With his/her signature the participant confirms that he/she meets the requirement that enable him/her for the execution of the event ”Bungee Jumping“ – jump on a rubber cord – and that he/she as person has no estoppels that could stand contrary to the participation.
Precondition is a good physical and intellectual constitution as the execution of this event can entail a considerable physical and mental exposure.
The organizer offers the participant the opportunity to execute a bungee jump. The organizer allocates the necessary device and material.
The participant knows that the execution of Bungee Jumping is a dangerous activity and entails considerable risks that inevitably
result from this kind of sport. The potential of an injury, also serious, cannot be excluded. Because of that the jump takes place at the participant´s own risk.
The participant is excluded particularly for persons with following health impairments: Pregnancy, high blood pressure, heart-troubles, cardiac pacemaker, epilepsy, ophthalmic operations, glaucoma, retina damages, increased risk concerning the circulation system, known vascular abnormities, diseases of the inner ear, chronic indispositions of the ear combined with disturbances of equilibrium, mental diseases, thrombosis or marcoumar therapy, damages in the musculoskeletal system (neurological disorders), constitutional malformations and educational disorders and acquired damages of the spine and degeneration appearances that influence the function of the spine considerably. Persons wo are on drugs or who drank alcohol are also excluded from participation.
The participation implies a minimum age of 16 years, a weight of minimum 50 kg and maximum 120. Participants younger than 18 years can only attend with signature of a present legal guardian. The legal guardian signs this agreement of participation. A Tandem-jump implies a maximum total weight of 170 kg. The participation at a Tandem-Jump implies the same regulations concerning age and weight as the participation at a single person jump (single person minimum weight 50 kg).
The participant also confirms with his/her signature to absolutely obey the instructions of the organizer. The participant is particularly instructed to protect neck and head from contact with the rubber cord through attaching the stretched arms next to/over the head area. Touching or holding the cord during jump and rebound phase is to be omitted. Additionally the participant who jumps over water is instructed to close the eyes, to hold his/her head between the stretched arms shortly before dipping in and then to break the water with his/her fists. These specified instructions of closing the eyes and stretching the arms is to be obeyed also in case of not ordered dipping in, as with approach of the water contact cannot be excluded. This is due to positioning tolerances.
During the jump, especially during the rebound, a collision with the cord is possible. A dipping in the water cannot be guaranteed.
Bungee Jumping is an outdoor sport: The organizer assumes no liability for soiling ar damaging clothing worn during the event. This applies also for deposited articles. The organizer acts as liable partner for the flow of the performance (from takeover of the person on the tower crane/cage/ramp till landing on the base). Liability claims are excluded regarding every kind of damages sufferd associated with the event, be it contractual or tortuous, as far as the damage is not based upon intent of coarse carelessness of the organizer. This indemnity counts also for
the benefit of employees of the organizer and their assistants.
Especially concerning organization and security. At contravention against instructions the organizer is authorized to interdict the participation.The participant also confirms with his/her signature to absolutely obey the instructions of the organizer – especially concerning organization and security. At contravention against instructions the organizer is authorized to interdict the participation.
Photo and video material: With this signature the participant agrees that the recorded photo and film material can be used by the VSE and/or its partner companies (e.g. distribution partner, representative of the press) irrevocable for PR, advertising, sales and marketing purposes. He/she confirms that no personal rights are injured through his/her occurrence in the recorded photo and film material. The participant agrees particularly that this material may be used free of charge, worldwide and in perpetuity, for all known usages (e.g. www – homepage, social media, media cooperations, PR – newspaper article, as well as further publications of any type). The participant affirms that all rights regarding to production, distribution and publication of the material mentioned above are exclusively owned by the VSE. And with the above mentioned grant of rights or the intended use, no third party rights will be violated (e.g. further photographers, picture agencies).
