Terms of Sponsorship
The sponsor desires to support the 2024 Greensboro Parks Foundation Open by associating the sponsor’s name and logo with the event. In accordance with this agreement, the sponsor will remit payment of the sponsorship fee or provide in-kind support (or both) to Greensboro Parks Foundation acting as the fiscal agent on behalf of the Greensboro Parks and Recreation. In consideration of the organization paying the sponsorship fee or providing in-kind support (or both) during the term of this agreement, Greensboro Parks Foundation agrees to identify and acknowledge the organization as a sponsor of the 2024 Greensboro Parks Foundation Open, pursuant to Internal Revenue Code § 513(i) and related Treasury Regulations, by displaying the sponsor’s logo and other agreed-upon identifying information on marketing, advertising, and promotional media in connection with the 2024 Greensboro Parks Foundation Open, in the manner (placement, form, content, etc.) reasonably determined by Greensboro Parks Foundation in consultation with Greensboro Parks and Recreation. The sponsor agrees to provide all the necessary content and materials for use in connection with such sponsorship. The sponsor’s involvement with the 2024 Greensboro Parks Foundation Open will be limited in scope, consistent with Greensboro Parks Foundation’s nonprofit status and federal tax exemption requirements. Greensboro Parks Foundation’s acceptance of the sponsorship payment does not suggest or convey the foundation’s approval, endorsement, certification, acceptance, or referral of any product or service of the sponsor. No written or oral statements or materials developed or intended for use in connection with the sponsor’s support for the 2024 Greensboro Parks Foundation Open will be used without the advance review and written approval of Greensboro Parks Foundation.
I hereby acknowledge and agree to the terms of this sponsorship agreement and understand that sponsorship is for the 2024 Greensboro Parks Foundation Open to be held on October 16, 2024, and that I must submit a check, schedule an ACH payment, or transfer in-kind goods or services in the amount equal to the price of my selected recognition level, in order for my sponsorship to be valid.
