This Contract (the "Contract") is entered into between [Massachusetts Organization of African Descendants] (hereinafter referred to as "MOAD") and [DJ's Name or Entertainer Name] (hereinafter referred to as "DJ") (or hereinafter referred to a Entertainer) for the purpose of outlining the terms and conditions of our collaboration for the 2025 Worcester African Festival.
1. SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED:
Option 1: DJ Services Only
- Provide exceptional DJ services during the festival.
Option 2: For Entertainers ONLY
- Entertainers inlcude performers, dancers, artisits rappers, etc. Section 1(a), MOAD agrees to compensate Entertainers with a total amount of [$150] payable [on the day at the Worcester African Festival, or within 24-48 hours or on the next Business day after the Festival].
2. COMPENSATION:
a.Option 1: DJ Services Only
- In consideration of the services outlined in Section 1(b), MOAD agrees to compensate DJ with a total amount of [$150.00] payable [on the day at the Worcester African Festival, or within 24-48 hours or on the next Business day after the Festival].
3. DURATION OF COLLABORATION:
- The collaboration between MOAD and DJ or Entainter , as outlined in this contract, shall commence upon e-mail confirmation from MOAD after this contract is competed and shall continue until the completion of the 2025 Worcester African Festival.
4. REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES:
a. MOAD represents and warrants that it has the necessary authority to enter into this contract and engage DJ's services for the festival.
b. DJ represents and warrants that they possess the required licenses, permits, and insurances necessary to provide the agreed-upon services.
5. CONFIDENTIALITY:
- Both parties agree to keep any confidential information shared during the course of this collaboration confidential and not disclose it to any third parties without prior written consent.
6. TERMINATION:
- Either party may terminate this contract with written notice if the other party breaches any material provision of this contract. In the event of termination, any outstanding compensation owed to DJ shall be paid within [3-5 business days] from the termination date.
