  • Our organization frequently utilizes ambassadors and adoptable animals at public outreach events. Ambassador animals can be displayed in enclosures or allow for hands-on interaction with the public. Most of our ambassadors are kept at the primary Badgerland Reptile Rescue facility in Kenosha and brought to events. However, a few belong to our event volunteers or may be temporarily fostered by volunteers between events.

If you have an animal that you believe may be a good ambassador, please contact Sarah Grannis Stewart directly for details on the process. All animals must have been in the volunteer's possession for at least six months and display no signs of stress when handling or interacting with the public at events.

Additionally, if you are willing to act as a foster volunteer OR temporarily foster an ambassador animal between events, please contact Sarah Grannis Stewart.
