WHO?
The gigcraft summer school is available to all students from Warrington and Halton from year 9 to year 13.
WHAT?
You will take on a music industry role and develop the skills required to deliver a live streamed, on-stage performance to an audience of family and friends.
The Gigcraft Summer School is delivered by Spirit Studios (A higher education provider in Manchester) and Priestley College. This is a two day summer school featuring practical workshops in:
- Songwriting and Performance
- Live Sound and Lighting
- Stage Management
- Artist Liason
- PR and Marketing
- Music Journalism, Photography and Videography
WHEN?
Over two days (Thursday 18th July and Friday 19th July).
Each day starts at 10am and finishes at 4pm
WHERE?
The workshops and live performances will take place at Spirit Studios, near to Picadilly Station in Manchester. Many of the workshops and the final performance will take place in the Charlie Jone Live Venue within the Spirit building.
