We offer both compliance and full-service options depending on our client's needs. Compliance work is the lowest service offering and is typically charged per service with options to add extras as needed.

All full-service offerings (and bookkeeping) require a fixed monthly fee. You can, for example, opt for bookkeeping and compliance-only tax prep, in which case your bookkeeping will be a fixed monthly fee, and then tax prep would be charged separately.

For most new or small businesses, bookkeeping should be enough, but if you are larger or looking for a more robust offering, then full service might be for you.

There are different ways to prepare your tax return, whether you have used a self-service option (like TurboTax), used a big box firm (like H&R Block), or used a professional (like a CPA or EA). The question below specifically asks about tax professionals.

Although we do not currently outsource any tax returns to third parties, whether locally or internationally, we often work outside of the United States or, in the future, may need to outsource some work. To be able to remain in compliance, we ask our clients to sign a consent to foreign disclosure letter (if you become a client there is a FAQ page that goes into more details about this)

Individual

Our minimum fee for individual tax prep is $300. This is for clients who want to use a professional and only have W-2 income and interest income or for dependent returns when we prepare the parent's return. For average returns, you will be between $850 and $2,000.

 

Entities

The minimum for tax prep for most business clients is $1,600. Fees for nonprofits are lower than the minimums listed above.

Monthly bookkeeping - fixed

Our minimum bookkeeping fee is $500. All fixed subscriptions include the price of your QBO account, rewind backup, data entry/transaction classification for bank and credit cards, some 1099s, and a financial review meeting. 

 

Monthly/quarterly basic bookkeeping - hourly

We have a cheaper hourly option for clients who are comfortable doing their own books and need a second set of eyes or infrequent help.

 

Bookkeeping set up

We offer 3 fixed tiers to choose from for those who need their books set up.

 

Bookkeeping review/clean-up

For those who only want review/clean-up, we offer 3 fixed tiers priced per quarter.
