revelation in the dream to keep her child at home meant the baby would be raised with Jesus at the foundation—because the mother would instill those values (Proverbs 22:6 GNT).

After this event(s) everyone split fifty-fifty into one category. No further information was disclosed about these future event(s), leaving it open to any interpretation. Perhaps something significant could affect the world, a nation, or a city. Or people may experience their own cataclysmic event that leads them to Jesus or not. I can only speculate on this. God uses any situation to bring about His plans and purposes (Romans 8:28).

The biblical meaning of twins is “a dualistic worldview” which is a perfect representation of this dream. The age of the twins—two, means divide, and underscores the symbolism revealed. The twins’ red hair represents uniqueness—red meaning passion and zeal. I believe this ‘new’ generation coming to the Lord (and/or reigniting their faith) will engage in a deep and meaningful relationship with God through Christ. They will humble and surrender themselves and know what is from Him and what is not and will fully know His presence and activity in their lives (Zephaniah 3:12) after this encounter. I’m sensing this will be a time of belief and faith like that in the book of Acts.

While I prayerfully considered this with the Lord, I also used the book, Understanding the Dreams You Dream, by Ira Milligan for additional insight. This is an excellent resource if you’re curious about finding out what your dreams mean.

Months before this dream, I received a word from God and His Holy Spirit recalled it when I sought the interpretation of the dream, and I knew the word pertained to it.

This is what I believe I heard:

“The floodgates will burst—like a breaking dam, it will flow. People—EVERYONE—will be caught up in it (Nahum 1:8). Some will rise to the surface, taking breath and strength to wade through it from Me. Some will be swept away in the current, dragged deep, swirling, and kicking for their life. It will be hard to see. But you, along with others, are called for such a time as this—to speak My truth in love. And many will be open to hear it. They will be desperate for My hope and comfort (Psalm 119:50). The words of My truth and righteousness will be like calm music; they will crave it. They will find rest (Matthew 11:28) in My shelter from the tumultuous times (Psalm 91:1-4).

“The ones swirling desperately trying to get air will first seek other sources, but will fall deeper, become more anxious and afraid. But My Spirit will advise them (John 14:26, Hebrews 10:15-17, 1 Cor. 2:9-11). They will know these sources are not their future—not their life source—and many of these people, out of desperation and finally reaching the end of their own attempts to make sense of the times, will seek Me (John 15:5).”

I asked the Lord to lead me to scripture to confirm the dream and what I believed I heard, and Revelation 3:5 came to mind:

“All who will be victorious will be clothed in white. I will never erase their names from the Book of Life, but will announce before my Father and his angels that they are mine.” (NLT) 

Who was victorious? I read the proceeding verses, and it’s clear. This was a letter to the church in Sardis, which said: “I know all the things you do, and that you have a reputation for being alive—but you are dead. Wake up! Strengthen what little remains, for even what is left is almost dead. I find that your actions do not meet the requirements of my God. Go back to what you heard and believed at first; hold to it firmly. Repent and turn to me again. If you don’t wake up, I will come to you suddenly, as an unexpected thief. Yet there are some in the church of Sardis who have not soiled their clothes with evil. They will walk with me in white, for they are worthy.” (Bolded by me.)

Don’t miss the fact that this is addressed to the church. As it relates to the dream, I believe this pertains to the half that will know what’s happening is from God. There is an obvious message that some of their current beliefs and practices aren’t sufficient—which was represented by the first neighbor. She said she was a Christian, but wasn’t practicing her faith, and drew her hope from the things of this world (politics, government etc.). 

But as she morphed into the other neighbor—the one who truly believed in God—it was clear she knew trusting wholly and completely in Christ was the only path forward. And staying “home” was the only way to do it. We are to make our hearts “home” to God’s Spirit.

Many do not believe God’s Spirit is alive and active today and speaking to people. But if He is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8) and still has purposes to accomplish, we should expect to hear from God and receive guidance to be His hands and feet to fulfill those purposes. Even Jesus confirmed this would happen in John 16:13-15. To paraphrase, it says His Spirit will guide you to all truth and tell you about the future.

How can that happen if God doesn’t speak to us? The Holy Spirit wasn’t just for the disciples, it’s for everyone who accepts Him (1 Thessalonians 5:19-22 GNT). If you’re a Christian, His Spirit should indwell you. But if you aren’t receiving direction from Him, there’s a good chance you haven’t allowed His Holy Spirit to do so. To wrap this up and tie the verse from Revelation into this, the half that doesn’t believe God is allowing future events to unfold and doesn’t turn to Him—it’s a warning. God always gives people a chance to correct their ways before judgement comes (and that may not happen until the end of your earthly life). The books of the prophets in the bible reveal this as it pertained to the living, as well as the book of Revelation which pertains to the future.

By releasing this message, the hope is to resonate with everyone—unbelievers and believers alike—so they turn their hearts toward Christ, before a time when a rude awakening ‘event’ does it for them.

For people who call themselves Christians but aren’t practicing, this is not so much a warning but a reevaluation to take an inward look at the position of their heart toward Christ and understand if they’re fully surrendered to His Spirit. If so, it should be clear where He’s directing you—on the path of your purpose and destiny. This is proof Christ is living in you and through you.

ORIGIN STORY

WHY I REVEAL DREAMS AND INTERPRETATIONS

There’s something different in store for you today. I’m sharing the reason I started Live Your Faith, and why I think it will help you.

It stemmed from a recurring nightmare I had when I was about four years old. It replayed every night for years, but as a child, it could’ve been weeks or months. It horrified me. Most kids don’t want to go to bed because they think they’re missing out on something, but I didn’t want to go to bed because of the nightmare “ritual” I experienced with these dreams. Back then, I called it the “gateway into dreams.” As I tell this, I’m recalling it from a 4-year-old’s perspective, so keep that in mind.

Each night, after I said prayers with my mom, I would lie in bed and wait. It was always the same. We had a curved staircase and from where I slept, I could see the top of them from my bedroom doorway. A creature—dark, hairy, and slimy—would appear and crawl into my room. It would lay its hand on the bed and wait for me to take it because it would not leave until I did. I learned to go right away because the faster I got through the ritual, the faster I moved to acceptable dreams.

It held me tight by the hand and we floated out of my room down the dark, curved stairway. We had a large house with a foyer that led to a formal sitting room and dining area that wrapped to the right of the stairs as we circled down, then rounded into the kitchen and family room. The curved staircase was in the center.

It was pitch black. I shut my eyes tight as better than glimpsing the creatures that hissed and whispered on each side of me as I went by. It continued growing louder and more violent—as if they wanted to pounce on me, but we kept moving around the circular pattern of the first floor. Just before reaching the edge of the foyer back to the staircase, we stopped at a hall that led to a bathroom and laundry room.

A door that didn’t exist in my actual home appeared on the wall opposite the bathroom. The door would open into a cavernous gaping abyss even darker than the surrounding blackness, and a suctioning wind tried dragging me into it, although the pull was never strong enough. The creature or some other force beside me would push down on my head, and I had no choice but to fall under the crushing pressure and kneel. Once I bowed in front of the black doorway—which was always against my will—I was free to go.

Only recently did I receive an understanding of this. After 8 years of seeking God diligently—I’ll explain why in a moment—He revealed the dreams given to me fulfills a special purpose (1 Cor. 12:1-11), and although the enemy could see the anointing on me, the devil didn’t know exactly what it was. But Satan tried his best to lie, steal, kill, and destroy that destiny for my life (John 10:10).

As I grew older, I learned how unassuming Satan’s tactics were—if everything looked like a deep, dark abyss, it wouldn’t be tempting, would it? No, he and his minions masquerade like heroes (2 Cor. 11:14), appealing to the deepest desires of our hearts, only to twist it and destroy us in the end.

Even though raised in the church, I wasn’t a practicing Christian. I believed in a spiritual realm because strange things happened, and I knew the forces of good and evil warred around me. But before I started this—sharing dreams, interpretations and revelation from God—I experienced a 15-year gap where I made choices and decisions I’m not proud of. I was selfish, demanding, a control freak, and stressed out about everything because I pushed myself to the brink to achieve everything and anything I wanted. And when I got it, the race kept going because I still felt empty and unsatisfied after obtaining those things. Even though I called myself Christian, I wasn’t (James 3:14-16 NLV). I had a gaping hole that nothing—no amount of work, entertainment, or booze—could fill or make me forget.

Then I hit rock bottom. A cancer scare hit me like a two-by-four in the face saying, ‘wake up Shannon! Stop living for yourself! Stop your selfish corporate ladder climb at the expense of your family and health!’

I worked long and hard hours and drank and played even longer and harder to escape the guilt of not spending time with my family and ignoring deteriorating relationships. But that health-scare forced me to face the possibility of losing everything—especially leaving a one and three-year-old behind with a widowed father. I reached the end of myself when I learned I couldn’t control what happened to me, or how much time I had on the earth. I could only control how I reacted to it and the choices I made. I wondered how my little ones and husband would remember me if I left this world—and my perception led me to believe it was NOT favorable.

I realized I didn’t want to let the world dictate what my priorities were (1 John 2:15-17). Work would no longer rule over everything. I stopped focusing on my selfish ambition and big corporate paycheck because it wasn’t bringing me happiness. The only thing I desired to focus on was cultivating and nourishing my relationships. I knew the only way to do that, and have a life of peace, hope, and joy, was by giving everything over to God (Philippians 4:7 ESV). In that moment, I surrendered everything I had to Christ. And since 2016, I’ve sought Jesus with my whole heart.

The emptiness I felt—Only One can fill it. It’s a God-sized hole, and no matter what else I tried to fill it with—it never fit, never felt right. Until I put what belonged there—Christ (John 14:16). He’s the Only One who can fill that void, lift you out of the pit, and heal all the abuse I put on myself and others (Psalm 147:3), and give hope for the future (Jeremiah 29:11).

Pursuing a relationship with God was the only thing that seemed worthwhile. It took years to wise up and realize that—and it’s the reason I’m here. I want to share with you the benefits that are available to you when you give your life to Christ. Once I made the intentional choice to know God and invited His Spirit to live and work through me—only then did it allow me to hear His truth and receive direction, and I want the same for you.

Through dreams and interpretations, I want to provide you with His treasure trove of wisdom and revelation (Proverbs 25:2) to help you accelerate your faith journey. No matter where you are or what you’re doing, you can establish a deep and meaningful relationship with God—which He desires. It’s my intent that these messages inspire, encourage, and motivate you to grow in faith and reach the purpose and destiny designed for you.

How did this happen? About five years into my journey, and trying to finish a novel, the Lord pressed me to attend the Tipping Point Conference that Jimmy Evans hosts. I went in obedience to the prompting of God and because the conference subject related to my manuscript.

All the speakers were amazing, and of course I wanted to snap a selfie with all of them, but when meeting Jonathan Cahn—author of The Harbinger, The Josiah Manifesto, and other titles—something remarkable happened. I got clear direction that God wanted me to shake his hand instead of taking a picture. Given the security around him and the swarm of people, it was impossible. However, I stepped out in faith when seeing a break in the crowd, and he obliged my request.

A few days after the handshake, I believe I heard this from the Lord:

“Time and space allowed both My children to connect—this was purposeful. Jonathan released anointing to many, including you. The handshake transferred it, and you sealed the acceptance of the arrangement. I orchestrated that. You know I work through people and through touch (1 Timothy 4:14)—your mantle is upon you. I have ordained it, and you have accepted it.”

If you know who Jonathan Cahn is, read his books or listen to his messages, you know God uses him in powerful ways to deliver prophetic words. Ever since the handshake—dreams, interpretations, and revelations have flooded my mind (Joel 2:28-29, NIV). I write them down, ponder their meaning, and receive significant insight into God’s word and character through them (Isaiah 50:4, NLT). I believed the Lord told me He wanted me to share this gift with all His precious children so they knew they could approach Him and have a similar relationship with Him (Habakkuk 2:2-3 NLV).

For months I agonized over this—I needed to ensure I heard from God, and this was His assignment for me. So, I asked the Lord for confirmation. Holy Spirit led me to Esther 4:14 (NLV) “For if you keep quiet at this time, help will come to the Jews from another place. But you and your father’s house will be destroyed. Who knows if you have not become queen for such a time as this?”

Someone explained once that not every word in the bible means something for people today because the stories and situations don’t represent our current circumstances. So, I pressed into the Lord to tell me why He led me to this scripture.

I believe God revealed the Jews represented ALL people He wants saved. But I questioned the portion about Esther being queen—why would people listen if I did not carry the same power and authority? He answered with this verse:

ACTS 4:13 (NLT) “The members of the council were amazed when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, for they could see that they were ordinary men with no special training in the Scriptures. They also recognized them as men who had been with Jesus.”

I felt unworthy of delivering these messages because I wasn’t trained in the seminary or mentored by a prophet. But the Holy Spirit confirmed to me that the hours I spend daily in God’s presence qualified me to deliver what He gives me.

Some think God doesn’t speak to His people today, and I pondered once again if I should broadcast what I believed to hear. The next scripture I received was this:

ROMANS 12:6 (NKJV) “Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; …”

In the Jeremiah Study Bible, the footnotes for this verse explain prophesying refers to the gift to speak God’s truth. And if everything I receive points to Jesus Christ—and it has—then I’ll share it.

I believe God highlighted these scriptures not only to illustrate His assignment for me, but to confirm God still speaks to His people today. These confirming verses are no coincidence.

And after years of repressing the recurring nightmare, God’s Spirit recalled it and unveiled its true nature as a gift—that He communicates through dreams—offering guidance and insight, and this dream served as a warning.

The devil could see something special planned for my life and spent years tempting me, trying to pull me into his darkness. I believe God showed me what the devil wanted for my future, but God’s mighty hand of protection never let me fall into that abyss. This is a reminder that God not only has a plan for your life—so does the devil—and they’re both trying to catch your attention.

When I became a born-again Christian, I was hungry for truth, knowledge, and wisdom. Remembering how much I desired this, I created these messages to bring new believers and those reigniting their faith what God has taught me—through the gift of dreams, visions, and His word—to increase your faith (Romans 10:17, NKJV). He’s eager for you to get to know Him in this hour (John 17:3 ESV).

MY LIFE IS FINE -

WHY DO I NEED GOD?

Over the past few weeks, I’ve addressed dream situations where you may be stuck and unable to realize your dreams, or you may have significant choices on the horizon that could change the trajectory of your life, or you’re looking for help to navigate tough circumstances for the best path forward. But what if that’s not you? What if you’re completely satisfied and comfortable with the choices you’ve made so far? What if you’re making progress on achieving your dream, and you don’t want to change anything? That’s what this dream is about.

It transported me into a different future where my life was perfectly fine—good job, good income, good family—but I learned an astonishing lesson about it.

In the dream, I was in a mini-van or an SUV, the age I am now, looking at my daughter in the backseat—because my husband was driving. In the natural I don’t have a daughter—and the man in the driver’s seat was not the person I married. But in this dream, nothing was out of place—my reality seemed normal.

My daughter was 22 years old, and I remember thinking she finished college, but still worked a menial job at a florist. I wanted her to do something with her education and get a better job, so her status frustrated me. As I pondered this, I thought about going back to work myself. I was a professor at a nearby university, but on sabbatical. To drive the point home with her, I announced my return to work. My husband promised to ‘check the car’ to ensure it was suitable for the commute.

When I woke up, in my spirit, I knew this would be my future had I not attended Michigan State University. And I would’ve been fine. The man I married was from the church I attended in my formative years. We had a child together; I had an excellent career, and everything seemed okay.

I also knew I would NOT be the believer that I am in Christ today. I had an innate sense that if I chose not to attend MSU, my priorities would NOT be the same as they are now. The school didn’t make my beliefs that way—because it’s secular. The point is, such a simple choice—the college I attended—determined what happened with my faith!

Since I was so preoccupied with my daughter’s schooling and career choice—knowing she had completed her education but hadn’t applied for a job that fit her potential—it became clear where my priorities stood. Especially because I worked at a university and the fact that I hoped my announcement to return from sabbatical would spur her to make a change. I believe—if I had gone down that path in my life—I would’ve worshipped the education system. That’s how I felt in the dream—everything hinged on schooling to advance our lives. My concern seemed only to rely on education as the path to a well-paying job, success, affluence, and security. No where in that scenario did I rely on Christ or even think about Him.

My life appeared fine. I even felt content—happy marriage, raised a daughter, obtained a stellar career—but I felt something else; ordinary. After I woke, I knew I would’ve missed out on God’s best for me. All because of that one simple choice—the college I attended.

I believe God was telling me we have several choices; each having different outcomes that can be ‘okay’. It’s not just college—it can be a job, a marriage proposal, or many things that can alter your future. You might exist in one of these realities now, where everything appears fine, so why change it? Do you even need God to better it?

It reminds me of the movie The Family Man with Nicholas Cage—he doesn’t even know what he’s missing until he’s shown a ‘glimpse’ of a different future. I consider the plot brilliant and thought provoking. It’s not that the alternate future for the lead character held more glamour or wealth, because it didn’t. In fact, God plucked him from that lifestyle into an average one, with a wife and kids and a less prestigious job. The difference was people who loved and supported him surrounded him, and once the glimpse was over, he realized the importance of his family and friends. He woke up alone in his sprawling home with all the money in the world and no one to share it with.

What’s the takeaway for you with the ‘glimpse’ of this dream?

I believe it’s this: you have a heavenly Father that loves you and will support you if you choose to allow Him into your life. And if you don’t know Him—you’re missing out on the greatest adventure, the best blessings, and the most abundant life He planned for you. Sadly, countless people remain unaware of His absence in their lives. Many people go through the motions, living ordinary lives and they’ll continue to do it because they’re 'fine'. But I’ve seen the ‘glimpse’ and I don’t want the ordinary—I want the extraordinary! 

God is trying to catch your attention. While you may not be facing challenges or tough decisions and think everything is ‘fine’—I hope the interpretation of this dream might make you reconsider. 

This is where the alarming part occurred—when I dug into the symbolism.

Daughter: (or a child) means a reflection of yourself. Since it wasn’t one of my natural children in the dream, it highlighted my ‘alternate’ reality. That it bothered me so much that she wasn’t using her education to pursue a better job, and how I used my announcement to return from sabbatical to show how important the pursuit was—reflected that I, myself, relied on the education system over and above anything else.

Florist: Represents growth. I wanted my daughter (or me) to do something different and focus on education to define the path.  

Van or SUV: Family (natural or church). Since it wasn’t my natural family, I’m led to believe it represented the church. Vehicles symbolize the ministry you’re in—which further confirms I worshipped the worldly way of raising my daughter with education at the core, and not through Godly standards.

Husband: Represents authority. Since he sat in the driver’s seat, it led me to believe I put my faith in the natural—the ways of the world (not God), to ensure a secure future. Because he was going to ‘check the car’ to see if it would have optimal performance once I returned to work, confirmed he also shared the belief that the education system was the only secure path of the future.

22 (age of daughter): 20 which can either mean: holy (tried and accepted) or unholy (tried and found wanting) and since I wanted our daughter to get a job that reflected her education, it’s the latter—unholy, as this is a life not led by God.Two means separated.

Since dreaming of a child reflects yourself, her age of 22 literally represented that if I chose that life, it was unholy and separated from God. This revelation was astonishing to me, especially because everything felt ‘fine’ in the dream!

The name of my husband was significant as well—and since this is a real person, I’m only going to share what his name means to protect his identity.

First name: means ‘ruler or king of the world’. This is another confirmation I let worldly ways rule over me, and 'husband' represents authority.

Last name: ‘Ungrafted tree or useless’. This confirms a life without God is useless. My 'fine' life would be worthless—to me, the world, and to God. Taking that path would make my life useless!

The revelation of this dream is SIGNIFICANT, even though everything appeared ‘fine’. I felt happy and content—we seemed good. But a life apart from God is NOT good. Even if it doesn’t feel like anything is missing from yours, I hope this dream spurs some consideration and reevaluation on your part, because living separated from God has eternal ramifications. We may not feel it in this life, but we will in the next.

This is your glimpse—your wake-up call. Your Heavenly Father is calling you to accept His love and support—which comes through His Son, Jesus Christ. IS YOUR DREAM FROM GOD?

Everyone has a dream they want to achieve—go to a certain school, get a certain career—but what if the admissions office doesn’t let you in or you don’t get the interview? Or what if you get what you want, but it isn’t quite right? Then what? Your plan derailed, or it’s not cracked up to be what you thought it would, and now you need to adjust.

Today I’m going to share a simple—but profound—word I received from God about a dream I wanted to achieve since I was 15, and His response was unexpected.

This is the last message in the “Hearing God” series and addresses matters you may have ignored because you may not want to hear the answer, but it will help tremendously to open yourself up to what God is saying about it.

I’ve always wanted to write books. And in 2018, I came up with a children’s book series and my dream became a reality when Parker Panda Makes His Lunch made it into print. But I didn’t want to stick to children’s books, so I set my sights on completing a novel. I picked the one that burned in my heart out of several ideas I outlined a decade earlier and jumped in with both feet. To hone my writing craft, I immersed myself in classes and purchased several books—and I won’t lie—anyone that tells you writing a book is easy is lying. It took many nights, weekends, and countless hours of writing and rewriting, and developed four variations of the manuscript before it carved into the masterpiece I wanted. And folks? That took every bit of five years. I gained a lot of knowledge and insight, and I hope I surpassed my learning curve, so my next writing project won’t be as difficult when I plunge into it.

Is it published? Nope. And it’s my fault. I bulldozed forward with my ambition to accomplish things my way, with my resources—and guess what? It didn’t work. I didn’t ask God to be a part of it or ask Him for direction. But I asked Him to bless what I was doing several times because I was going to give Him all the glory—so why wasn’t it working? I was upset and frustrated. God wasn’t blessing the path I was blazing. But He knew better—He saw my heart and even though I rationalized and told myself it was for Him; He knew the true posture of my heart, which I didn't even realize I harbored. Reflecting on it now, I realize why He chose not to bless the project—it would have been driven by the wrong motives.

It took two years to comprehend that my personal ambitions weren’t aligned with God’s plan, and I’m sharing the story with you, so you don’t have to wait that long to figure out what your next steps are to accomplish your dreams. Once I asked God what His plan was for me, I understood I needed to do it His way, and jumped on board right away because I knew it was the only path to get where I wanted to go and where God wanted to take me.

You can do the same! Whether you’ve partially received your dream or haven’t yet achieved it—pause and go to the source (Luke 12:31). Ask God what He thinks about it. Ask Him for direction and guidance (Proverbs 16:9). Who better to ask than the One who knows everything, understands the ways of the world, how people operate, how certain things function, and what He needs to do through you to achieve His plans (Ephesians 3:20)? He will equip you (Philippians 4:19). It’s much better than toiling on your own without God’s help and resources (1 Corinthians 3:7).

God plants dreams in our heart and He hopes we come to Him and ask how to achieve it (Psalm 37:4). Just keep in mind not every dream is from God. Even if it looks and feels like it, go to God and get His perspective on it. And if it doesn’t line up with the word of God, don’t do it. It could be Satan trying to bring something destructive into your life.

How are we going to know what to do unless we ask Him? I only did it after I read a story about king David in 2 Samuel chapter 7. I viewed the story as a ‘death’ to one of David’s dreams, and I’ll paraphrase it.

David wanted to build a temple to honor God and sought the advice of Nathan, his prophet, and he told him to ‘do as your heart desires’. It’s for the Lord, so He’ll bless it, right? But that wasn’t the case. Both David and Nathan didn’t inquire if it was the will of God for David to build it. Then Nathan had a dream and God confirmed it was NOT the path for David—it would be given to his descendent.

I felt crushed for David. He wanted to exalt God, but God said 'no'. I couldn’t help but think of my situation. I pondered why God would say no to an idea planted in David’s heart. I wondered if God was saying ‘no’ to mine. But God highlighted this story for me, so I knew He was trying to give insight about my situation, so I read further.

At that point, Nathan shared a word from God to David. He promised his kingdom would be established forever and His mercy would never depart from his descendants, but he was not the one who should pursue building the temple.

Was David disappointed? Not at all! He praised God for making him king and ordering his steps and protecting his life and giving all the blessings to him up to that point. It thrilled David that God ordained extending these same blessings to his descendants and pondered why God would give him so much favor. Even though God said ‘no’ to building the temple, he gave revelation to David about the future. David was in awe of how God honored him and promised to show the same favor to his descendants. David’s view on this changed my entire perspective.

So, I asked God what He wanted me to do about my current struggle. Should I abandon it? And if not, how do I approach it differently? I tried everything to make it successful, and nothing worked. I was at my wits’ end and didn’t know which direction to take.

This is what I believe the Lord said. I believe He wants you to know, too.

“Keep going. But you don’t have to do anything. Just submit to Me and let Me work through you. Submitting to Me every day is something that is required to truly follow Me and follow where My Spirit leads (Luke 9:23). It is something that must be done DAILY. It is the only thing I ask of My people.

Everything else is done! (John 19:30) Just allow My Spirit to flow through you… if you’re submitted to Me (James 4:7), obedience will follow. How can one do what I say if they don’t want to listen and do it? People must be open to My will and My ways through submission. I require both submission and obedience, and if you’re submitted to Me, obedience happens (John 14:15). Submission equals obedience. You’ve figured out the formula 😊 reveal this to people. For this formula cracks the code for My Power to be released in people’s lives (Isaiah 1:19). They crave it, and I will give them the answer to the question about achieving their heart’s desires (Psalm 37:4). The desires I plant!”

At that moment, a weight lifted off my shoulders, and I felt at peace. I felt relieved knowing God would handle everything, and I didn’t need to toil and struggle to achieve anything—just allow His Spirit to flow through me and guide me where He wanted me to go (Matthew 11:28-30).

This is easier said than done. For so many years, I lived for myself and completed my agenda, so I had to train myself—every day—to let go of my ambition and let God take over. I said a simple prayer like: “God, I surrender my life to You. Allow Your Holy Spirit to work in me and through me this day and every day.” Then I would ask for wisdom and discernment and for Him to highlight and identify opportunities He wanted to advance. Saying the prayer is simple. Honing your spiritual ears for direction and obeying Him is much harder (Luke 8:21), but it can be done.

When I finally learned this (Psalm 103:1-5), I rested in the fact that ‘God’s got it,’ and things sped up. You can’t knock it until you try it. I’m still working on my novel, but I’m following a different path—the one God showed me.

This revelation helped me so much I want to recap for you:

1.) If you’re about to embark on something significant or it’s time to make a big decision (like choosing a college, changing careers, or getting married), seek God's guidance on the matter. Don’t just do it and ask Him to bless it—He doesn’t have to bless anything that’s not part of His plan for you. And don’t wait two years to ask!

2.) When God answers, accept it and realize it’s for our good. Understand that the direction from Him is the best plan for you. We can’t bust open doors that God shuts. We would toil in frustration—and it would be a waste of time, effort, and resources. But if He opens another door, it’s still your choice to walk through it. This is where submission and obedience come in.

I’ll close with another word I believe I received from God:

“‘But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.’ (Matthew 6:33) Many think this means to seek Me first thing in the morning, and while this discipline pleases Me, it means much more. It means to seek My will all throughout the day—in every decision—every choice. This is a truly submitted spirit and the more it’s practiced intentionally, the more My Spirit flows out of people. It becomes second nature, because they get used to seeing how My Spirit leads. So too, they begin to do. This is the ultimate surrender, and this is what Paul meant by bringing everything to Me in prayer and petition. (Philippians 4:6)”

When God uses scripture to make a point, I know it’s from Him. I hope these words of wisdom help you with whatever you’re dealing with and provide guidance on any choices or pivotal decisions you need to make.

WHAT DO YOUR DREAMS MEAN?

IS GOD TALKING TO YOU?

Have you ever wondered if your dreams have meaning? I’ve dreamed my whole life, but it wasn’t until recently I sought the Lord to reveal their interpretation. Dreams can have a significant impact on your life and what they tell you can provide direction—if you’re paying attention. So, if you aren’t seeking to understand what they mean, it’s time to start. God speaks to His people through dreams, and what He’s sharing is not inconsequential. You might think your dreams are meaningless or make little sense, but if you seek the Lord, He might surprise you.

Today I’m sharing a dream about a close friend and what happened after I came to Christ but lived the same way as before. The interpretation is shocking but provides insight on how to live as a Christian in this world, and by sharing it with you, I hope the meaning of it provides guidance on how to handle your newfound belief (or renewed faith) as God meets you right where you are, in the life you’ve built, with the friendships you’ve established.

This is also an illustration to show you that dreams have meaning. Seek God’s wisdom for the interpretation and move forward with the direction His Holy Spirit provides.

In the dream, my friend and I were lounging in shallow water on a sand bar—a long way from shore—about a mile. We had some type of box with us—heavy enough to sit in the water even though only two feet long, one foot in width and eight inches in height. It weighed a ton. We lay on our stomachs facing it. I’m not sure if it contained drinks, but it seemed like we were having cocktails, considering I felt woozy with the alcohol. As we tanned, I kept checking to make sure the box was still there. We continued wasting the day lounging in the sun and boozing it up. Prior to sunset, I realized our timing was crucial to return to shore safely—we either choose to head back or stay and play. I stayed, and we missed our window. After sunset it became pitch black, and the water got rough. We couldn’t see the shore, and we needed to bring the box with us—we contemplated walking or swimming with it, but either way, we knew it would be detrimental to our safety. The safest thing to do was stay on the shallow sand bar and sleep off our buzz until morning.

I tried to stay awake and make sure both my friend and the box were still there. But I didn’t have enough strength or energy, and I fell asleep. When I woke in the pitch black of night, my friend wasn’t there. She was gone, and so was the box. I worried she tried to go back with it on her own. Perhaps she was swept away, or something took her. I didn’t know if she left willingly or unwillingly, but where was the box? With that question, the dream ended.

I asked the Lord to reveal the dream to me during my prayer time and this is what I believe I heard:

"The two of you have fun, but Shannon, this is a cautionary tale—when you first got there, you checked the status of the box—not her. This is your faith, kept safe in a box, reserving it only for yourself. Your friend had nothing. And Shannon, you were the only one aware of the moment that would cause the trouble. When you should’ve pulled back from your own whim of fun, and go back, you didn’t. You didn’t use your faith and choose the right path. That moment meant life or death—and you chose wrong. You continued to party and did not see the consequence. She was swept away because you gave in to your own selfish desire and kept your faith locked away. And because you did that, I took the faith you had. (Matthew 25:29) Let this be a warning. When you are with her, remind her of your faith—she will need it. Make wise, Godly decisions, and do not allow yourself to go down a path that instigates disobedience (Galatians 5:21, Luke 21:34) especially with her—because she will need your guidance to see My light through you (Matthew 5:16) and be reminded of it, to stay the course for her salvation.”

I asked the Lord if she was a saved Christian. I believe He said,

“Yes, but she represents many Christians today… believing, but not truly living in faith the way they should. It’s a slippery slope, this lack of faith and trust—it can easily make someone go off into the wrong side of eternity. (Matthew 7:13-14) People either rely on Me, or they don’t. (Proverbs 3:5-6) There is no ‘in between’.” (Revelation 3:16)

For all new believers, this is a significant reminder to stay on fire for God, and for believers reigniting your faith, don’t become so complacent in your walk that you don’t view God with reverence and awe and take for granted the sacrifice Christ provided to grant you freedom and forgiveness.

You are either on fire for the Lord with your faith, or you’re not. God desires your full attention (Matthew 22:37), and if we aren’t willing to give him our focus from a posture of pure love and devotion—He’d rather we not fake it (Isaiah 1:13, 16). We aren’t supposed to spend an hour with Him at church and ignore Him the rest of the rest of the week. He deserves our best and we shouldn’t treat Him like He’s less than anything other than the Creator of the Universe, the all-powerful God who existed before the foundation of the world (Ephesians 1:4) before time began (Titus 1:2). Without Him, nothing and no one would exist. We should have a majestic view of Him and submit ourselves back to Him to accomplish His purposes (Romans 6:13). Without Christ, nothing and no one would be here (John 1:1-3); nor would we have freedom and reconciliation with God (Colossians 1:15-16, 21-22). We owe Him our lives (Romans 12:1). And why shouldn’t we submit to Him if He has only good in store for us (2 Timothy 1:9-10)? Why do we waver? Why do we fear trusting Him?

It’s time to make a choice. We either trust Him, or we don’t. We either enter His ‘good’ plan for us, or we don’t. (Jeremiah 29:11) Let us use what little faith we have and lean not on our own understanding, but trust Him with our whole heart, so He will make our paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).

I believe God is preparing us for something new—He wants us to know we can’t be on the fence—we either trust Him, or we don’t.

This was a tough message to receive and deliver—for so long I lived hiding my faith and not sharing it. But God has worked in my heart, and it’s telling me if I’m not all in with Him, I’m going to miss something BIG. And He has it in my heart to share it with you, because He desires everyone to receive the good He has in store for them. But we must stop wavering. We must seek Him with our whole heart, not out of obligation, but out of love for what He has done for us. (1 John 4:19) Our surrender to Him shows our love, and it allows Him to lead us to the good purpose and destiny He has for us.

He wants to see you step into the future designed just for you. If you don’t know where to start—try prayer—ask Him. And be ready for Him to communicate. When I hear Him, it’s downloaded into my spirit, and I write it down. At first, I thought the ideas were my own, so I asked Him for confirmation. Each time, He provided at least 2-3 references—a bible verse, a teaching, or from a book with the same topic. All of it would confirm His message. Then I knew it wasn’t a coincidence and my mind wasn’t producing it. I’ve learned to discern what’s from Him, and I always make sure it lines up with scripture. I believe this dream is a nudge for all of us. We shouldn’t hide our faith. In that dream I knew we should’ve left, but I didn’t use my faith to do the right thing, and that makes it a sin—James 4:17 explains if we know what’s right and we don’t choose to do it, we knowingly sin. Because I left my faith tucked away in the box, my friend was lost. Others should see our faith and how God is working in our lives, so they’re drawn to it. When they see how God works in us and through us, it opens them to the same hope and possibilities for their lives.

In the dream, I missed the opportunity to share it with her, and that meant death. Because of what—I was afraid to show my faith? Because I indulged my selfish desire to party and get drunk? Not anymore. Not after knowing what happens when people perish without knowing Jesus. Just remember who's side your on—if God is for you, who can be against you? (Romans 8:31) We have the victory in Christ over everything in this world, yet so many don’t act like it. Some act embarrassed to share their faith or let fear rule over them. 1 John 5:4 says, “For whoever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.” We need to squash fear with faith! We need to step out in faith to overcome the dark things in this world! 

When we trust God to take care of things, the supernatural happens; that’s when miracles happen. When Daniel’s three friends wouldn’t bow down to Nebuchadnezzar because they didn’t want to worship a false idol, they did it in faith because they knew anyone who didn’t bow would be thrown into the furnace. But they didn’t give in to that fear. They had faith and trusted God. Look what happened—they were thrown into the fiery furnace. Their faith led them through the fire—it didn't deliver them from it! But because of their faith, God performed a miracle, and they walked out of it, and didn’t even smell like smoke. They choose faith over fear!

And while we’re not faced with situations like that, peer pressure and compromising our values happens daily. We need to fire up our faith and pick the right side. We must start listening to what God is saying and choose the abundant life He has prepared for us, and show others the way!

IS GOD IGNORING ME?

WHY CAN'T I HEAR HIM?

If this issue is plaguing you, today I’m sharing the same steps I incorporated into my worship time to better ‘hear’ what God wanted to share. But there’s a caveat—it took me 9 years to get to this point, so I want you to know it involves much more than the 10 steps I’m giving you. God’s not a genie, so these steps aren’t like rubbing a lamp to get your wishes granted. These steps are a start, and I’m sharing them because I have a sincere desire to equip you to hear from the Lord—to find your purpose and destiny. But you must have a willingness for His Spirit to work through you to make that happen, because I’d LOVE for you to have the same opportunity I do!

So, if YOU’VE given your life to Christ, this should feel like the next logical step. If you sincerely want to know the adventure God has in store for you, He is just waiting for you to reach out to Him so He can share it with you!

Here’s the point: the desire to know God must be in your heart. Wanting His presence, love, and discovering His character for yourself must be there. I longed for it! He showed me glimpses—revelation in his word while I was studying, or a message that resonated in my soul—but it wasn’t enough, so I pressed into Him even more.

Guess what? God wants to talk to you! And when you draw close to Him, He draws close to you. (James 4:8) But He will never force you. He gives you an invitation, like reading a blog like this—but it’s YOUR choice to approach Him in this manner. You choose how close you aspire to be with God.

Let’s talk about dreams—do you have them? Not ‘goals’, but dreams while you’re asleep. A lot of what I share on this channel will be dreams and their interpretations, but did you know this is one way God speaks to people? (Job 33:14-18) The bible has several examples where God warned people with dreams (Matt. 2:13, 2:19-20) or gave insight on a matter (Matt. 1:20; Daniel 7:1). God used dreams to communicate to both believers (Genesis 37:9) and the ungodly (Genesis 20:3, 41:25; Daniel 2:28) to spur some type of activity in response to it.  

I’ve received dreams my whole life, and while I knew what some meant, others were anyone’s guess. Do you know what yours means? Are you curious to learn? Pressing in to hear from God and studying the scriptures is a fundamental way to find out.

How do I know? Because I take my dreams to God, ask what they mean, and His Spirit reveals it in several different ways. He speaks through His people (from the pulpit), through the bible, and through Holy Spirit revelation. I write everything down and it’s astounding how it parallels what’s going on in my life. The direction I’m given is biblically sound as God speaks to me using scripture. I also search for the biblical meaning of certain symbols, colors, numbers, and other things I dream about, and pray into the meaning of them. When the answer popped into mind in a clear picture of what it represented, I knew the Holy Spirit was giving me confirmation of the interpretation. He wanted me to know, but He waited for me to ask, seek, and knock (Matthew 7:7-12). And upon learning the meaning, it resonates, and bears witness to my spirit.

However, not every dream is from God. Sometimes it’s the minutia of what’s going on in your life, food you eat, but if you feel an inner intuition that it means something more, it likely does. God gives dreams to communicate with you.

In a recent dream, I found myself on vacation, immersed in a joyous and vibrant setting. But my spirit compelled me to explore its underlying significance, prompting me to seek clarification from the Lord.          

I was in the kitchen of our vacation house juggling preparation for a meal. A pan of sauce on the counter spilled, and it made a mess all over the cabinet, floor, and counter. I felt frustrated and mentioned to my husband I had to spend the rest of the night cleaning and waste part of the night getting the house back in order. He shrugged and said don’t worry about it and immediately, a flood of peace and calm came over me. I knew I was dreaming, so I could enjoy the vacation. So, I said, I bet if I go back to the kitchen, the mess will be gone. I did, and it was spotless! Then I said, I bet there’s a cake in this cabinet. It wasn’t in the first one I opened, but I was determined to find it because I knew it was there, and it was in the second cabinet I opened. I set it on the counter for me and my kids to eat and noticed a few of my nieces were there, too. 

I said, “Watch this!” And I dug my hand into the cake and ate a chunk. I said, “You can do it too!” so they all used their hands and dug in the same way.

It was morning in the next part of the dream, and I went to open the drapes to the patio. When I opened them, it led into another dark section of the kitchen with another set of drapes. So, I opened the other set to reveal a lush and beautiful backyard. I noticed a sprawling deck attached to our house as we were at the top of a hill. Levels of stairs led down to an in-ground pool. I took my time enjoying the trees, flowers, and birds on the zig-zagging path down the deck, and even though I was in my PJ’s I wanted to swim!

This is what God’s Spirit revealed about it: I was desperately trying to work and clean up ‘my sin’. But the Lord pointed out I was forgiven and there is now no condemnation in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1) and He no longer saw my sin—it was removed as far as the east is from the west (Psalm 103:12), and I didn’t need to do anything to clean it—His Son already did that. That’s why the mess was gone when I realized I was dreaming and on vacation. God took care of it, and I could relax. He said the cake represented the gifts He has for us (James 1:7) and the manner we ate it said all who want to partake in it could enjoy with reckless abandon (Ecclesiastes 5:19).

The reason I had to open two cabinets, and two sets of drapes signified perseverance to seek the Lord. He has surprises to give us, and He rewards those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6 NKJV).

The rest of the dream had significant meaning for my personal life, and the effect it had on my daily walk with Him revealed Ephesians 3:20 AMPC for me!

So, if you’re feeling down, depressed, overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or in need of guidance or direction, and you don’t think God is listening, I encourage you to download these "10 Simple Steps to Hear God Better" (which you can find here on this website: LiveYourFaith.co). God will refresh and renew you, give you strength, peace, and joy as you rest and abide in Him. (Zephaniah 3:17 CEV, Titus 3:5 NASB, Isaiah 40:29-31 NIV, Psalm 29:11 NIV, Psalm 16:11 NIV, Matthew 11:29 NLT, John 15:7 NKJV).

If you approach God in reverence and worship and praise Him for who He is and submit yourself to His good purposes, interaction will change significantly. The floodgates of communication opened to me. I got dreams, visions, encounters, revelations, and encouragement—I even got glimpses of Heaven. I figured out a secret formula! And I want to share it with you so you can experience the same thing!

If you choose to make time to sit with Him in a posture of wanting to get to know Him better, that’s the first step. The second is learning to lean on Him and trust Him—trust that He will guide you (Proverbs 3:5-6). Now here’s the Key—once you hear Him—listen and obey. Submission and obedience will get you closer to Him than you ever imagined. Learn to love the gift-giver and not just the gifts. He’ll bless you with even more because you’ll understand His character and get to know Him better.   

It took many years for me to get to this place, but I believe God wants to release this because He’s eager for His people to come to Him. He wants to build a relationship with you. Everyone is as close to God as they aspire to be, so if you want to accelerate your faith journey and start hearing from Him, it’s your choice if you want to seek Him in this manner. He wants to bless all His people, and if you come with an open heart and submit to Him, that is the posture He responds to.

And if you are thinking ‘God doesn’t talk to people today–that only happened in biblical times’ think about this instead—if He is the same yesterday, today and forever and He talked to people back then, why wouldn’t He do it now? (Hebrews 13:8) If Jesus is the way the truth and the life, (John 14:6) don’t you think He can provide direction for your life if you ask Him today? 

So, if you’re in a place where you are stuck, looking for direction, acceptance, belonging, love, and you crave to know your purpose and destiny, He is the way. He is the path to abundant life (John 10:10b).

WHY DOES EVIL EXIST?

WHY DO PEOPLE GO TO HELL?

Supernatural stories fascinate me—from near-death experiences to visions of heaven or hell—they all grip my attention. But after watching a supernatural video and reading the book Divine Encounters by Donna Rigney, I am compelled to share a revelation I received from God regarding the gruesome reality of why people end up in hell, and why evil exists at all. 

Let me explain. In one supernatural story, a man died, and Jesus escorted him through hell before the man returned and explained what he saw. He came across an 18-year-old girl who had never heard the full story about Christ. She didn’t know how He came to rescue humanity from their sins by His sacrifice. Her parents never made church a priority, so she lived her entire life never knowing the One who could save her and give her freedom and everlasting life. And one fateful day, she lost her life in a severe car accident and because she never heard the good news about Jesus, her eternal destination was hell. She was never aware of the choice to accept Christ as her Savior, and she never knew she could be delivered from that fate.

After watching that account, I knew I had to get the word out to as many people as possible about what Jesus did for them—and know the truth about His gift of salvation. It’s the main reason I started this.

And upon reading Divine Encounters by Donna Rigney—her description of hell was so disturbing and horrific, I felt sick to my stomach. It raised some tough questions, like, where did evil come from? And, if God created everything—why did He create evil? Why would He create Lucifer if He knew that angel would rebel and plague humanity with lies, evil, and destruction?

I pushed it back in my mind, but God’s Spirit prompted me to ask Him those questions. I got a sense He wanted to address them because I’ve harbored them for years, but never gave Him a chance to answer. This was His opportunity—if I let Him.

I accepted His invitation, and this is what I believe He said. I’ve listed corresponding scripture to demonstrate the revelation is biblical.

“To know good is to know evil (Romans 2:20). Both exist (Genesis 3:5). You are right, I created all (Colossians 1:16). My angels knew of it, and they also were created with freewill (2 Peter 2:4). But they are not human (Job 38:4, 7). There was no hell until they rebelled. They did not know the fate that awaited them—just that good and evil existed. When they chose rebellion, they chose evil. They have freewill, but not redemption (2 Chronicles 18:18—because they were in the presence of God, they had knowledge of who God is but rejected Him anyway). There is nothing they can do to return to goodness. They made their choice, and that is where they exist—in evil.

“I knew some would rebel, but I created them anyway—for all had a choice. They did NOT know hell and the reality of what awaited them except these enlightened creatures knew the opposite of good is evil, the opposite of love is hate, and so forth. If they rejected love and goodness, they KNEW they rejected Me and would never return to My presence to serve Me. They didn’t want to be serving—they wanted to be served (Isaiah 14:12-14). Now they serve themselves and they are selfish, self-absorbed and they are forever separated from Me and My love, goodness, and purity. But they forever know my justice—for by rejecting Me, I was just, and gave them over to what they wanted (Romans 1:24-25)—serving only themselves, and they know their choice forever put them there (Ezekiel 28:14-19, Revelation 20:10, Matthew 25:41) and they hate Me for it. But I gave them what they wanted. They wanted to see what it would be like to live separated from Me, and by doing so, chose to leave all the goodness given to them. It was their choice, and they KNEW there would be consequences, yet they still chose to come against Me, the God of love, righteousness, joy, peace, and all goodness. Yes, they felt the good, yes; they experienced it, and like I said, to know goodness is to know evil. So, when rebelling, they knew what they were rejecting, because as they knew good, and they knew the absence of it—evil.”

Then I asked, “Lord, why would any creature ever choose that?”

“My dear beloved child, that is the question of all eternity—is it not?”

I believe God was telling me He didn’t ‘create’ evil, but it exists in the absence of everything that is good and pure and righteous. Evil is the rejection of truth, love, joy, peace and goodness. The removal of these things is where evil exists. God is those things, so if He is removed from the equation, the only thing left—is evil.

And because those creatures rebelled and can’t defeat God, they turn their hate toward destroying God’s beloved people (1 Peter 5:8-9). They are consumed with misery and lure humanity away from God—away from everything that is good and perfect and lovely (2 Corinthians 10:5)—so that we might share their same fate. They lie and tell us living for ourselves is not selfish and we won’t be punished for it (Genesis 3:4, James 1:14-15). That’s what they did, and it was their downfall. But they can never go back to God’s goodness—only we can. So, they do everything they can to make sure we don’t know God formed a rescue plan for humanity. They don’t want us to see the truth of what Jesus did—saved His precious people from the sin He knew they would fall into (Ephesians 1:3-5).

And if people stay separated from God, never repenting and asking Jesus to be their savior—when they die—the eternity that awaits them is hell and the lake of fire (Revelation 20:12, 15). The devil “wins” their souls because he was successful in keeping them away from Christ—the One who is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Those people have no hope of escaping. They are forever trapped to feel pain, sorrow, despair, fear, rejection, loneliness, and every other gruesome feeling that exists apart from God. And it never stops. The wickedness and hate of the enemy is pressed upon them relentlessly, continuously, with no chance of escape.

But God created a way out. The key is to accept it at some point during our lives (Romans 10:9). Because once we die, no more opportunities exist—our chance for eternal life in paradise is extinguished forever.

In her book, Donna explained how heartbroken Christ was over anyone who ends up in hell. Jesus says to her: “My child, do you understand why I lived and died so that none could come to this place? If they had listened to My words of warning and allowed Me to help them, they could have escaped this second death.” (Revelation 21:8)

The power of what Jesus did on the cross is unmatched and nothing can defeat it (Colossians 2:12-15 GNT). If we accept what Jesus did, that means Christ gives us the same power and authority to defeat the enemy (Luke 10:19), and once we belong to God, nothing can take that away! (John 10:28-20, Romans 8:37-39).

Now that you know the truth—that Jesus is the only way to salvation and eternal life in paradise, the next step should be simple—choosing Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Don’t wait—if you feel the urgency now, this is one of the opportunities the Holy Spirit is giving you (Revelation 3:20) to make the most important decision of your life—and who knows how many other chances you’ll get!

URGENT - YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!

THE MOST IMPORTANT CHOICE

It started with an incredible dream—a vision—that changed the trajectory of my life. I’ve experienced nothing like it, and I’m convinced it wasn’t a dream, but a glimpse of an alternate life I could’ve lived. 

Although I thought I was dreaming, I was dropped into a time when I was younger, a known fact in my mind. I was on a business trip for a few days in Miami and after our meetings concluded one evening, my coworkers and I headed to a seedy bar—a strip club—where many people in my industry frequented. I tagged along to have a few cocktails and that was it.

This time, a coworker invited everyone to try heroin. He offered it to the wait staff, dancers and, finally, to me. I refused. I had young kids at home and didn’t want to mess with that stuff. But he pressed, “it’s an escape from the grind for a night. Cut loose from your responsibilities for once.”

The next thing I knew, I woke up to a scene about 3-4 months later. The trip was in March and suddenly it was July. I looked around, and I lived in a tiny block house, still in Miami—but I knew the home wasn’t mine. My husband was at the small kitchen table, and I was standing twenty feet away. He was distant in both speech and gesture, but cordial. Just like I knew I was younger in the previous situation, I knew he and I were not together. I fumbled for my cell phone. 

The date confirmed the time lapse. I immediately dove into the pictures. In every one of them I was strung out with a drink in hand, strangers around me at parties, on a boat, one time on a raft—a hand reaching across the screen to grab me before I fell off into the abyss of the ocean. It scared me, and not just the photo where I almost drowned. It’s that I remembered none of it. I had no recollection of those events, no idea who those people were.

Shaken, I stared at my husband. He was discussing our split and provided signed paperwork—confirming our divorce. I begged him to forgive me and said I never stopped loving him or the kids. He shook his head and creased his eyebrows and said, “you left us. You never came home. You stayed here. I’m giving you what you wanted.”

I called my children. It was a pleasant conversation, but I tried to hide my sobs as tears poured down my cheeks. How could I do this? How could I leave these little children without a mom, and a husband, whom I loved? How could I do this? Why would I do this? I missed the past few months with them to party with strangers? I left my family and everything I loved and cared about for this shallow and harmful fun?

At that moment, I knew I lost my job, and I worked as a waitress at the club we visited that fateful night, and I knew I was an addict. Someone was ‘taking care of me’ who owned this house, but I had no recollection of who it was. I felt empty and disappointed and angry I ended up like this—leaving everything behind, knowing there was no point of return. I destroyed my family; I was destroying my kids because I abandoned them. And I chose to do it.

After I hung up, I ran outside. I fell on the porch, feeling the rough pavement on my hands, the hardness under my knees. I felt the heat and the humidity of the air, heard the wind in the palm trees. As I sobbed, I knew this couldn’t possibly be a dream—it was too real. I thought this as my cries racked my shoulders, the crushing weight of my choices producing such anguish I thought I might die.

I grieved for everything I lost, everything I gave up, everything my life had become—a broken and shattered shadow of what it once was. Hunched over, I gasped for breath—trying to understand how I might navigate this new future. Bawling my eyes out and thrashing my head, I saw a basketball hidden under a bush. I knew it belonged to one of my children when they came to visit me here in this new life, rolling out of sight and forgotten, just like the precious people in my life were soon to be.

The worst part was that I remembered nothing of my children’s visit. But this was to be their new future, too. Their family ripped apart, dragged between states visiting mom, but living with dad. Because mom was no longer responsible enough to care for them, let alone herself.

I had to fix this. With a sudden jolt of purpose, I stood and almost hit my head on the passenger mirror of a royal blue truck—another detail that confirmed this was no dream. Then a realization flooded over me—this was a glimpse of an alternate reality. God showed me a future I could’ve chosen but didn’t. I didn’t choose this. But God, in His grace, brought me here to this place, to show me how I could’ve lost everything. I believe He dropped me into this future so I could experience the shock of where my life could’ve turned.

At that moment, God filled me with peace. This was not the future I chose. Because the future I chose was Him. I chose God; I chose His Son, Jesus Christ, and I chose life and chose to have it more abundantly (John 10:10a). At some point, before that trip, God reached out to me, and I paid attention; I listened. God never stops trying to get our attention, and He caught mine before this trip destroyed everyone and everything I had—and may have killed me because of the drug addiction I took on.

The point is, no matter where you are, no matter what you’ve done, God is just waiting for you to choose Him. I believe he showed me this, so I can tell you it’s never too late. But the time is now. When you have an opportunity to choose, you should—right at that moment. Because in an instant your life can change—one choice, one decision—can alter your path. Or it can end. Then the opportunity to choose God would cease. No more chances for help or rescue. None.

That’s why this message is so important—that’s why it’s urgent. We only have today. We don’t know what tomorrow brings, and we don’t know how many other opportunities we’ll get to change our fate.

You are never too old, too young, or too far gone with the choices you’ve made thus far. God loves you, and He’s trying to get your attention. He won’t force you to come to Him. You have free will and it’s your choice. But remember, just like the choice I made in that vision, your future depends on it. God is trying to get your attention. Take this as an opportunity to choose Him and secure your salvation and eternity in paradise. It is God’s plan to give you an abundant life, but if you reject this invitation, you miss the chance to reach your full potential—your true purpose and destiny. And if you miss an opportunity to accept Christ before your earthly life is over, the only destination available to you is hell. Make no mistake—it’s your choice where you end up. What you choose, God allows.
