I would like to help Organization further its charitable mission by allowing it to use the Materials (defined below) as described in this document. By signing below, I, the particpant (or the participant's legal guardian) agree as follows:

Safety and Conduct
I will comply with the Organization’s volunteer policies, safety rules, conduct expectations, and other directions. I understand that the Business does not tolerate bullying, harassment, threatening behavior, or violence of any kind.

Volunteer Not an Employee
I understand that I am not an employee of the Organization and will not be paid for participation as a volunteer or be eligible for participation in the Organization’s benefit plans.

Awareness and Assumption of Risk
I acknowledge that volunteering with the Organization has risks. These risks may arise in a variety of ways, including from my:

•  lifting heavy objects or other physical exertion
• materials moving at high speeds
• using sharp objects or other tools
• exposure to dust or loud noise
• interacting with or being in the presence of other volunteers, visitors, or others
• exposure to COVID-19 or other infectious disease

I assume and accept any and all risks of injury, illness, death, and property damage or loss that may arise from my presence at the Organization facilities, partner facilities or participation as a Business volunteer.

Consent

I consent to the use by Organization of my name, city and state of residence, biographical and personal background, statements, voice, image, and likeness, in any format, including photos, video, audio, print, or electronic (together, the "Materials"), and grant to Organization the unrestricted, perpetual, and worldwide right and license to use the Materials as Organization determines, in its sole discretion, is appropriate to promote and otherwise carry out its mission. I agree that Organization may make the Materials available on its website, in its publications, or through any other media, including social networking platforms. I understand that I am not entitled to inspect or approve the use of the Materials, receive notice of their use or publication, or receive any payment. 

Organization's Rights in the Materials 
I grant to Organization all copyrights and other rights I may have in the Materials. I acknowledge and agree that Organization owns the physical Materials, as well as the content, any ideas or information they may generate, and the right to copy, edit, change, transfer, create derivative works of, or otherwise use the Materials as Organization sees fit. I confirm that I have all the rights and licenses necessary to make these grants. I understand that Organization is not obligated to exercise any of the rights granted under this document.

Revoking My Consent

I understand that I may revoke my consent at any time by sending a written notice to hello@blackpickleball.org. Following receipt of the notice, Organization will not use the Materials in future publications or media.

Waiver of Legal Claims

I waive and release Organization, its directors, officers, employees, agents, affiliates, and assigns from any legal claims, including any claims relating to copyright, rights of publicity or privacy, false light, or moral rights that I may have in the Materials or Organization's use and ownership of the Materials. 

I have read this agreement and understand its terms and that I am giving up certain legal rights by signing it. I sign it freely and voluntarily. 

If under the age of 18 you must have a parent or legal guardian sign this waiver before you may participate in any activities at or for Black Pickleball.
