The Oasis Mentorship Program is open to Black youths looking to advance and grow their careers regardless of their position level, experience or skillset. You simply need to be committed to learning and owning your career development.
Important information to note:
Who can be a Mentee?
- A black-identifying recent graduate or skilled immigrant who has lived in Canada for less than 5 years
- You are unemployed or underemployed and are looking to find gainful employment
- Someone who is willing to put in the time and effort to understand how the Canadian job market works, build new connections and bridge any research gaps you may have
- You have not participated in the program before
Commitments & Expectations
- The program will run for 3 months with a required minimum commitment of five-30 minute sessions throughout the program timeframe.
- Required to commit to a minimum of six working sessions over the course of the program; however, if you and your Mentor are clicking, feel free to connect more!
- This will be a fully virtual program, however, if both parties feel comfortable they can feel free to connet in person
