This model casting is in partnership with Heyman Talent Agency. If you're already represented by an agency (and marked on your casting form) your information WILL NOT be available to our partner agencies. Fashion Week Columbus (FWC) takes your modeling career and the modeling industry very seriously, and we respect all modeling agencies. Unrepresented models will have the opportunity of being scouted (by the way of the virtual casting) by Heyman Talent Agency and other partners.
Although this is a volunteer modeling opportunity, we've seen many models gain regional and international representation and immediately start working as a paid model through their agency. Being on the FWC model roster opens you up to many opportunities. Many models become part of the Central Ohio fashion eco system we've been helping to develop since 2010.
Please note: We will have up to 3 fittings which you'll be required to attend, if selected as a model. The fittings are normally scheduled on a Sunday from 1PM to 4PM. Exact dates will be announced soon.
Please fill out the form as accurately as possible. It's important you list your accurate measurements, so designers understand the model measurements they're working with. If your measurements are not close to what you've listed at the fitting, then you may be released.
Booked Models will only walk for one designer for one or more of the following shows: Finale Runway Show (Oct 19), High Fashion Tea Runway Show (Oct 13). If a designer has specifically requested you to audition (and if you're willing to walk for them), place the designer's name in the appropriate field on the casting form.
Other modeling opportunities may include: FWC Lookbook shoot, Macy's Fall Fashion Show, FWCCurve Runway Show, The Boutique Fashion Show, The Recycled Runway Show, The Fashion Presentations, etc...
FWC is accepting submissions from all ages (16+), sizes, and genders identities (including gender neutral). If you are not selected by a designer for either of the listed runway shows, there may be other opportunities to still be involved as a model and other shows to be considered for. Please check your email on a regular basis for these opportunities.
Fashion Week Columbus is the flagship program of the Columbus Fashion Council, a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide scholarships to fashion design students and a platform for local fashion designers. Monetarily compensatation is not promised for modeling gigs with Fashion Week Columbus however, many models receive a lot of exposure to local and international modeling agencies, international brands, and also have the opportunity to work with some of the top designers, photographers, makeup artists, hair stylists, etc.. in Central Ohio and the nation.
We look forward to your submission!
