  • Step 1: About you and your group

  • Application for Financial Assistance

Tampa Bay Watch is dedicated to making marine science education accessible to traditionally marginalized and/or underserved community members. We continually identify and build partnerships to better understand barriers to participation and overcome these challenges in various ways. Our multifaceted approach includes securing funds through grants, corporate donors, and individual donors to cover our operating costs and to offer discounted - or, in some cases, free - learning opportunities to groups in need. If you are seeking financial support to attend an educational program at Tampa Bay Watch, please complete the application below and we will follow up with you regarding your request. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a limited budget, Tampa Bay Watch requires most groups to make an affordable monetary contribution to help offset the cost of their learning experience. After reviewing your application, we typically use a sliding scale to identify and suggest a reasonable payment amount. If you are truly unable to afford the amount requested, please let us know. We do not want to turn students away from discovering Tampa Bay with us, so we will do our best to find a solution.
