In order to keep our campus drug free, the following drug testing and search
procedures are established:
W.C.C.A. students will be subject to urinalysis screens and searches by W.C.C.A.personnel. Testing and searches will be directed either by the Headmaster, administrative staff or designee. There will be two (2) types of urinalysis screens: random and individual. Random testing will be used to select individuals for urinalysis at unscheduled intervals. The student’s participation in the random screen will be to provide a urine sample under controlled conditions. Individual testing may be required of any student whenever circumstances indicate possible use of illegal substances. The headmaster, administrative staff or designee may direct screening of an individual who has been identified by changes in personality, modification in behavior, erratic classroom performance and attendance, or by other means indicating problems related to drug abuse. The student(s) will be transported to Catchings Clinic for actual collection of sample and chain of custody.
Refusal to participate in searches or screenings will result in dismissal of student and parent notification.
All W.C.C.A. students and their parents MUST sign the agreement of compliance with the academy’s drug policies and procedures or not be admitted to W.C.C.A.
WE, THE PARENT/GUARDIAN AND STUDENT HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE ABOVE DRUG TESTING AND SEARCH POLICY.
