  • Parade Narrative Guidelines:

Please provide a brief description of your organization and parade unit in 150 words or less.

For units with multiple vehicles (e.g., trolleys or decorated vehicles), please include at least 20–30 words per vehicle. We recommend listing the names and titles of occupants at the beginning of the narrative, as vehicles may pass the announcer stand before the names are read.
The order in which vehicles are listed in this narrative is the order they must appear on Parade morning. If the order changes, the announcer may read incorrect names for the wrong vehicle.

Narratives will be read live at all announcer/review stands along the parade route and may be included in television coverage. Keep your wording short, clear, and descriptive, as the unit will be moving during the reading. Avoid lengthy introductions, repetition, or excessive detail.

The Parade Committee reserves the right to edit all entries for clarity, consistency, and timing.

    Mahalo for your kōkua!
