If there is an accident or emergency, we will try to reach you . In the event we are unable to, we need you to provide details for an emergency contact .
  • We have a high standard when it comes to safety protocol, but in the unlikely event of an accident, we may need to administer basic first aid. This includes, but not limited to cleaning cuts, applying dressings/plasters, use of ice packs etc.
We will always inform you of any incidents, and our staff will complete an incident form, which you will be asked to sign.

If we are unable to reach either of the above, and the requured care is urgent, staff will need to take you child while we will continually attempt to make contact with you.

  • We are very careful when we hire staff within our childcare settings. We verify references and Access NI clearance and continually engage with them to ensure they are meeting our high standards.

We will always strive to maintain a positive and respectful attitude with our parents and caregivers. A staff member may have to occasionaly mention minor incidents, To help us run smoothly we ask that parents maintain a polite and respecful attitude with all our staff.

In the event we have a ongoing concern or of greater weight, we will assign one of our safe-guarding team to discuss this with you.

If you, at any time, have a concern with a staff member, or the preschool in general we ask that you would raise this issue with our safe-guarding officer Lesley, or in the event she is unreachable, our founder and C.E.O Leanne.
