Passport or proof of citizenship / Photo ID

 Drivers License Front/ Back Police Check (< 2 years old)

Vic Roads Driving History report(include demerit points) < 6months old

Medical certificate < 3 years old (<1yr old if driver >50)

LFT Driver/Contractor Induction

The CHAIN APP sign in can then be created but marked as inactive until all the required documents are uploaded into the system. Driver Login details and induction summary sent to Driver

3. What trucks have you driven & who has trained you? What is your experience as a driver?

4. What are your intentions driving? Is it long term or just the interim?

5. What would happen if you were in a minor or major accident?

6. What do you think are the main duties of a truck driver?

7. Has your employer trained you on what a pre-start check involves and can you explain the steps involved?

8. Did any customer ever file a complaint against you?

9. The trucking business is all about meeting deadlines, especially where deliveries are concerned. How do you make sure that you meet deadlines?

10. What are your views about driving safety?

11. What do you know about the paperwork involved in the trucking business?

12. How do you go with using technology such as smart phones and apps?

13. What would you do if a customer asks you a delivery favour? Suppose they ask you to deliver a package somewhere on your way, what would you do?

14. Can you perform manual labour tasks / hand unloads if necessary ?

15. What is your availability for this position, when can you start?

Workwear group The chain app Training - LFT Staff to show driver the chain app and take them through a test job. Explaining the importance of completing every part of the app/runsheets.

Onsite when hitting buttons ( arrived / load, unload / finished) Importance of Signatures Loader questions to be signed off by loader where ever possible Photos of Loaded truck and photos on arrival Use Scanner for paperwork and camera for photos Driver shown how to access messages Driver shown how to view and upload all inductions into their app
