Under Australian Government food safety legislation, food handlers, including educators that come into any contact with food should be trained in food safety and hygiene, or demonstrate adequate skills and knowledge. This Short Course fulfills this requirement.
This course is Fully Accredited and fulfills the requirements of training required to fulfill the role of “Food Safety Supervisor”. This course fulfils the requirements of Food Supervisor accreditation across all states and territories INCLUDING New South Wales. In addition to your Statement of Attainment you will be issued a NSW Food Authority Food Safety Supervisor Certificate. Under NSW food safety legislation, only Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) endorsed by the NSW Food Safety Authority are able to deliver accredited food safety training supervisor training. EPEC Education is approved deliver this training.

To cater to the different training requirements of Food Safety Supervisors in the Health and Community Services sector across these states, we've 'clustered' three nationally accredited units: HLTFSE001, HLTFSE005, and HLTFSE007. This consolidation offers a smoother study experience by reducing repetition compared to completing each unit separately. These units are Fully Accredited and fulfil the requirements of training required to fulfil the role of “Food Safety Supervisor” in TAS, SA, VIC, QLD, WA, NT, ACT Health and Community Food businesses eg Child Care Centres.
