All volunteers must complete a yearly criminal background check. New volunteers must attend a 1-hour training session. Both in-person and virtual training opportunities are available. High impact tutoring involves frequent, personalized sessions, providing consistent support to help children understand and retain key concepts. For this reason, tutoring takes place Monday-Thursday for 15 minutes between 2:30pm-9:00 pm.at the same time each day.
