Venice Fitness Pageant Rules and Regulations

For security purposes, all Contestants MUST read the contents of this RULES AND REGULATION page thoroughly. To be eligible for the Venice Fitness Pageant, you must adhere to the following criteria: Contestants must be 19 years old to participate in the VFP. Contestants must be legal citizens of the US.  Contestants should be a natural born Female. Contestants should not have a criminal record, felony, or any convictions. Contestants should be of excellent moral character. Contestants will be required to pay a NON-REFUNDABLE registration/ application fee to be eligible to enter. They're also required to choose from one of the 3 tier packages to secure their spot in the competition. Contestants should be in good health and of a sound mind during all aspects of the VFP process. Contestants must have been on a continuous health and fitness journey for 6 months or more. Contestants can be single or married, divorced, or separated with children but can’t be pregnant at time of competition.  If there is a change in circumstances, then the Contestant must contact the VFP office immediately. Please note that this may affect a change in her eligibility to compete. Under no circumstances should Contestant have posed or have been photographed or video nude or semi-nude and appeared in a publication, film, or internet. Contestants will give consent and permission to the VFP to televise, record or video the pageant.  Contestant that is crowned Titleholders will understand and agree that, during their one-year reign in the capacity as a Venice Fitness Pageant Titleholder, that her professional affairs in her role as Royalty can be organized by Venice Fitness Pageant and that she will be required to obtain written permission before undertaking any endorsements. Contestants will need to acknowledge that all rights from appearances, endorsements, speaking engagements, acting roles, etc. resulting from participating as a Titleholder shall belong to Venice Fitness Pageant.

Contestants must not provide falsified information or details on their Registration Form.  If it is established that a contestant has provided false information this will lead to instance dismissal from the Venice Fitness Pageant and stripping of her Title. The Contestant will be required to return all prizes awarded, and this will be given to the 2nd Runner Up who will be the successor to the Title.  Contestants MUST NOT have a CRIMINAL RECORD or have been involved in any illegal activities that will, in any way, dishonor the name of the pageant.  Illegal drugs, alcohol abuse and smoking will, under no circumstances, this will be permitted by any VFP Titleholder. The Title holder for the Venice Fitness Pageant will refrain from smoking and drinking while representing the Venice Fitness Pageant in public appearances.

Contestants taking part in the Venice Fitness Pageant must be of good moral character possess grace, elegance, social skills, and etiquette.  All Contestants should never have been convicted of a crime, felony or have had any criminal charges pending against them and should not, in any way, have been engaged in any activities that are characterized as dishonest, immoral, or indecent. Nor UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE should the Contestant have a drug or alcohol addiction, have a recreational drug problem, been arrested, incarcerated, outstanding warrants i.e., traffic, speeding tickets. Contestants MUST abide by the Rules and Regulations herein and should, always, display first-rate manners, etiquette and team spirit and exercise sportsman-like behavior to all other Finalists, members of staff and all associated.  “Venice Fitness Pageant” is a classy but professional, orderly, and timely event.  UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES will any tardiness, profanities, racially motivated comments, harassment, obscene or abusive language or gestures be permitted.   This policy also extends to the family and supporters of the Finalists.  Any Finalists, family member or guest found to be displaying such conduct shall be automatically disqualified from the Venice Fitness Pageant. You and or your family member or guest will be escorted off the premises immediately.

First and foremost, THIS IS NOT A BODY BUILDING COMPETITION. THE VENICE FITNESS PAGEANT is for your everyday women who has continually been on her fitness journey for a continuous 6 months or more. All our finalists must have the following: Possess a bright and lovely personality and have excellent manners and social skills.  She must also have charisma, elegance, poise, and a charming nature.  Be Between the ages 19 to 59 years and above by the date of the Fitness Pageant event. Possess a bright, compassionate, caring, and genuine personality. Radiate a unique, divine, bright, and charming charismatic disposition. Have poise, elegance, excellent decorum, manners, and etiquette. Be an excellent conversationalist with complementing social skills. Possess natural, and wholesome beauty - both inside and out.

Contestants will be required to participate in all dance routines, active wear, after 5 wear/ best attire, question answers, and costume. The question-and-answer portion of the Fitness Pageant will only have 30 seconds to answer the question. It will be mandatory for all Contestants to adhere to the points below. Each Contestant will have the opportunity and capability to be awarded up to 2 additional points to their overall score by achieving marketing assignments. Tickets: Sell a minimum of up to $150 worth of tickets for the event.   Promoting social media:  To promote yourself and the Venice Fitness Pageant on all your social media outlets must be in a positive, inspirational, and uplifting way. 

Age Division 1: 19 – 29, Age Division 2: 30 – 39, Age Division 3: 40 – 49, Age Division 4: 50 – 59. If there’s not enough contestants in their age division, they will compete in the division above or below their age division. The top highest each Age Division will move on to the final phase.  The final phase is where the top highest score among all Age Division will be crowned the overall winner of the Venice Fitness Pageant. We will also select the second-place winner. If the Titleholder fails to present herself according to the standards, rules, and regulations of the Venice Fitness Pageant winner during her 1-year reign she will be disqualified, stripped of her title and return all cash, prizes, and rewards back immediately.  The crown will then go to the 2nd place winner. The Judges Panel will be looking for Contestants who exude natural essence, confidence, etiquette, and personality. The Judges Panel have been instructed to deduct a minimum of up to 1 point and above if they deem it necessary from scores should they see any of the above NOT being displayed on or by the Contestants.  The Judge’s Panel’s decision is full and final. The scoring is very simple!  Scores will be based on the following: Introduction/Athletic wear - Symmetry, Shape, Portion, Muscle Tone and Poise. *Dance routine - demonstrates precise and controlled movements exhibits proper alignment and posture all with a smile. *After 5 Wear – Your first impression on the judges, the beauty of your face, figure, your poise, and composure and that you are dressed appropriately for your age.  The overall look. *On- Stage Questions- What do you think about? How do you approach life? How do you think about events and problems? Where do you see yourself in the future? These questions are some examples. *Goddess Costume – How well is the costume put together and the material flow? Does it look like you’re from that time?  Is it original? For each category the score will be i.e. 0.5, 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, up to 10. All scores will be tallied digitally so there won’t be any error in scoring. Scoring is subject to change. During the After 5 Wear competition, as the contestants prepare for their question judges 1, 2, or 3 will select a random number from the "Golden Bowl" to ask the questions. Contestants will have 30 seconds to articulate their answers with confidence. If the Contestant goes pass 30 seconds, they will get up to 1 point deducted from their score from the judge that asked the question. Once the VFP has received the top 20 applicants, they may be required to do an in-person interview that will last no longer than 5 - 10 minutes in duration.  Be prepared to show or give examples of your fitness routine. They will be notified in advance.

Contestants must attend ALL rehearsals, training sessions and events to secure their spot in participating in the Venice Fitness Pageant. All rehearsals will be CLOSED to the public, family, friends, and children.  On the day of competition, the only people that are allowed backstage will be staff, volunteers, security, and anyone that is participating in the competition. This also applies to the day of the Venice Fitness Pageant. We want all Contestants to be fully engaged and focused without having any distraction during rehearsal times, and time of the competition. Unless it is an emergency or inclement weather.  Showing up LATE or being Absence to any rehearsals, photo shots, competition, and any event that is related to the competition that requires the Contestant to attend, under NO CIRCUMSTANCES being late will be tolerated.  Contestants’ consistent lateness and absence will disqualify them immediately from the competition. Also, their pre purchased registration fee will be NON- REFUNABLE. It is imperative that all garments, valuables, and any personal property be brought to the pageant in a “Lockable” suitcase clearly marked with your name. The “VENICE FITNESS PAGEANT” will not be held responsible for any stolen, damage, or loss of property that may arise.  It is the sole responsibility of the contestant to ensure that all their valuables and garments are secure.  Any Contestant who is not able to participate in the pageant MUST give at least 6 week’s written notice prior to the Fitness Pageant to give the opportunity for another contestant to take part. Please Note: Any Deposits Registration Fee paid will not be refunded or transferable.

Tattoos and Body Piercings should be minimal to Contestants are only permitted to wear one (1) pair of earrings in each earlobe. Visible tattoos on any part of the body must be discreet and covered much as possible. Excessive piercings will need to be removed for the Venice Fitness Pageant. Contestants are welcome to find Sponsors to assist them with Fitness Pageant Registration and Tier Fees. In fact, we actively encourage it! We want all the Contestants involved in our Venice Fitness Pageant.  You can access either family, friends or acquaintances who want to sponsor you, then this is great!  You may also want to contact local businesses such as Supermarkets, Banks, Beauty Salons, Hairdressers, Doctors offices, local shops any other organization that you feel may be interested in sponsoring you. You can have either one sponsor or many who are ready to support your entry into the Venice Fitness Pageant.  All Contestants are encouraged to use their social networking pages such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and to promote their entry into the Venice Fitness Pageant.  However, these platforms may be observed upon Venice Fitness Pageant discretion. As you will be presenting the Venice Pageant Fitness, we would ask that you pay close attention to the comments, photographs, and messages that you are posting and that they are befitting your etiquette as a Contestant.  If any contestant or Queen is found out to have in appropriate photographs, defamatory comments, or vial behavior then they will be immediately disqualified without reimbursement of Registration Fee and their title will be relinquished. 

Contestants will understand and acknowledge that your Venice Fitness Pageant Title is owned and controlled by the Venice Fitness Pageant, LLC.​ You agree that, if you fail to operate or live up the expectation of a Venice Fitness Pageant Titleholder or adhere to the rules, regulations and terms or obligations hereof, that this could result in your disqualification as a Titleholder together with the immediate return of all prizes awarded, cash prizes and your crown and sash.  Furthermore, should the Titleholder fail to operate, live up to the expectation or does not conduct themselves commensurate with that of a Venice Fitness Pageant Titleholder, or does not adhere to the rules, regulations and terms or obligations hereof, then this could also result in her disqualification as a Titleholder together with the immediate return of ALL prizes awarded, cash prizes and your crown and sash. All Venice Fitness Pageant Titleholders will radiate all the positive attributes and continue their health and fitness journey while representing the Venice Fitness Pageant. They will hold their title for a period of 1 (one) year and must be available to attend the next year’s Finals to crown the new winner/s.     

All Finalists give permission for their name and likeness to be used in conjunction with any publicity to do with the Venice Fitness Pageant and agree to be interviewed by the press and associated media should the situation arise. Contestants understand and give permission and consent for my name, image, photos, likeness, and voice to be used without charge for all publicity and commercial purposes and in the eventuality that you may appear on Television. All Titleholders (1st and Runners-Up) will be required to make special appearances scheduled and arranged by the Venice Fitness Pageant director. While representing Venice Fitness Pageant at all events and appearances, it will be imperative that the Venice Fitness Pageant Titleholder be dressed appropriately in a gown, interview suit or similar outfit. They must exhibit expert etiquette, social skills, and manners always, refrain from texting or speaking on cell phones unless approved by the Pageant Director or staff.

“VENICE FITNESS PAGEANT” will provide a professional videographer to record the Pageant.  This will be on sale to Finalists only. Therefore, under no circumstances will there be permitted any videoing or filming of the event in the auditorium.  "VENICE FITNESS PAGEANT " will not be held responsible if an act of nature, severe/bad weather or power failure causes the Pageant to be canceled or postponed Registration fees will be NON – REFUNDABLE. The dress code for guests attending the event will be classy/elegant attire of the day of the Venice Fitness Pageant. No casual wear, jeans, hats, t-shirts, etc. All rules can be changed at any time by the Venice Fitness Pageant Founder/CEO or Director as deemed appropriate.
