Early completion of this form assists with planning for the upcoming season and allows us to add your details to our “Team App” to keep you up to date with latest details. If your circumstances change as we get closer to the season starting please get in touch.

Year of Birth
Based on the Year of Birth (YOB) field a number of entry fields below will change.

Age Group

Refer following graphic - The Primary YOB for each age group is shaded green - for example Born 2013 are the oldest players eligible to Play U12 and they may also then play U13, U14 or U15 at the discretion of coaches.

UQ Affiliation

For our Senior players we do request insight into your affiliation with the University of Queensland either as a student, alumni or staff - we are required to include this in our reporting to UQ, it is NOT mandatory.

Tournaments

This season we have two tournaments to plan for, both in the easter holidays 2025
- Australian Youth Water Polo Championships - AYWPC (Perth) – 14 to 24th April
- QLD States (Gold Coast) - April 5th to 13th
Primary v Secondary Membership

All members registered with UQWPC as Primary will be considered for State and National Team Selection. Priority will also be given to Primary members for "A Team" Selection.

The ability for Secondary to be selected is dependent upon a number of factors and cannot be guaranteed.

Reminder that Primary status is allocated to the club you register with first when the annual registration opens.

BWPI Team Restrictions

The maximum number of games an athlete can play for a single club or school is 2 unless an exemption has been approved. Please get in touch with club if this is relevant to your situation.

Trial Fee

We are considering implementing a trial fee this season – will be discounted from the season fees – watch for further details.
