  • Student Code of Conduct Form

  • Valiente Dual Academy strives to provide an opportunity for homeschooled children to learn a second language alongside their peers in a faith-based, encouraging setting. The student code of conduct enables us to maintain a safe and respectful atmosphere for our language learners. Please read below and agree to the following and share with your student prior to the start of their first class.

  • Student expectations:

    • We expect our students to be respectful towards educators in the course of their duties.
    • We expect students to complete the work assigned to them by educators with a good attidude.
    • We expect our students to be honest at all times.
    • We expect our students to speak appropriately in all languages.
    • We expect students to ask permission before leaving the classroom for any reason.
    • We expect our students to take care of all personal and classroom property.
    • We expect our students to keep their bodies to themselves, physical misconduct or mistreatment of others will not be tolerated.
    • We expect our students to obey the instructions of an educator, staff member, or volunteer when instructed.
    • We expect students to listen and follow along with the class and strive to not cause disruption within the class.

    • We expect students to refrain from using mobile devices unless it is an emergency.
    • We expect students to not be in possession of weapons of any kind (including Swiss army knives).

  • We will assess each offense individually based on severity. Valiente Dual Academy will then progress by writing an incident report, speaking with the parent/gaurdian about the incident and moving forward with a plan of correction in place. However, if the offense is repetitive or severe enough, Valiente Dual Academy reserves the rights to expell the student for the remainder of the quarter.
